The hotel staff was very helpful, friendly, honest.... They treated us like its one family members. The room was very nice, big, clean well heated. The bathroom was amazing--ancient roman style, all marble, very large, with a whirlpool tub, giant shower with various adjustable water jets, and everything worked well. There were also two sinks and toiletries. breakfast good. i prefer sweet breakfast to savory. but all in all it was good. the cook, Mrs. Nurcan, treated us like her daughters. And, even though she doesn't speak English, and we don't speak Turkish, we understood each other with gestures and google translate.... :) we loved her and she always pampered us with great Turkish coffee! the location of the hotel fantastic, strategic. with all the stores, restaurants and bars and points of interest nearby. a special thanks goes to the girl at the front desk, Fatma, who took care of arranging all the excursions we chose. i will be forever grateful to her, especially for the hot air balloon ride. Many thanks also to Mr. Mehmet, who took care of making us sandwiches for our return trip. I mean, in context it was all fantastic, magical. I fell in love with Kapadokya.... with everything, from the landscapes, the people, the excursions, the impeccable organizations, the food ... everything! I will definitely go back there

the only note, or rather, suggestion I would make to the facility is that they should put dehumidifiers in the rooms, because in fact in the rooms, when you came back from outside, there was a little bit of a sauna effect. and the bed sheets and pillows and even the clothes felt a little damp. but again, it's a suggestion.

Friendly accomodating staff. Lovely niche property in a decent location. The room had a nice cave feeling to compliment the cappidocia vibe. Roof/restaurant deck was amazing to view the baloons early in the morning. Clean and comfortable. Mehmet was a great host and staff were always accommodating.

Breakfast was decent without being great. Even though its called a cave hotel and the rooms are styled to be cave it is not an actual cave. Though you may pay alot more to get actual cave property. While the room was really nice i could have used a night stand next to bed. There was only one on my wifes side.

This is the perfect property to stay in Goreme if you are there for a couple of nights to do the hot air balloon and other tours. It is right in the center of the commercial town. Everything is close by that you can walk to. The rooms were exactly as they are shown in the pictures. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They work hard to accommodate any request. The owner, Mr. Ali, is a caring and compassionate person. Our youngest child fell ill during the stay. Mr. Ali was courteous and helpful by accommodating our special situation with respect to departure and checkout. Thank you Mr. Ali and the staff, especially the older cleaning lady and Ruqiya the check-in woman. The rooms and bedding are new and very clean. The bathrooms and amenities are great as well. Each room has its own WiFi. Next to the property is a travel agency where I booked the hot air balloon flight for my family of six for $130 ea. I also got the Big Bus open top tour thru the Pinvin Travel agency. It is a reasonable tour, but we didn't get to enjoy it fully due to son's illness. If you want to do the Underground City you have to do the Green Tour as that is not included in the Big Bus tour. We also got tickets for the Turkish Night dinner show at Yasar Baba restaurant in Uchisar. The food was just okay. The dinner show was pretty lame, at least thru the first half. Their seating arrangement in the back does not consider proper viewing for all guests.

Loved everything about the property and their staff. We were late one day for breakfast and the owner asked his staff to still prepare the breakfast for us. They will prepare various type of eggs upon request, but I do think that the breakfast could be a little broader with more items on the buffet. If the property can build a swimming pool you'd not want to look elsewhere. The property next door has a pool. One thing that we missed were hooks or towel hang bars in the bathrooms. There are none.

Big spacious rooms compared to other hotels. Location is spot on, Shops, restaurants and travel agencies for tours are at your doorstep. Taxi stand and coach stop is right outside. Rooms were clean with big private bathrooms and staff were very nice and helpful. Good terrace and hotel front for sitting and relaxing. Would definitely return to this hotel again. The room was a bit too cold for us. Small rugs, so you have to walk on marble flooring. Not many choices for breakfast.

One should know that it is NOT a cave hotel ... and I understand you have to pay more for a cave hotel, so, I'd say it is a good value for money - awesome location - right next to everything you need. Staff is super helpful, good breakfast and overall a decent experience.

Excellent huge room, best location within one minute walk to best restaurants & market... bang opposite the best Indian restaurant Namaste India... owner & staff are excellent & very helpful & friendly... they helped with my hot air balloon booking also... nice breakfast spread with freshly made eggs & omlette... overall excellent experience... highly recommended!!!

Booking.com does not have proper photos of the rooms... I wanted to book Deluxe 4 bed but the photos are mixed with King 4 bed which is confusing.

Other guests hanging dirty clothes outside their rooms. Not a big deal and goreme is very dusty and hot. But hotel could advertise laundry service better and stop people from washing their clothes in the room.. laundry service was cheap and good

First of all I want to thank our host Ali for the warm welcome. Ali did everything he could to make our stay at the hotel as nice as possible. When we arrived at the airport in Kayseri our transport was already waiting on us, we’ve put our luggages in the car and were ready to go to Göreme. Our stay was planned last minute, so we were not sure if we could take place on the hot air balloon flights, but Ali and the team fixed an arrangement for the next morning so we even went on a balloon flight the morning after we arrived. AND IT WAS BEAUTIFULL! Once we arrived at the hotel we were in total disbelief, the hotel looked even better in person then on the internet. We liked the fact that the hotel was located in the centrum of Göreme so, everything we needed was in reach. The hotel is very close to the nice restaurants, shops, travel agencys in the city. Everything you need is in a reach of 5 minutes walking your way. We are very pleased with our stay at Kayra Cave Suites but personally the arrangement was to short for me and i want to come back to stay there for a couple of days to really enjoy Kapadokya to the fullest!

Location is right in the center of Goreme. The room is smallish but beautiful. Clean and with nice furniture. Typical stone cave style, but also minimal, not tacky. The external building facade is stunning, with a little garden. The terrace is also nice. We could see sunset from there. Breakfast is yummy and with a lot of choice. Highly recommended!

We were family of 7 adults staying in 4 double rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well equipped. A good breakfast is served on the rooftop dining area. The owner and his staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very central location in Goreme within easy walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The Goreme Outdoor Museum is just a 20 minute walk.

The only suggestions for improvement would be (i) a faster wi-fi connection in some of the rooms and (2) a better way of allowing guests to control the temperature in their rooms (currently heating is provided by a centrally controlled under floor heating system).
