Our stay at Sultan Cave Sweets was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in the breathtaking landscape of Cappadocia, this gem offers an unparalleled blend of Turkish hospitality, exquisite cuisine, and mesmerizing views that make for an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm of the cave-style architecture and the warmth of the staff. The restaurant is a true highlight, serving authentic Turkish cuisine that delights the senses with rich flavors and perfectly curated dishes. Every meal felt like a celebration of tradition, from the succulent kebabs to the decadent baklava, all paired with the region’s finest wines and Turkish tea. What truly sets Sultan Cave Sweets apart is its unmatched views of Cappadocia. Watching the sunrise as hot air balloons float across the sky was a surreal experience, but the true pinnacle of our stay was the New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacle—a dreamlike display of lights illuminating the fairy chimneys, creating a magical atmosphere we will cherish forever. The combination of luxury, authenticity, and impeccable service ensures that we will stay again and again. If you’re looking for the perfect blend of culinary excellence, breathtaking scenery, and pure enchantment, Sultan Cave Sweets is a must-visit.

I had an amazing stay at Sultan Cave Suites in Cappadocia. The room was beautifully decorated and even came with a thoughtful snack plate. The service was top-notch — they let me check in early at 12 noon, which was such a relief after traveling. What really stood out was the morning setup: the staff arranged a lovely breakfast table for guests to enjoy the sunrise balloon view, making it fair and relaxed instead of a photo-taking scramble. The view, the food, and the whole vibe were unforgettable. Don’t miss Seten Restaurant on-site — their kebabs are absolutely delicious!

The overall stay was wonderful, but the TV was a letdown — it was more like a computer monitor, too small for the room, and unfortunately not working during my stay. It didn’t affect my experience too much since I spent most of the time enjoying the views, but it's worth noting for future guests.

We had a lovely stay at Sultan Cave Suites! The hotel itself is charming, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. That said, I will note that some of the photos on Booking.com can be a bit misleading. We originally booked a Junior Suite, but the room we were given was not in the pictures and was much smaller and darker than expected, with no view. However, the ladies at the front desk were absolutely wonderful—they immediately upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge, which was a significant improvement. The service throughout our stay was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet—outstanding in both quality and variety! Overall, despite the initial hiccup, we had a fantastic experience. The hospitality, atmosphere, and stunning location make Sultan Cave Suites a great choice for a stay in Cappadocia!

The breakfast was among the most amazing I have ever seen. The check-in was great, the view was outstanding, the service was outstanding. We took advantage of the balloon ride, the hammam, the Green tour, the local hiking, the restaurant at the establishment, and the opportunity to watch the dervishes. Our experience was top-notch and wonderful.

There was nothing that we didn't like. We loved the room, which was toasty warm. The view from the Sultan Cave Suites was outstanding. I would have to say this is one of the best places to stay in Goreme and a great place to view the balloons in the morning. The breakfasts were amazing!

Everything about my stay at Sultan was excellent. The breakfast had a good selection buffet, the rooms were cozy and warm, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the best part was the rooftop terrace which we were able to enjoy in the morning and during sunset time for a drink. I had booked this property after seeing so many instagram reels about the hot air balloons flying over the hotel’s rooftop but unfortunately, during my stay, the weather conditions did not allow for them to take off the entire week. Felt a bit gutted but again, I got to fully enjoy the hotel and its facilities. Guests at Sultan are allowed to use the swimming pool at the adjacent hotel which is a partner hotel but I didn’t do it - I visited in November and the weather was cold. As Sultan is located on the hilltop, we get amazing views over Göreme. The center is also a short walk away (about 9 min). You should visit!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sultan Cave Suites! The location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of the city. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making our experience even more special. Our room with a balcony provided a stunning vantage point to admire Göreme’s beauty. The breakfast buffet was both beautiful and delicious, with a great variety of options. Unfortunately, due to the snow, we couldn’t experience the iconic morning terrace view with the balloons, but we can only imagine how magical it must be. Definitely a place we’d love to return to!

Parking was a bit challenging, and we wished the hotel staff had been more attentive in assisting or handling it for us. Still, it wasn’t a major issue, and overall, the experience was fantastic. Definitely a place we’d love to return to!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the restaurant located at the hotel food was very good. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. I tried a Turkish bath for the first time which was amazing and very affordable. The city was within walking distance. It snowed the entire time I visited but it was so beautiful and I am still grateful to have stayed at such a beautiful place. I will be back.

Nothing that I disliked. It was a bummer that I visited when it snowed the entire time so I did not get to enjoy the hot air balloons and that's why I wanted to visit Cappadocia :(. I definitely look forward to visiting during the summer to enjoy the full experience.

The hotel is located near the center of Goreme (about 10min walk) and about a 30min walk from the open air museum. It’s a great location. The terrace has some of the best views since it’s on a hill. A large breakfast spread is provided and delicious! The hotel and terrace are great for photos. The room we booked looked like the one in the photos and is actually bigger than we initially thought. Staying in a cave was a great experience!

We loved the property!! Note, it is located near the center on a hill so if you have trouble walking up a hill or cobble stones it may not be as accessible.

A very warm welcome from the staff at Sultan Cave Suites. Our suite was very comfortable and we felt very at home here. It was great that we could park our car right outside the hotel. The staff were very informative and helpful about excursions that we might want to book. Anything we asked reception for (an iron, or bottle opener) they brought right away to our room. The hotel is very beautiful and the views from the roof terrace are magical.

Due to the style of the building there is not really any soundproofing for the room so if guests are making noise outside the rooms early in the morning its very loud. We also didn’t think the restaurant lived up to expectations based on the reviews we had read, the staff were not as friendly as the reception staff and the atmosphere felt a bit tense. This made it harder to enjoy the meal, the food was ok but it was quite expensive so we expected a more welcoming and relaxing experience for the price we paid.

The views from the roof terrace, watching the balloons in the morning, it was spectacular! The balloons came right down so close to the hotel. The bedrooms were lovely but had poor lighting, , the restaurant was fabulous, the roof terrace bar was great. The atmosphere in the bar roof top terrace in the evenings was really good. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The complimentary breakfast and trip to the organic farm was wonderful. IBRAHIM who took us was great!

A bit too busy in the mornings with guests from other hotels, ( I guess from the same hotel chain), going into the roof terrace in the mornings to watch balloons. I would have thought that the roof terrace would have been exclusive to Sultan cave hotel guests only as we were paying a premium rate to stay there. Too many people all dressed up and queuing to take instragram photos on the "fake" set up breakfast at sunrise.
