Rai Eingpu is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Cheow Lan Lake. The room was very clean, comfortable, air con works great and we really appreciated the coffee, kettle and fridge that were provided in the room. The host is the loveliest man who helped us with everything, from taxi transfers from the bus stop to on-site scooter hire and a ride to Surat Thani on our departure day. He was very easy to communicate with through message and in person, and is very generous and kind. His litter of rescue kittens he picked up off the street are the cutest! We 100% recommend staying in this friendly little homestay and will miss the peaceful jungle vibes.

we loved the location, very close to the dam and the pier where u can book your tail boat lake tours etc. very clean bedrooms. Lovely isolated location, very quiet and full of nature all around. Alos very close to an amazing golf course, where you can play 9 or 18 holes (very inexpensive too with buggy, club rentals and caddy). good cost effective rooms for budget travellers Just down the road (5 mins walk/2 mins drive) was a fantastic restaurant serving great food from 8am to 10pm. We also found a great restaurant (Belong Jin) with a great view of the mountains. supply of some biscuits and pot noodles was a nice touch

quality of the bathrooms needed some work. Missed some personal touches. So many beautiful flowers around, so could of put them in the room to welcome us

If you’re looking for a quite relaxed experience in the jungle right near the National Park pier this is the place to book. The owner Bann and his family were so accommodating providing us with transfer to Krabi afterwards provided his own bike for us to use to explore and set up our tour for us and provided food and beer that we ordered to the door all day. Home is beautiful and very comfortable. Beware: You are in the JUNGLE, keep your doors and windows closed as much as possible or you will get some critters which made for a good laugh while my misses screamed as I collected them and put back outside 😂👌🏽🫶🏽

No negatives. If you want a very comfortable experience in the Jungle right by the Pier for national park tours this is perfect. We got the full 2 bed home for 2 nights

The hosts were absolutely fantastic, and they really helped us make the most out of our stay there. They arranged for us: drivers, tours and even transfers to our next destination. Our time in Khao Sok wouldn't have been the same without them. The apartment was super clean and tidy, too.

Missing some basic amenities that westerners might miss, such as handsoap, shower mats, kitchen sink etc. Location is quite remote. Can't book Grab drivers or food deliveries, and its hard to even get a tuk tuk driver, so you have to be very deliberate with your daily plans and activities.

Room for 4 had smart TV, double thai tv. Good place to eat 5 min walk - nice setting and reasonable price / choices.

Dark room, with small window. Big bright light but no small light which would be more comfortable

Owner spoke good English and was ready to help out. For this amount of money it was nice to stay here for two days, it is really close to the Lake and you can get there with a Grab in a few minutes. There is few restaurants in walking distance.

A lot of bugs around, but you are in the jungle to it is to be expected. Room was a bit small for 4 people but it looked exactly as on the pictures so you get what you see.

We liked that the room was very spacious with two double beds for our family of four. I personally liked the fact that the quilts used on the bedding were extremely soft which made the night sleep extra cozy. We were greeted late evening on arrival and breakfast was arranged for us the following morning for 100 baht per person. Mopeds were available for the 2 days we needed them which was very handy as we were quite isolated otherwise. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and the family were most helpful in ordering us a taxi on our day of departure. Great location, great host family. Great accommodation 😊

we stayed here to be close enough to the lake that we could get up and go, and then have somewhere to rest after. for that purpose, beautiful. nice spacious and CLEAN room. lovely porch. very very quiet but literally 10 mins from the lake and 15 mins from the main town. easy to rent a bike from the owners, which is well worth it as it’s a little remote. nice staff and a lovely dog who loves to come sit with you!

it’s a good stop over point, i wouldn’t stay here for long as its very quiet and away from shops and bars.

Good value for money - budget accommodation in nice, quiet area. The host was very kind and helpful in arranging transport or trips. When booking please note, that the location is far from city and there are only few restaurants nearby (no shops). It is also far from the main attractions so you need to rent a scooter to get anywhere. Fortunately, you can rent them directly at the place.

Room was clean and we had everything we needed. They even offer some snacks and other drinks then water in the room for a little price. Since this location is far from everything it was nice to have the option. Also there is a nice restaurant next door. We liked that it was so quiet at this place. Just nature. Also we asked if they could arrange us a ride to the bus station what they kindly did.

Bed was really hard and uncomfortable
