staff was super friendly and accomodating, going out of their way if something is missing. great location if you want to be based close to the damm for a day tour. tour booked at reception, hassle free. great views of the mountains and off the beaten track / busy road.. which is great if you like it quiet….literally zero to do around…so if you are wanting some serenity this is the place to be

the rooms, bungalows are fine and spacious, the garden still has some potential in it….bit rough around the edges but nothing that has an impact on your stay…

Very charming place tucked away with very nice staff/owner. Very helpful in booking boat tours and private taxis at a way better price than is found online, all at the front desk which is also a delicious restaurant. I didn't realize how close it was to the pier and was very happy about the quick trip to the water tour. It was also amazing to rent a scooter at the desk for a half day to explore around Khao Sok and catch a great sunset and dinner nearby.

The beds were a bit harder than I'm used to but even that grew on me.

I really enjoyed Baan Suan Hill Resort. It was a pleasure staying there with my partner, and the perfect launching pad for our adventure in Khao Sok National park. They happily arranged transportation, had a great breakfast, and gave us good recommendations for what to do nearby.

The location is great as a launching pad for adventures in Khao Sok, or on the way to Surat Thani airport. The resort itself is beautiful, but there is not much going on in the immediate area if that's important to you.

Great houses to stay, true Thailand experience and feeling. Location superb to be the first on the lake. Super clean and green!

Rather remote to walk to a store (many street dogs on the way to the store). We wanted to swim so took a taxi to another resort and spend the afternoon swimming and eating there. Breakfast offered nothing that I would ever eat for breakfast. Only ate an apple and drank some tea.

Beautiful little place, the gardens were very pretty and peaceful. Room comfortable. Lovely restaurant with great food and the owners were very hospitable, would stay again if we were coming to Khao Sok!

Unless you had travel booked then it was a little bit of a walk to get to anywhere, except a 7 eleven that was close by but perfect for those staying over a night before going on to the lake.

Quiet and clean, nice place off the beaten track. We got to chat with our neighbours and seemed like it would be great for a family stay as well. Grounds were well maintained, nice atmosphere and a short walk to the 7/11 for any necessities.

Most staff didn't speak much English so communication wasn't always clear. They were still helpful and able to get whatever we needed. Grab didn't work well in this town.

Location was very close to cheow lan lake. Room was spacious, sorrounded ny nature. Beds were comfortable. There is a restaurant on site that has great food at very reasonable prices. There is also a 7/11 not too far from the resort. Price was very good value.

Breakfast was very poor. Just some eggs, pad thai and saussages. We didn't bother to come the second day we were there. Just went to 7/11 instead.

We loved our stay here! Owner was amazing, so so lovely!! Our room was clean and spacious, had a fridge and TV. Breakfast was included, we were in a rush but owner offered for us to stay and to ask transfer to wait. Great for the price, right next to the dam to easy access to the lake for day and night trips, may need bike/ car as taxis were non existent haha. Otherwise we LOVED our stay. Thankyou!!!!! 7/11 5 min walk. Great value for money :-))

Nothing apart from hard to get anywhere outside immediate area without a car or bike but we enjoyed the hotel.

Beautiful and peaceful little place. The owner is lovely and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh and healthy options. Very close to town with restaurants and an 7/11, about an 10min walk. Also the cat the walks the grounds is the sweetest and stole my heart. Would stay here again!

We stayed here prior to a 2 day trip around Koh Sok national park. For this the location is perfect, about a 10 minute taxi drive from the pier. The owner was really friendly and helpful in booking a taxi etc, despite her English not being the best. No restuarant, but the owner is happy to order a takeaway for you, and the price/quality/variety was really good.

Room was nice and clean but the bathroom was a bit grubby. Breakfast was a strange mix, fine if you'll eat anything but wouldn't be so good for fussy eaters. There is a 7 Eleven about a 10-15 min walk away if needed. Note that payment has to be in cash, despite Booking.com implying you've paid by card at the time of booking. We had to check out bank statement at the time.
