Our stay at Sultan Cave Sweets was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in the breathtaking landscape of Cappadocia, this gem offers an unparalleled blend of Turkish hospitality, exquisite cuisine, and mesmerizing views that make for an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm of the cave-style architecture and the warmth of the staff. The restaurant is a true highlight, serving authentic Turkish cuisine that delights the senses with rich flavors and perfectly curated dishes. Every meal felt like a celebration of tradition, from the succulent kebabs to the decadent baklava, all paired with the region’s finest wines and Turkish tea. What truly sets Sultan Cave Sweets apart is its unmatched views of Cappadocia. Watching the sunrise as hot air balloons float across the sky was a surreal experience, but the true pinnacle of our stay was the New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacle—a dreamlike display of lights illuminating the fairy chimneys, creating a magical atmosphere we will cherish forever. The combination of luxury, authenticity, and impeccable service ensures that we will stay again and again. If you’re looking for the perfect blend of culinary excellence, breathtaking scenery, and pure enchantment, Sultan Cave Sweets is a must-visit.

The view from the rooftop terrace is absolutely stunning! The overall atmosphere is very beautiful, and breakfast is rich and delicious. The restaurant offers an excellent panoramic view! All staff members, are very friendly and welcoming. Additionally, we enjoyed access to another pool and Garden within the hotel group, which was an amazing bonus! We truly enjoyed our stay here. We participated in the “KING'S VALLEY MORNING TOUR & ORGANIC BREAKFAST!” and loved it! Our guide, Shams Aliyeva was very enthusiastic and friendly, Explain the attractions and history to us in detail. We also had a great time chatting, very grateful for her guidance.

The only small downside was that the shower space was a bit too small; taller or broader individuals might find it quite cramped for movement. This might be due to our room type (we stayed in the Fairy Chimney Suite room). Also, our room didn’t have air conditioning; it wasn’t hot, but a bit stuffy. The plastic fan provided some help, but I think the fan’s quality and taste could be improved.
"It really looks out of place in the beautiful and atmospheric cave house !"

First thing first, the staff were incredibly helpful, since the check-in process to helping us book the activities. There were so many tour agencies but we would not know which one is good. So we booked everything through the hotel, the reception lady was very helpful, organized everything. All the activities were great fun. The room is large, especially the bathroom. It also came with complimentary snacks and gifts. The view from the hotel was incredible as well as the wonderful restaurant. We always enjoyed the terrace which offer amazing views of the city.

Since the hotel is probably the highest hotel in the city... it's quite difficult to reach. You either need a car or it will be quite a tough walk from the city center.

I was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of our stay. First, the hotel’s prime location—steps from major attractions yet blissfully quiet at night—made sightseeing effortless and maximized our limited time in the city. Second, the staff’s professionalism and genuine warmth set a new benchmark for hospitality: from the seamless, efficient check-in to their proactive, concierge-level recommendations for dining and transport, every interaction left us feeling valued. The guest rooms were spotless, with meticulous daily housekeeping, high-quality linens, and thoughtful touches such as bottled water and a well-stocked coffee station that were replenished without fail. Most memorable was the surprise birthday cake delivered to our room, despite our never mentioning the occasion—an unexpected gesture that demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to anticipating guests’ needs. Taken together, these elements created a truly exceptional experience, and I would enthusiastically recommend this property to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and five-star service.

Sultan Cave Suites is the kind of place you stay at once and rave out forever. The property is stunning and peaceful. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner are traditional but still have something for everyone, and were some of the best food we had on our trip. The kind staff helped us book airport transfers and tours seamlessly. They made our experience. We stayed in the fairy chimney suite, which I cannot recommend more! The experience was one of a kind. After a long day of exploring the underground city, staying in a fairy chimney and being incredibly comfortable is the perfect experience.

We had a nice stay in Sultan Cave suites. The hotel, its design inside the room and the outside as well as its terrace are really beautiful and they create the magic atmosphere specific to Cappadocia. The room and bathrooms are spacious and definitely equipped with everything needed. We had a standard room at the ground floor with a big door window and large common terrace. Loved the room decor however few things that bothered us were: we found the bed and pillows uncomfortable and the room was very warm despite we opened to door to have some air. The room was of course equipped with an air conditioner however as we preferred not to use it, the warmth kept us from properly resting. Also, the noise isolation was poor and the curtains were not sufficiently blocking the light making it difficult to sleep in. The staff is very friendly and helpful - available to help with all what you need, they propose several activities and services - we benefited from the airport shuttle transfer at an extra cost that was well organised and at a reasonable price. They also have some partnerships with balloon tour companies for which they provide some discounts and we were very happy with their company suggestion (Turquaz balloons) with which we had a great experience. We had the breakfast included in the room price and it was delicious. Loved all the variety proposed from salty to sweet and even some uncommon options so really great breakfast options. Their terrace is very good to watch the balloons (early morning) and sunsets, and they also create the perfect vibe that goes with it, from the good music to some very instagramable decor plus their terrace is open even to outside guests. All in all, I would recommend staying at this hotel!

Hotel location is great. Beautiful views and very close to the city center. Our room was inside a traditional fairy chimney. It was nice and clean. The service was above and beyond. Took care of our every need (travel, hotel reservations, balloon ride etc.). When our balloon ride was cancelled due to weather, helped us find an alternative a few days later. They recommended the King’s valley breakfast, which came as a perk of the room. We decided to try it out and we were glad that we did. It involved a mini hike in a gorgeous valley, a breakfast buffet with fresh organic food and hot home made Gözleme. We dined twice at the on premise restaurant Seten. Stunning views and good food. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

We felt totally welcome and very comfortable. Our request for a room with a terrace was fulfilled, which we absolutely appreciated. We could see the balloons from our terrace. Dreamlike. They also organized a breakfast and a Turkish evening for us. Everything worked out perfectly. On the day of our departure, we were already at the airport when we noticed that we were missing a cell phone. I called the reception who responded immediately, looked for the cell phone and called a cab to bring it to us. The cell phone arrived minutes before the last call. We will definitely be back. Thank you very much for this great experience.

I had an amazing stay at Sultan Cave Suites in Cappadocia. The room was beautifully decorated and even came with a thoughtful snack plate. The service was top-notch — they let me check in early at 12 noon, which was such a relief after traveling. What really stood out was the morning setup: the staff arranged a lovely breakfast table for guests to enjoy the sunrise balloon view, making it fair and relaxed instead of a photo-taking scramble. The view, the food, and the whole vibe were unforgettable. Don’t miss Seten Restaurant on-site — their kebabs are absolutely delicious!

The overall stay was wonderful, but the TV was a letdown — it was more like a computer monitor, too small for the room, and unfortunately not working during my stay. It didn’t affect my experience too much since I spent most of the time enjoying the views, but it's worth noting for future guests.

The staff and location of the Hotel is great. I loved the interiors and the styling and being there made me feel very special and part of the old world charm. The breakfast is one of the best ones I have ever had in a Hotel. The offering and choice was superb.

They gave a room that was 1m from a building / renovation site. I only realised this after i had already unpacked my suitcases. I could not open my side curtain, and the noise lever was off the charts. I did complain the next morning and was offered another room but with only 1 night left I declined.
