It looked very cool, a modern minimalist design (but sometimes form defeated function) The balcony we has was lovely to sit on, better IMHO than the 'pool access' rooms which were less private.

The hotel blurb talks of free shuttle buses to sister hotels / beach clubs on nearby beaches but fail to mention that if you go there you have to pay for a sunbed. It felt somewhat dishonest, a deliberate omission. The lighting is all controlled by a single key pad but it's not wireless and restaurant / poolside menus are all via QR codes or a tablet device (you have to share). I consider myself tech-friendly but these are solution to a problems that don't exist and instead get in the way.

TwinPalms - Surin beach was fantastic. The biggest outdoor pool we came across during the whole of our Thai trip. The bar and breakfast menu was great. The gym was amazing - biggest gym we had come across too including steam and sauna. The free shuttles to all the different restaurants and bars nearby is an absolute bonus too. Surin beach 1 min across the road was absolutely beautiful too.

This was the only hotel we came across in Thailand that tried to charge you for all the additional extras in the room i.e the beach bag within the wardrobe -- at all other places these are usually free. You'll see all these extras in your room, then the price tag attached - a free beach bag would have been a nice touch.

Beautiful kept and looked after gardens, rooms etc. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff.

A swim upto bar is a must in our view, it's better for socialising with other guests. We did not like the large group of very loud and arrogant group of Russians that came in with a truckload of kids. So next time we will have to find a resort that does not accommodate for children.

Statement hotel and statement swimming pool, huge and classy. One of the most comfortable rooms we've ever slept in, best sleeps and customisation options upon check in (pillow types and room scents). Quality service and calm vibe, architectural design is great; smaller buildings around the large pool area. Also very close to one of the best beaches in Thailand, Surin. Excellent breakfast and nice lunch/all day dining options. Also has some great sister facilities at other TP hotels and bang tao beach. We went to both Catch Beach club and a restaurant called Kalido nearby, both also recommended. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus. Although Surin village also has several good external options all within a short walk One final point, the hotel app is excellent and can be used for many things, best I've seen so far. The staff were also very helpful arranging excursions and extras. Definitely highly recommended.

Lovely Pool and surrounding area . A short walk to Surin Beach although Surin isn't the best beach, better off taking short trip to sister hotel on far nicer Kamala beach , if you don't want to go to Catch every day.

Personally, we would like the Hotel to have a bar that opened in the evening - I am sure there is a reason, but the pool bar could easily stay open until 10.30 / 11 with some light background music it could be a lovely spot for a post dinner drink as not many other nice options available nearby.

Classy little property with a great gym, and I had a really good massage at the spa. Efficient staff, and great value.

They were doing some work at the pool area, and although the blinds are blackout light came in through the bathroom.
