We had an amazing stay at Mithra cave hotel. The hotel is small and cozy and all members of the staff were so friendly and did their absolute best to accommodate us. We stayed in their honeymoon suite which was an experience on its own and had a photo shoot on their private rooftop terrace which ended up in a proposal and the setting could not have been more perfect! Location is excellent. Bar is great!! Lovely views. Good staff willing to help. Good at helping organise tours and public shuttle.

Only 1 small bottle of water in the room, no option to refill it. It was very difficult to them buy water from reception or the bar. The rooms were not fully cleaned. I know the cave rooms can be a bit dusty/sandy, but the sand was piled up in the bathroom. Piles in the shower and a few in the corners on the counters. There was also a dirty used tissue in the room which wasn’t cleaned up. Breakfast was okay - could be more fruit. I just think there are some small things they could do to improve the hotel and make it a bit more worth the price. I.e water availability.

good location, 10 mins walking distance to the center of goreme with lots of shops and restaurants. the view is fabulous! love the hotel with several nice IGable public area, several terrace. staff is helpful. can book airport to hotel shuttle at 15 euro per person, and arrange different kinds of activities e.g. hot air balloon, horse ride, camel ride etc

no ventilation and bad smell at the bathroom sometimes, weak water pressure for shower, poor air conditioning even shown 17c on the air conditioner but still not very cool, hair dryer not working well.

Very unique experience. Staff were extremely helpful. Had a good spread of vegetarian condiments and salads for breakfast Veranda restaurant staff helped us with vegetarian food.

There was no conceirage available at the time of check out. Had to carry our luggage down. This was extremely difficult considering that rooms are in caves with steep and narrow steps. We had to help an old couple who was finding it very difficult as well. Minor issues. Toiletries didn't include normally inclusions in 4 star hotels such as dental and shaving kits..

Everything was great, apart from the transfer the hotel organised for us back to the airport. We informed them of our flight number, time etc. They informed us we would be picked up at 6am. Then we proceeded to drive around Cappadocia picking other people up until 7am. Meaning when we arrived at the airport we had a total of 2 minutes to get through security and check in causing us to almost miss our flight. If you’re considering a transfer back to the airport, I would suggest you organise a private taxi to save the stress.

Great view to see the famous Cappadocia hot air balloons. Cave hotel rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet has good food selections.

Staff does not aware on the activity of the city. We asked the staff if there’s a fireworks for the new year and he said no. So, we went to our rooms and put on our sleep wear then after a few minutes we heard the fireworks so we run outside with sleeper and sleep wear to see it! We could have plan watching the fireworks better if we got the right information or if he doesn’t know, just simply say, “I don’t know or I’m not sure” would be a better answer to our inquiry.

Honestly, I had booked this hotel just for terrace view of hot air balloon. But this hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms are huge, pictures don't do justice. Bathroom also had a jacuzzi :) Breakfast(included) and lunch/dinner(excluded) are delicious. Hotel staff is very helpful. When we checked out, Uber couldn't find us a taxi and we were almost about to miss our bus to Antalya. I had a chat with hotel staff, he quickly called taxi. We had 4 luggage bags which were not fitting in the taxi, so hotel staff added 1 luggage bag in the hotel staff car and asked them to drop it off at our bus stop. They went above and beyond to help us tbh.

I wouldn't say I didn't like it but it was lack of my research tbh, this hotel doesn't have an elevator(understandably as it is a cave hotel). It might be a challenge for people with accessibility needs or senior citizens. And surrounding roads are also very steep slope. My mom who is a senior citizen with knee issues found it difficult to climb those stairs. That being said, once in the room and experiencing the hospitality she loved the hotel. Even she'd like to visit again.

Beautiful rooms. Very friendly staff. Views are unreal from hotel. Restaurant on site is very good. Breakfast was quite good. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Clean rooms. We witnessed a group that was not happy about an excursion that they had booked through the hotel and they were acting in a very rude manner to the staff. The staff were always professional during the entire event. Impressed by the professionalism the staff displayed and patience in a difficult situation.

There is a spot designated for those amazing balloon photos on the deck near the restaurant. There is a line from other guests to take pictures in that spot when the balloons are flying, but that is how it goes for amazing photo spots.

The hotel is very nice! Here are some of the things I liked: 1. The breakfast had a variety of food and drinks and everything was delicious. 2. The rooms were comfortable but the bathroom is small and the shower leaks. 3. The check-in process was quite slow. They don't give you the keys until you hear a mandatory talk so they can sell you tours. I would have loved for them to be more flexible about that. After such a long trip, all you want to do is get back and rest. 4. The hotel's facilities and views are beautiful, it's like being in a storybook. 5. The staff was friendly. 6. The location is recommended, close to everything.

The attitude of the staff when checking in and how they try to force you to buy a tour, they put too much pressure on you and if you don't buy they stop being friendly.
