Good location, 3 minutes walk to the main street of Goreme. Good view of the opposite side caves hotels. Hotair balloons are flying right above the balcony, so close that you can literally see faces of people on the baloon. Great Court yard, with flowers and comfortable yard furniture. Very good and large variety of products for breakfast. Great and helpfull staff. Water, cattle, coffee and tea available in the room. Good air conditioning and flat screen TV + closet. Good mattresses.

Wooden furniture is a bit old, and pillows are not soft. The sofa is extremely old and you can feel the Wooden frame thru the pillows if you try to lay an not sit. The wooden door of the toilet does not lock, and scritches lowedly. Wooden door to the balcony gets stuck and hard to close and open. TV is flat and large but no international channels, only Turkish. The shandalier was missing lamps, so at night not enough light. Overall, all of the above did not bother us much, so we still gave it a 9. Due to location, staff, breakfast and the yard.

What more can I say about Empire Cave Hotel other than what a truly lovely oasis in a beautiful part of Goreme city. I travelled Turkey as solo female, and arrived into Goreme by overnight bus. The very same day the ATM machine in town swallowed my bank card. I had no back up card and only a small amount of cash, and being the weekend there was no banks open. With half of my trip still left I was at a loss as to what to do, upset, and exhausted from travelling 9 hours overnight. Ahmed the manager was very very generous and trusting, shortly after knocking on my hotel room to check on me and aluniso to bring me a large sum of cash to borrow. He even called the banks to try and get my card back. I honestly cannot say what I would have done with out his generosity and kindness. The accommodation itself was lovely, very spacious and clean, and perfect walking distance to everything. There is even a hotel cat named Zeus, a brittish shorthair to keep you company and affection. Thank you Empire Cave Hotel !

The room has alot of space. Even for 3 adult people it seems to work fine. The staff was very attentious and soon has I did my booking asked if I needed anything. Loved the fact when I got back from dinner the room felt so cozy because the central heat was turned on! It's just a very small walk to the very center, and this way you have less noise to worry.

The eggs (omelet like) at breakfast took a long time to be replaced.

Great spacious room and bathroom, very clean, nice welcome snack and tea/coffee provided, location is also wonderful, few minutes from everything you need and want in Goreme (bus, restaurants, viewpoint,bars,etc.). Wonderful people working at reception & breakfast.. Good breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Also great view from the roof. All in all - great choice! Recommend 100%

We stayed in the suite with a private pool, and wow, it was incredible!!! Such a big pool that you can properly swim in, and inside a CAVE! It was such an incredible experience. The bed, room, and bathroom were all just beautiful, and bed was really comfy! The staff were really friendly and helpful. Did our laundry for us for a fee. Breakfast was delicious. Such a special stay. 100% recommend treating yourself to this gorgeous room!!!

The curtains in the pool room are great for privacy, but did get a bit wet on the bottoms. No biggie, to be honest! There was some moss on the ceiling of the pool cave, but of course that's to be expected.

Empire was nicely located away from all the noise but easily walkable to everything. Had adequate parking and the staff was wonderful and communicative before and during our stay.

The credit card machine went down at check in. Allowed us to check in still.

Nice & spacious rooms, great water pressure & very clean. Breakfast was typical Turkish fare, staff were incredibly nice and helpful and booked us lots of activities and excursions. About a 5 minute walk from the centre of town which was convenient and meant the hotel was very quiet. Beautiful garden to chill in!

All activities had to be paid in cash.

The room was actually not that of cave and later we upgraded for a day only by giving additional amount. Swimming pool also not common for all but a single private pool for sultan cave category booking only

Good location with parking, which was our top priority. The hotel is just 5 min walk from the centre. Clean and comfortable room, helpful staff.

Daily cleaning only if you ask of it after breakfast.

Breakfast was really nice and it was a nice property at the bottom of the hill. Definitely good value for money.

There was only one plug socket in the room which was quite inconvinient and the decorations in the rooms were quite outdated and felt like we were staying in a very old house.
