Very welcoming guesthouse owners and staff and homely feel to the guesthouse. Great views from the terrace of surrounding landscape and hot air balloons if you can wake up in the. Lots of lovely fresh food breakfast. A very verdant garden, great for sitting in!

My only complaint is that they could have possibly provided guest with water, particularly as you have to otherwise buy lots of bottled water. There are lots of grocery stores nearby so this isn’t a problem but my concern is actually about the amount of plastic produced. We happened to bring travel mugs so did not need to use many of their disposable cups.

The place itself has a good location, it's next to the center but can't hear the noise of the bars which was a great plus. So we could enjoy tranquility of the cute green garden and wonderfull views from the rooftop. The Pidgeon valley is just 5 minutes of walk. The room was cosy and the heating was working so good at cold nights. The breakfasts were great and the staff were allways helpfull. Special appreciation to Kenan's omnipresent help and his local good-natured spirit.

The owner Kemal was a bit bossy in our opinion. The way how he presented that they 'had to' enter our room without our permition to actualize the TV programming was a bit odd. We gave our contacts to the receptionist so they could easily ask us. The room was nearly untouched so not a big deal at the end of a day. It's just a think of privacy feel...

Kemal’s place was perfect for us, it’s in a good location to explore Cappadocia Kemal was the perfect host, he went above & beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect, his staff were also very friendly & helpful, Kemal booked our airport transfers, balloon ride, horse ride effortlessly, The breakfast was basic but plentiful & you had enough choice each morning, you were offered freshly cooked eggs, fresh fruit etc, If I was ever to return I would definitely stay here again, We had a late flight & was able to store our luggage & sit in the pretty shaded area until our transfer arrived

My husband and I stayed at Kemal’s Guest House in Goreme four nights in late October 2023. Perfect for us: A simple, peaceful, guesthouse within a short, easy walk, to the main restaurant and shop area of town. Barbara and Kemal are wonderful hosts, kind and thoughtful. It was lovely to spend a bit of time talking with them in the garden while petting their gentle dog and his boss, Tigger the cat. The easy, relaxed atmosphere of this guesthouse was a joy! Our room (#24) was located at the end of the 2nd-floor terrace. A good size room with a comfortable bed and sitting area, hardwood floors, and tasteful wood ceiling. Good reading light, table, and electric socket on both sides of the bed. 2 chairs and a table outside each room on the terrace. Lovely view from both the rooftop and the terrace in front of the room, of balloons in the morning, the Cappadocia landscape during the day, and the pretty city lights at night. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, including eggs cooked as you wish, with indoor and garden seating. Kemal’s Guest House is an oasis for the weary traveler.

The view from the rooftop is lovely to watch the hot air balloons in the morning. The location, just slightly outside of the busier city center, and the very nice garden make for a very relaxing breakfast before going out to explore the region. Kemal provided excellent advice, booked a tour for us, and was always very friendly, as was the rest of the staff. We could also leave our bags onsite after check-out and even take a shower in the evening before taking a night bus to our next destination.

Kemal’s House was the perfect stay! A warm welcome. Big room & large bathroom and shower. Very comfortable bed for sleeping. Easy to access off the Main Street, no hills to climb! Most delicious and varied home made breakfast enjoyed in the peaceful garden. Garden settings are rare in Goreme. Here you can really relax, under the Apple trees. Restaurants and Cafes all 2 mins walk. Large Rooftop for balloon sunrise in morning. I loved the calm, quiet oasis at Kemal’s. You can see the balloons fly over. Breakfast blew me away, wonderful. The staff were always available if needed at reception.

1.The front desk staff were very friendly and provided us with lots of information upon check-in. They continued to be helpful throughout our stay, assisting with airport shuttle bookings, transportation info, and discounted tour options. 2.The buffet breakfast was incredibly generous, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. 3.The triple room was spacious and very comfortable.

My friends and I agree that Kemals Guest House was the best hotel we ever stayed in by far. It was cozy and felt like home. Kemal was very accommodative and nice. He let us check in early and check out late as our bus was at night. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is beautiful, there are plants and flowers everywhere. The facility is taken care of very well. The room is very clean. Our room had 2 showers and stone walls which we really liked. If you’re in Cappadocia, stay at kemals house you will not regret it. It’s located 5 minute walk from the bus station and we were picked up and dropped off very easily from all the tours we went on. Kemal was very helpful and guided us throughout our trip. Wish we could have stayed longer there.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kemal's Guest House. Kemal helped us find the right tour of the area, arranged airport transfers, made us laugh with his sense of humor, and was all around an excellent host. Breakfast was delicious, beds comfy, rooftop view was fantastic, and the garden was divine for relaxing.

The reception was wonderful by the Kamel family, Barbara and Cengiz, Kamel made my life easier, organizing a red tour, whirling dervish ceremony, and the fabulous balloon flight, airport transfer, breakfast is excellent, there is a wonderful garden. I will definitely be back next year.
