I stayed at this hotel and overall it was a good experience. The location is great, very busy, and close to Bangla Street. However, after midnight, the area becomes less safe. There are many drunk people and some individuals under the influence of drugs, and they tend to bother others. You can find everything you need near the hotel. One minor drawback was that we booked a room with breakfast included, but the hotel itself does not have a restaurant. We had to go to the restaurant below the hotel, which had a limited menu. We ended up eating eggs every day.

The location is great.

Since the location is pretty close to all the "Patong Shenanigans" which is a blessing and a curse in itself. Its pretty loud in the hotel room up until 11:30pm but after that its dead silent.

We had a really nice stay at this hotel. Would definitely recommend if staying in patong. Staff were excellent and friendly -especially roof top bar staff Bed was very very comfortable Hotel was very modern and clean Infinity pool and sun bathing area was nice with a good atmosphere from pool bar who played music Breakfast was offered through the very good coffee club next door. Food and coffee was excellent. Lots of restaurants and bars within close proximity- we enjoyed the Turkish restaurant- lots of food for a good price Location - less than 5 minutes from Banglar Road and Patong beach directly across the road

We were unfortunately able to hear the neighbours television which was incredibly loud late at night The room had a strong overpowering perfumed smell to it. Potentially the cleaning fluid they used but after opening the balcony doors it went away.

The rooms were excellent and very clean. Staff were also lovely and always helpful. The bed was amazingly comfortable too, and great location to everything so we didn’t need to catch a tuktuk anywhere for daily requirements. Nice but small rooftop pool area.

The balcony was very disappointing (and I love a balcony to sit out on) with barely room for one person and only a view of the hotel rooms next to us. No buffet breakfast included unless you wanted to buy a voucher for the coffee club next door, which we only did once to try out and didn’t bother again. Pool was small but refreshing and perfectly fine for arvo’s beside the pool and a dip. This is not a resort style hotel, if you are after that don’t book here, but it was fine for our intentions.

I had an incredible experience staying at the Bloc Hotel in Patong! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The location couldn’t be better—right across from the beach and just steps away from all the buzz of Bangla Road, shopping, and great food spots. Despite being in the heart of Patong, the rooms are surprisingly quiet, offering a peaceful retreat after a fun day (or night) out. The rooftop pool was a highlight—stunning views of the ocean and the perfect place to relax with a cocktail in hand. The rooms are modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed with everything you need. Fast Wi-Fi, great air conditioning, and super comfy beds made all the difference. What really set this hotel apart was the attention to detail and the friendliness of the team. They were always happy to help with recommendations or arrangements and made me feel like a valued guest every single day. If you're heading to Patong and want comfort, style, and unbeatable location, I can’t recommend the Bloc Hotel enough. I’ll definitely be back!

If I had to mention one "downside," it would be that everything was so amazing that time just flew by! I honestly didn’t want to leave. That’s how you know a place leaves a real mark—when every moment is so enjoyable it feels like it ended too soon.

This was my second time staying here, and I highly recommend it! The location is perfect if you want to be close to Bangla Road — you’re right in the heart of it all. Patong Beach is just across the road, and The Coffee Club is conveniently located downstairs. The rooftop pool is stunning, especially at sunset. They offer a 3-hour daily happy hour, and the staff will even bring cocktails straight to you while you’re swimming — such a great touch! The staff are friendly and incredibly helpful, making the whole stay easy and enjoyable. Also, make sure to download the Bolt app for affordable and reliable transport around town.

There was a big noise in the middle of the night . It looks like someone in the aile was very angry. So I would prefer a better security service specially because of the location (very close to the walking street)

Check in was a breeze. Staff were very friendly and helpful (except of 1). Close to many restaurants and patong beach is just opposite. Wasnt loud. A good stay overall.

1 staff was super rude when we enquired on transport to the airport. He just told us off to go n catch a taxi off the streets. Could have told us in a nice way. He was very rude. But only that one male staff.

Loved the location and facilities. The rooftop pool and bar was awesome. Many cocktails were consumed during the happy hour from 1.00pm to 5.00pm the staff were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms cleaned daily is a huge plus. Bed was very comfortable, modern decor and not so old building was well kept and maintained, truthfully, The Block was amazing, and with the coffee club directly in the complex, made the morning breakfast choice very easy with Western and Thai cuisine to an exceptional standard. Don't forget to purchase your coffee club voucher at the Block reception, value for money right here.The Bloc is so close to the action of Bangala road, restaurants, Beauty parlours, beach activities and tours. I will definitely be returning to this hotel and awesomely friendly staff, already planning my next stay.

Liked: bed was comfortable, the 4 complimentary water bottles per day was very thoughtful, location was amazing with a partial sea view, rooftop pool and bar, friendly staff, hotel was clean Disliked: daily collection of vouchers for breakfast to eat at the neighbor cafe which the choices were very limited (not a buffet, but a la carte with a choice of one drink only), internet was very unstable and slow, the 1000 Bhat cash deposit was not a good idea for a tourist, card was a better option
