Room was ok as a place to shower and sleep. Location was fine off to side of the Medina. It's a rough looking, filthy area though I never felt unsafe. The staff was extremely helpful with advice on what to do around the city and country.

The hotel is narrow so there's street noise coming from the front and back, plus the lousy timing of heavy reconstruction beginning every morning at 7am with a building just behind. I had asked for a quiet room. Families with children were placed in rooms on either side of me, though the facility appeared to be empty on my floor and others. I also did not appreciate that the housekeeper took it upon themself to repack all of my things and rearrange the room after the first day of cleaning. I ask for no service after this.

I stayed there 4 nights. The staff spoke English. Excellent housekeeping. I was really pleased with the hotel room though it was small, but it fit well. I had a lovely balcony and was smack in the middle of the building and buildings across that could see each other. The room and bathroom and hallways were kept very clean and well maintained. The shower was excellent. The font desk lady was extremely helpful and nice. The evening front desk fluctuated between nice and mean. The cafe is really nice with a very friendly man there and very nice coffee service. No breakfast but they have some cakes to have with the coffee. The windows have a wonderful darkening automatic rolling shade. The TV was good with plenty of channels. The WiFi worked nicely with occasional slow downs. I didn't have much baggage so I am not sure if they have a bellboy or not. There is an ATM and Bank right around the hotel. Plenty of shops and street vendors and the main square is a short walking distance. You really feel the local vibration there and it really made my travel experience authentic and rich.

The only thing that I disliked so much was the bathroom lights it operated on a motion sensor and no switch. So when you get to bed you cannot turn the light on and it seemed like it took forever to turn off. If you moved in your sleep the light came on. An awful feature. Wish they had a switch instead along with the motion sensor.

Excellent Luxury hotel in a very quiet edge of the Medina. Very peaceful retreat in a great location in Tunis. The bathroom was great. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud.

The restaurant menu is pricey and limited, often they were out of dishes listed on the menu. It’s a chalkboard menu so unsure why they wouldn’t just update the menu..? Slow service as well. Breakfast buffet was fantastic though.

Great location next to the medina. The room was clean & comfortable, nicely furnished, the shower had constant hot water & the price was very reasonable. The staff were friendly & helpful & the coffee in the bar was the best I had in Tunis.

I would have liked more choice for breakfast, such as eggs, cheese, cold meats, but that was a minor issue & wouldn’t stop me staying again if I return to Tunis.

I like everything in the hotel. The staff first, the room and how clean and i like the location too.

Great room, wonderful sheets and towels, endless hot water in private bath, quiet, even a small, protected balcony. Better yet were the hosts who eagerly gave sound and friendly advice and suggestions and spoke my language well. I didn't get a Tunisia SIM card, so they placed a couple calls for me. They also helped me crack the code of getting taxis in a town where vacant taxis commonly drive right by on the street. Great location, top value, nice continental breakfast with very good coffee for the pittance of 5 Dinar, highly recommended.

This is hardly worth mentioning, and it made no difference to me, but the floor in the room was showing a bit of wear. Everything else in the room was at top standard.

The location was great, felt safe and was close to the Médina. We were supposed to show up at 6pm but our flight was very delayed and we didn’t get to the hotel until close to midnight. The staff were super accommodating and helped us check in late. They were available 24/7. It was a good value for the money.

When we wanted to pay late at night the receptionist wanted to keep our passports until the morning, it’s a minor thing but didn’t make either of us feel very comfortable.

The location is premium, just a few minutes' walk from the main entrance of the Medina. You have a Monoprix a few minutes away, plus restaurants around. Also, they serve amazing coffee. The best thing about the hotel is its staff. They were extremely welcoming and accommodating. This changes the experience anywhere you stay, and they were outstanding.

Something to improve would be their breakfast. However, the value for money is great.

Good value for money and great location, only 5 mins walk to the medina. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Being so central, and even though I asked for a room at the back of the hotel, it was quite noisy in the evening and early morning.

Location is walk distance to both medina and the main avenue. A Monoprix supermarket is not far, which is convenient to buy groceries because it closes later than other stores nearby. Everything closes very early in the neighborhood and can be a little dark, so I might not stay here if I were a solo female traveler. Reception is friendly and helpful.

The toilet does not flush well. Do NOT throw toilet papers in it!!! There are stairs at the entrance, and no elevator to rooms, so if you have large luggage you might reconsider. The street is very busy during the day, some taxis might not accept going there. We got off at Avenue Bourguiba near “Bab Al-Bahr” (an ancient gate) and walked to the hotel.
