I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with my family in late October 2024 for vacation. Two rooms, in total 4 people. EVERYTHING was excellent. I do not understand the few people that have put negative comments about this hotel. I did not find anything negative: o Location: EXCELLENT. Just in front of a main bulevard, similar to the "Champs-Élysées" in Paris. Very close to Medina, just 20 min on foot. Taxis were near by, though I was using the Bolt taxi application, which is popular in Tunis, instead of hailing a taxi. o Staff: VERY HELPFUL, polite, speaking French and English fluently. If you want to organise a private tour for your family, or something similar, ask for Fedi, an fluent English speaking person, warm, eager to help and provide ideas. The rest of the staff was also good. I asked for a bottle of water while I was having breakfast and they brought water and glasses for my whole family at the table. o Breakfast: Very good, big choice to choose from. I especially liked the omelletes cooked in front of you and the pancakes. I have been in many cities around the world and this was a very good breakfast. Even my wife and children liked it very much and they are "picky". o Rooms: Quite large, clean, with good A/C. Minor: Rooms could have an espresso machine and maybe a fresh bottle of water every day. Second minor note: More toilet paper to be found in the room, just in case. o WiFi: Of course there was WiFi, free, maybe not too fast, but ok for general use. As said, a memorable stay. I DEFINITELY propose this hotel.

Great location, impeccably clean, fantastic staff, secure staffed locked above ground parking. Spacious room and comfortable large bed and bath.

Breakfast was a bit expensive. Would be great to have had a genius discount or had breakfast for slightly less (was crazy expensive for Tunisia, but excellent). Air conditioner did not work (but maybe off? We are from the north and it was only Feb here = very hot for us but cold for Tunis…)

Location was perfect and close everything in the city center. Free Parking for your rental car. I like the breakfast as different choices. Security and the front desk staff are full support. I extend my stay in the hotel 4 times for that reason

Wife very slow connection and my advice look for Sime card for internet . The carpet for my room need to be change or washing .

Booked the hotel just before we arrived, we did pay for a better room but the reception gave us a lower quality room, upon checking they quickly rectified the issue. The room was probably one of the biggest I've stayed at for the price that we paid. We did not take the extra buffet breakfast that was offered at 10 euros per head. Check-in and checkout were quick and swift. The entrance to the hotel was very grandeur, a bit like the Savoy and we loved the difference. The reception hall was busy with people which is always nice to see. The hotel is a little outdated but the price and size make up for this. Basic toiletries were available and the wifi and air con worked well. The lifts were super quick. The beds were comfy and had keycard entry. Tip: Go for the superior room for a few pounds more, it is well worth it

The sink tap was broken but usable, we did not bother to report this as I managed to repair this myself. Only 1 bathrobe for a room with 2 occupancy. The fridge was unplugged and we could not find a way to plug this in. Some mould in the bathroom which should be addressed if this is classed as a 5 star hotel.

Close to airport. Quiet environment.

Curtains were dated. There was not much to the breakfast. The potato served seemed to have been cooked the day before. The men working in the hotel stared at us as if we were from Mars, talks in their language, and then laugh.. instead of informing us at check in that there was a charge to pay at checkout, they raised this when we were in a hurry about to checkout

Instant coffee :( For such a wonderful (albeit older) hotel if they could just have real coffee available (I would’ve been happy to pay extra at breakfast!) it would be so so glorious.

Great location in Tunis centre. Rooms may look dated at first glance but are in good order, clean and comfortable. Breakfast has a very varied choice for all tastes with plenty of staff who are happy to help if you have any questions.

The wifi was not super strong and dropped out at times.

The staff, polite cleaning staff, big airy room, extremely comfortable. A workable en suite safe with instructions on several languages. The hotel offers breakfast-in-bed but I chose to eat outside on the street side cafes: much more fur much less.

The shower is in the bathtub with no security features to limit slipping. The shower hot water fluctuates from hot to cold back to hot for no apparent reason within a matter of seconds. The antiquated air conditioning didn’t seem to work properly which meant that I had to keep the window open all day and night which allowed mosquitoes to enter (even on the 11th floor). They offer room service from a comprehensive menu but they never seem to have what you want. The fine dining restaurant was closed the Friday evening I chose to eat there. You can only eat at a buffet so many times.
