I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Lord of Cappadocia Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. This family-run hotel is exceptional, with meticulous attention to detail and a focus on creating a remarkable guest experience. The hotel itself is cozy and inviting—perfect if you want to feel the warmth and be immersed in the local culture. The rooms are beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable, making you feel right at home. The lovely breakfast each morning was a delightful start to the day, featuring delicious local dishes. The outstanding terrace, offering the best view of the city both day and night, quickly became one of our favorite spots. A special mention must go to Ersel, the owner, and his son, Al, for their extraordinary service that goes far beyond just the hotel. Ersel joined us in lovely chats where we learned a lot about Cappadocia, adding a personal touch to our stay. They were incredibly helpful with everything we needed to make our visit to Cappadocia unique and memorable. The hotel’s convenient location near all major attractions made exploring the area effortless. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The rooftop terrace was also a highlight — perfect for taking photos and enjoying the view. The staff were very helpful and made arranging airport shuttles easy. On our departure day, we were really worried we weren’t going to get back to the airport on time, and the front desk went above and beyond to call the airport shuttle and arrange a ride for us so we didn’t have to stress about it.

the staff were incredible friendly and supportive, the freshly prepared buffet breakfast each morning was to die for! It was so nice to try a range of different authentic turkish foods. the staff were so supportive and helpful and booking tours, activities and transport - we didn’t have to worry about anything! the location was so lovely and close to town, would highly recommend

-) The staff was amazing—very attentive and always aiming to find us the best deals (for example, they even picked us up from a tour to ensure we made it to the airport on time) -) the hotel is very well located - it is a small building with comfortable rooms (not very big) but good enough for 2/3 days -) cleaning service was good

-) The room lighting was very low, making it difficult to read at night -) More shampoo and shower gel could have been provided in the room (we requested additional supplies from the staff, and they provided them) -) Breakfast was good but could offer more variety (nothing very significant) - it had the necessary and it was good

The property is at the end of the main area where the shops and restaurants are, this was very practical because that means we saw everything and we didn’t miss anything. We arrived and saw that the room with jacuzzi is available and we asked if we can stay there. The manager allowed us without any hesitations and gave us a discount in the actual price. Everyone was so nice especially Baris! He was always ready to answer our questions and gave us a lot of recommendations and suggestions that made our stay comfortable. We will definitely come back soon!

Upon entering the hotel, the hotel itself looks very lovely and traditional. We were greeted by accommodating staff and they were very kind. I have asked the owner if he could help me with the birthday surprise of my partner and he has kindly help me with it, even getting us a very delicious cake and balloons. Thank you so much! ❤️ In the room, the sheets were very clean amd very comfortable. We had a very nice and relaxing sleep after a long day of hot air balloon and other tours. Food was great as well! Everything was delicous! Location is cherry on top! It’s very accessible, we just walked around the city and we can go back to the hotel anytime without feeling tired! I felt very safe, relaxed, and welcomed. We even stayed at the hotel to wait for out transfer and they were very kind to let us use the facilities while waiting. Superb experience and will surely book this hotel when we will visit again. Thank you for all the kind and welcoming staff. Do not hesitate bookinh this hotel! ❤️

Nothing, I loved everything!

Excellent location. You can see the balloons from the hotel. Near centre and at the same time quiet and relaxing. Very nice staff. Very nice breakfast BUT breakfast has room to be excellent.

Breakfast has a very wide range of YUMMY food, and we liked it the first day. BUT unfortunately after that it was the same food from the day before and it was really not fresh. BUT still you could choose food like Tahina and grape syrup or jam and butter which was really nice. If they fix the freshness of the food I give 10 out of 10 to this hotel and very nice staff.

Excellent location of the hotel. Right before the Town Centre. It was a really cute alley walk to the town centre which is super crowded. So the walk along the small stream was very pleasant. And the view of the hot air balloons in the mornings was very nice. They have good breakfast and the receptionist Barees was very helpful in arranging the tours and hot air balloons. Cute hotel.

For the rate of the rooms, it's quite expensive I felt. There were better rooms with better views. Honestly I didn't know about this before visiting Cappadocia. So next time I might book one of those rooms on top of the hills for better view. Other than that I didn't have any problems.

This hotel truly deserves every bit of praise it receives. it offers an unparalleled experience when it comes to accessibility and convenience. As soon as I arrived, I was struck by the hotel's proximity to some of the city's most iconic landmarks and attractions. Watching the sun set over the hotel from the hotel's rooftop terrace was a truly magical experience that I will cherish forever. the breakfast is very nice and recommended.
