The hotel was great, comfortable room, very clean and pretty, big bathroom and air conditioner. The breakfast was pretty good, it’s very complete and abundant, really delicious. On the other side we couldn’t used the terrace because of weather conditions but apart from that a really amazing place to stayed and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Would recommend!

The hotel is situated well in the center of all the action in Goreme - bus station, restaurants, souvenir shops and travel agencies. The sunset/sunrise view point is a 15 min walk. The breakfast is cooked right in front of you. The room has a cavy feel and looks exactly as advertised. The bathroom is spacious. The staff helps with anything you need from booking hot air balloon to directions where to go and what to do on your own. There is an observation terrace with swings where you can watch the flying balloons and take pictures.

very cosy cave stone appearance. gardens with roses and organic plants. friendly hosts. family run. beds are huge and comfortable. excellent aircon in room. breakfast is very good. well worth the price during peak summer season. located very close to Goreme town centre but far enough for quietness. hosts were extremely helpful over booking.com chat sharing advice for balloon trip bookings and arranging clothes washing etc. lots and lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

A superb location, the rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is very kind. The breakfast is rich and tasty. The hotel offers access to the terrace, from which you can see the hot air balloons in the mornings when flights are allowed. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops near the hotel.

Our rooms were great and have a nice 'cave-y' feeling. The front desk was very helpful and attentive and constantly made sure everything was going well with our stay. There is a nice terrace where you can sit back and relax and enjoy the views of the valley. The breakfast was very good as well, even though there aren't many different options, everything is cooked fresh when you arrive.

The WiFi could have been better, it was really slow most times and some of our devices had trouble staying connected.

this is an late review but the hotel is excellent, the host is very nice and kind. Im glad that I end up to choose this hotel. definitely will come again I miss turkey so much 😭

Location. A 5 minute walk from the bus station and eateries, 1km away from open air museum. Amazing breakfast and helpful staff when it comes to planning tour.

had the BEST stay here. such a cute hotel, super comfortable bed, central location, extremely clean, amazing breakfast, lovelyyyyy staff and to top it all a great rooftop to see the hot air balloons from! highly recommend

Lucky cave hotel is nicely located, 15 minute walk to the observation point over the Göreme itself and place from where balloons start(almost) each morning. If you are lazy, you can come up at the roof terrace and enjoy flying over the town balloons. Room is warm despite cold nights. Hot water is running immediately after you turn it on. Noise streets are far enough not to disturb your rest!

Rather dull breakfast, though it was quite sufficient for a day of climbing hills. Half the town has no pavement. So cars rise up dust. The street along the canal is half paved too (the closest to the hotel). So your car if you park there will be covered in dust in no time.
