Almost everything, you have a beautiful resort and your staff were all fabulous. A special mention to your staff at the pier office who arranged for our bag to be delivered to our hotel in Krabi after we had left it on departure. We were very impressed, thank you!

We stayed in the family villa (no 5) and I didn’t think the upstairs level was very safe for the children, it needs extra barriers. My daughter (age 8) wakes up every night in a sleep walking state and walks herself to the toilet, I was terrified she would step over the wrong side of the barrier, thinking that was the stairs and that she would fall directly to the floor. You need an extra rail on both sides, especially the side with the stairs to make sure the children step over the right part of the low barrier you have there. Please! I also think your restaurant would benefit from a separate lunch and dinner menu, just so there are options if you are staying for multiple days.

Absolutely fantastic views, the boat ride to and from the hotel is stunning, out of this world. It is utterly peaceful and so much fun to swim in the lake or take the kayak out and explore. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here for one or two nights, after that there are not too many things to do and it could get old always eating at the same restaurant.

-The transfer to and from the property should be included in the (high) price of the hotel. -Because the resort is on water it is fairly basic in comparison to other 5 star resorts. - It takes a few hours to get used to the considerable rocking of the rooms and is not for people who easily get carsick/boat sick - the food could have been better and you are stuck with eating at the one restaurant for your entire stay

The breakfast was excellent but not plentiful, we were still hungry and felt that the food was very limited

The location is amazing and rare, but the resort is very expensive compared to Thailand, and you expect that if you have already paid so much, then the transportation there will be in a more pampering boat and not in a ride where you get all wet and sit uncomfortably. An amazing experience to sleep on the lake, but I would expect this resort to pamper more and not be so expensive for a 3 star hotel, at this price all meals and food should be included, and in abundance.

The view is hard to beat. Having a kayak at your door to explore this magnificent body of water and its jungle-lined shore where wildlife thrives is exceptional. The service here is fantastic and very friendly, love the staff. The food and drinks are "Aroy”, very delicious, try the 500 Rai Mango Madness smoothie, you won’t be disappointed.

The rooms get very warm during the daytime. The private toilet and shower rooms are not soundproof, they are open air design and everything you do can be heard by anyone passing by. No in-room refrigerator.

We enjoyed the remoteness of 500 Rai and the beautiful views. The prices were high for things like alcohol, adventures and massage but overall worth it. I appreciated that they changed out everyone’s bamboo docks since when we first arrived they were very slippery and sinking/unable to hold weight. They allowed us to apply our adventure price to our big money promo which was not expected and very nice.

The beds were extremely hard and sharp on the edges due to metal frame. We were suppose to revive either spa service discount or alcohol as a welcome package and neither were offered/granted. I also wished they offered differing menu options or specials for more variety since the menu is the same for lunch and dinner and breakfast everyday.

We loved 500rai. The The staff were an absolute delight - Nipha, Tisha and Sammy (nut) were brilliant and made our stay. The location is insane. We read some negative reviews saying it’s overpriced but considering its remoteness, it’s understandable that to operate a floating hotel situated where it is, operating costs will of course be higher and therefore yes, this is a little more expensive than other hotels in the region but we felt it totally worth it. The food and service has been great and we have loved our time here - incredibly special place.

The staff was extraordinarily kind, and helpful. The views of the lake are other worldly, Fantastic, Spell binding. Beautiful, The color of the lake is a bright Aqua Marine. The food was just Ok, some things were better than others. They are good at scrambled eggs with nice things added to them. Very tasty. The wait staff were some of sweetest in Thailand. Thicha was adorable. Very attentive. They try very hard to please you. As for the room and the heat, It was very difficult to get comfortable during the day time. The AC is NOT effective. But was very effective once the sun went down, just fine to sleep. We did not do any day trips, so we were stuck to the dock or our room. Felt a little trapped, but attitude is everything, and that went away. Also the lake was very very warm. Lots of algae or green moss floating all around…. but they also try to clean that as much as they can ……nearly impossible. I didn’t mind it too much. The rooms were impeccably clean. This is a floating resort, so some cabins rock a lot on the wind. Just be mindful. You can easily loose your balance, so hold on.

The HEAT, which can’t be helped. Internet was poor, but ok at times. Needed to be off the Internet anyway, take books …things to read or journal.

We had a wonderful two night stay in a floating villa here. Loved having the swimming pool and the restaurant is very spacious with a great view of the lake. Staff was also extremely kind and helpful. The hotel organizes a ton of activities (both off site and on site). We loved our cave tour (but bring shoes and socks for leeches).

The vaulted ceiling in the restaurant fills every evening with dozens of little birds that fly about the restaurant pooping. We (and our food) thankfully never got hit directly with droppings but the remnants end up on the furniture.

The disconnect is real. You get to experience nature at its finest with those you love. The staff there were amazing and the food was absolutely delicious.

It is a bit hard to get to if you are taking a public bus. The bus stop is NOT Khao Sok National Park Greenhouse. The bus stop would be inside Ban Ta Khun District, on the way towards Surat Thani. About another hour past the “Khao Sok” stop to get to the pier. Otherwise, I suggest private taxi.

The scenery and surroundings are amazing and you will fill your camera with screen saver quality pictures. Water in the lake is warm and very inviting for a swim, paddle or kayak. Food is good quality and portions are massive.

Food and drink very expensive, nowhere else to buy and not allowed to bring your own stuff means they do have a bit of a monopoly on you. Look at the menu, calculate how much you expect to spend as they do offer an option to purchase a 5000bhat ticket which gives you 6000bhat to spend. Wildlife safari was not worth the price as we didn't see much but you are dealing with wild animals so you can't complain if they don't want to come out. Private transfers are over the going rate. Offered us a 3500bhat private taxi to our next destination but I managed to find a local taxi at the pier for 2000 within 2mins of arriving back at the pier. Room needs a fridge!
