Stayed here for 4 nights with my best friend. The location was right in the middle of the fairy chimneys and 2 minutes to pigeon valley where we walked to Uchistar castle . Town was only a few minutes stroll away. Also able to walk to the open air museum in twenty minutes. Perfect spot. Our room was clean and spacious with great views across the town and surrounding valley. Kettle in room for tea and coffee making, with top up.of condiments and cups of water. Fridge, and bathrobes/slippers. Cleaner in every day. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool area was small but adequate to swim and sunbathe. Guests can buy drinks and food from the bar. We booked our balloon flight with the hotel and it did not disappoint. Also, the hotel is in the perfect spot for seeing balloons flying over. Staff arranged a shuttle back to the airport. I would book and stay here again. Thank you 😊

Nothing, but would suggest a full length mirror, waste bin in the main room and one brighter light or lamp.

Very good location, just next to hiking tracks, beautiful view from balcony, nice pool area, interesting corner for small farm animals and birds, children would love it.

I experienced all the same as on previous negative reviews. And despite of previous negative comments, no improvement has been made. 1) breakfast is really poor, nothing traditional for Turkish cuisine. No fresh juice for breakfast, you have to pay for it extra. 2) no place in room where to put your stuff as lockers are very small and no chairs or table in room. Luckily we discovered curtain hooks where we could hang our clothes. 3) room with jacuzzi is useless as they do not clean the pipes of jacuzzi. Better do not switch on the bubbles, you do not want to experience what is coming out from there.

This hotel was at a great location, not far to walk to the shops and restaurants, we were 10mins away from our hot air ballon ride, it had a great pool which we used after a long day of activities, the staff were great and addressed all our concerns promptly. We will definitely be back with our next group.

Pool was awesome it had a beautiful upstairs deck where our group could take pictures and have a great night gathering together.

We were guest at the end of April, in room 16 in Holiday Cave hotel. The room is authentic, warm, spacious with all necessarities. The property is very interesting, breaking was exptional with a lot of various options. The staff was amazing, very helpful and gave us a lot of advices. Location was perfect, personally the best one. Definitely recommend this hotel with family atmosphere 👌

The location of the hotel is wonderful! Quiet and close to so many off the beaten track hiking trails to explore the fairy chimneys. We also had some of the best views of the balloons from just above the hotel. Our children loved the little caves right behind the hotel to explore. The rooms were very clean, and we loved sitting on the front balcony after a day of exploring. They were also very spacious and comfortable. The restaurant also did great meals downstairs (the actual hotel is about a 5 to 10 min walk downtown to other cafes). There is a higher end kebab restaurant next door also worth exploring. Our kids also loved the petting zoo out front! Amenities overall were great!

Our bathroom had major plumbing issues (flooding during showering and emptying of the tub). We also found the restaurant staff (except one lovely girl) to be quite poor in service. A few mornings the breakfast wasnt replenished, and after a tour group came through earlier (we had to clean our table to sit at) while staff watched. We were a little shocked by the state of the restaurant after this early morning tour came through. We also often had to wait up to 30 mins for a latte/juice for the kids which was not included in the breakfast. Our suggestion is to offer this for free, or even have early morning coffee service to accompany the balloon watching! 🎈

The hotel was really central and in the middle of Göreme. Everything around was at walking distance. The hotel itself is very well-designed with a lot of different cave rooms. We tried the standard and the Troglodytes cave. We preferred the second because of the additional space and the view. The breakfast buffet was very well furnished. You can even see lovely ladies preparing local sandwiches at request. The best was also the staff. Extremely nice and helpful. A special thanks to Ali who arranged so many things for us. (Tours & Transfers). We highly recommend this hotel and we will come back with great pleasure!

The mattresses were soft. So if you are the kind of people who appreciate firm ones, you might find it difficult to have a good rest.

Breakfast was amazing, with lots of options and very fresh. Super nice and friendly staff. They are happy to help you arrange an activity, airport transport, cars... whatever you need.

The bedroom exudes a cave-like charm with its rugged, earthy walls. However, the walls constantly flake, leaving a gritty residue of sand throughout the room and even on the bed. Maybe this is part of the charm... I didn't enjoy the feeling

Breakfast spread was great. The pool, it's seating area, the terrace and the the surrounding areas to relax in were big and very kid friendly (bunnies in cages, etc). Our room for 3 was big and had a balcony. It looked like you could take small hikes and trails right from the hotel area to explore some of the rock formations.

Not understanding the layout of Goreme having never been there before, this hotel was not in the main area where many of the cave hotels are. This meant parking was easy and everything was still close. One lesson learned, most of the hotels say they are Cave hotels or have "cave" in their name, but most of the rooms are not in caves, very few are. They do have a bar, but it doesn't serve alcohol.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Cave Hotel, the pools are clean and a very nice addition to the property. There is also a beautiful garden seating area (where you can enjoy your Turkish tea if you choose so) with a little pet zoo for children to enjoy. Our kids loved this Hotel and it was hard getting them to leave. The breakfast was full of many choices and a nice start for the day. Definitely get up early and head to the roof top sitting area to see the sunrise and the hot air balloons. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. Dinner over by the pool at the hotel’s restaurant was good (especially the salads). Within walking distance to shopping and other restaurants. We enjoyed the walk to the gift shops after dinner.

Pool area and food was great. Views watching the balloons come over the town was amazing and central point of hotel is within walking distance to town. Just perfect. The main guy particularly, as well as other staff at reception were fantastic, and always so keen to assist us.
