I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Azalea Terrace Hotel, and what truly set it apart was the exceptional kindness and hospitality of the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and made to feel completely at home. Every staff member I encountered—from the front desk to housekeeping—went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and stress-free. Whether it was offering local recommendations, accommodating a last-minute room request, or simply greeting me each day with a genuine smile, the team here exemplifies what it means to provide outstanding service. Their attention to detail and sincere care made a lasting impression, and it’s clear they genuinely enjoy making their guests feel special. The hotel itself is charming and peaceful, with beautifully kept rooms and a lovely atmosphere, but it’s the people who make Azalea Terrace truly unforgettable. I can’t recommend it enough, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Our room was perfect: spacious, clean, and with plenty of storage to use. It was warm and cozy, and the bed was large and very comfortable. The hotel has a beautiful terrace with stunning views over Goreme, especially breathtaking at 7:00 am when the hot air balloons fill the sky. The breakfast is served from 8:30-10:30 and it’s delicious! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Goreme. Within a 5-minute walk, you’ll find everything you need: restaurants, the bus station, supermarkets, pharmacies, and more. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff – exceptionally attentive, kind and hospitable. They went above and beyond to help us with airport transportation, plan our activities, and give us recommendations. We couldn’t be happier with our stay, highly recommend this hotel, and will absolutely return!

Our stay at Azalea Terrace was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Turkey, especially in Cappadocia. The hotel's location was unbeatable—just a short stroll from the heart of Göreme and within easy reach of the central bus stop. It made exploring the town incredibly convenient. In terms of accessibility, it couldn’t have been better. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. Although we arrived earlier than the designated check-in time, the hotel staff noticed how tired we were from our travels and graciously allowed us to check in early, which we deeply appreciated. The staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. They went above and beyond, even arranging sightseeing tours for us on both days, making our experience seamless. The room was nothing short of fantastic—spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated with a touch of local charm. The bathroom was especially spotless, which was a pleasant surprise. From our balcony, we had the magical experience of watching the iconic Cappadocia hot air balloons drift across the sky each morning. It was breathtaking. One of the standout features of the hotel was its stunning terrace, which was elegantly decorated and offered a perfect vantage point to enjoy the morning balloons while indulging in a delicious breakfast. The terrace also had a beautifully curated area, adorned with traditional carpets, perfect for capturing those quintessential Cappadocian photos with the balloons in the background. The breakfast itself was a highlight—delightfully tasty, filling, and a great way to start the day. Every morning felt special, as we enjoyed both the flavors of the food and the extraordinary view. Overall, our experience at Azalea Terrace was exceptional. The combination of impeccable service, stunning views, and charming ambiance made it a stay to remember. We truly enjoyed every moment of it.

The hotel is close to restaurants and walking distance to the sunset/sunrise viewpoint. My favorite part is the breakfast at the terrace - it's cozy and bright up there. They provided toothbrush apart from the usual bathroom amenties, and tootbrush too. Big thanks to Shamy who warmly accommodated us on our arrival as well as to the ladies who prepared our breakfast. They ensured that we are well taken care for the whole duratiom of our stay. Water pressure of the shower is great. Hot and cold is working well.

The ambiance outside is not properly maintained. I know it is a small family-owned hotel but they could have made the facade more pleasing. The room does not have coffee, only tea. Room is not that spacious. Shower hose is broken.

Surpassed every expectation. The room was so spacious and so welcoming, everything was arranged perfectly and there's also room service. The bed was extremely comfortable, and there were two bathrooms, one for the toilette and the other for the shower. The terrace is wonderful and the view is breathtaking. They serve breakfast there which is very rich and included in the stay. The hosts are extremely forthcoming and will do everything to make your stay amazing: they will book shuttle and tours for you as well. Mohammed is the best! Lastly, the position is right in the center of Goreme and everything is accessible from there: shops, pharmacy, ATMs, restaurants...

The only thing missing are the blinds in the windows.

The location is good, one needs to hire a car in Cappadocia to go around anyway. There are several shops and restaurants around. The hosts were very nice and friendly. The brekafast is on the terrace with a view of air balloons in the early morning hours. There were limited vegan/vegetarian options but the lady in the kichen was very kind to open a jar of preserved vegetables for me. We had to leave early to catch the flight and the host let us prepare some sandwiches a night before when we asked about it. The room was big enough for three people. A kettle is provided in the room which was very useful for us. We had a comformtable stay.

Fabulous view of the balloons, they come right over the hotel terrace! The breakfast is wonderful, so much effort every morning! This is my second time in Azalea Terrace Hotel and I will always return here if I come back! Great location for all restaurants and tat shops too!! Great little family run hotel!!

There was nothing really I could fault. You don't automatically get a bed/towel change just to note, bit there was no need to anyway for 3 nights, but the staff are so welcoming that you can always request from them if this is something you would prefer.

Comfortable, nice, clean and well equipped hotel in the center of Göreme. Beautiful vegetarian breakfast on the roof with the beautiful terrace overlooking the city is a highlight. The lady preparing the breakfast was very attentive and kind. We chose the cheapest and the smallest room and even though in the bathroom the side screen of the shower was missing (simple shower curtain would have been great) and we had more stuff to charge than available plugs, we found that the room was well designed and we had sufficient space for everything. Despite the central location and windows facing the street, the room was quiet, at least in January when we visited Göreme. The room was always so nicely warm but there is an AC in the room for the summer visits. All recommendations!

The accommodation is close to the city centre in a quiet location, the room is stylishly furnished (we appreciate the open shelves instead of a wardrobe). Breakfast on the rooftop was romantic. Our host was a very funny young guy who welcomed us warmly.

According to the booking.com information the parking should be on the property, but was on the street (admittedly under the cameras). Breakfast was excellent, but could have been an earlier time (breakfast was from 8am). Everyone in Cappadocia wants to leave early for excursions, an earlier breakfast time would be an advantage.

The azalea team made us feel like home. First, Orhan was the best. He took us a tour around the property and invited us their Turkish tea. Then, Safisa had the best hands. She made us the best and really complete breakfast. And finally, Hüseyin and Volcan were really friendly and menciones us the tourists points to visit.
