We were greeted by Huseyin when we arrived. He was gracious and generous with his explanation of the property and the services offered. Our room was clean, interesting in design because it was in a cave and full of light. The breakfast was a big surprise. The number of different delicious treats was just overwhelming. You wanted to try everything on display. Bonus we were also offered an omelette on top of all the other items. The staff were lovely and gracious. Huseyin, our host came to the table after we were done with breakfast and offered us touring advice. We did it all. The location of the breakfast service was located on the top so the views over the valley were spectacular. We were getting ready in our room at 5:00 am to go out to watch the balloons when one of the associates (name I forgot) came with try of sweets and two cups of coffee and announced that he would tell us the best places to view the 175 balloons that would rise that morning. We were completely overcome by the kind and thoughtful gesture. Our stay wrapped up with a bag containing breakfast for our journey back to the airport. What a wonderful place to stay.

Sora Cave hotel is a wonderful hotel, I recommend everyone to stay there. it’s a new hotel, that’s why everything is new, clean and looks exactly like in the pictures. Huseyin, the owner of the hotel, was very nice and helpful. We definitely will stay at this hotel next time.

It was a wonderful and unforgettable time: a luxurious room in a peaceful and quiet place, that was kept perfectly clean and tidy every day by the hotel staff, with a beautiful view from the window, a huge bed, air condition (with good working heating) and a spacious bathroom with a large shower cabin and a great bathtub allowing to feel cosy. The breakfast was exceptionally delicious (guests can choose from a wide variety of dishes and drinks for every taste) on a covered, warm terrace, where the manager of the hotel was always kindly greeting us. From the bottom of our hearts we would like to express our special gratitude and appreciation to the hotel manager, who was sincere caring for her guests! When she found out that we were allergic to many types of foods by noticing that we were eating very selectively during the breakfast, she asked what we are allowed to eat. And all the following days special dishes were prepared for us, so we never stayed hungry. A real pleasant surprise was the birthday greetings from the hotel (since our trip coincided with the celebration of the birthday of one of us): after returning to the hotel that day we found a postcard in our room, with best wishes written in our native language, as well as a bottle of delicious red wine with snacks as a gift.

The host was the nicest and kindest guy. Overall that was the best hotel experience in a long time in Turkey. The rooms are cozy, clean and authentic, the breakfast was just amazing. We were leaving this place in a great mood.

Restaurants on the streets are pricey, so get an advice from the host.

The host at the hotel was very special. Sehir went above and beyond to answer all questions that we had and if she did not know the answer to it, she got back to us. The breakfast was good and the overall experience in the cave hotel was really special. Sehir was very kind when she found out that I was lactose intolerant, she actually brought me milk from her own home so that I could enjoy a cuppa whenever I wanted one.

The only issue we had was the fact that the television in the room did not work and because of the location of the room, the free wifi did not work at all. We had to constantly go out of the room either to the breakfast area or the reception to access the wifi.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Sora Cave Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Seher, who is incredibly sweet and full of genuine warmth. She made us feel right at home, and her hospitality added such a personal touch to our experience. The room itself had such a unique and cozy vibe — it’s one of those places that stays with you long after you leave. Every detail felt thoughtfully put together, and the atmosphere was just magical. Breakfast was amazing — fresh, delicious, and served with care. You can really feel the love and attention the staff put into every aspect of the service. We love everything especially seher

Absolute stunning hotel with amazing cave rooms and the best staff. I don't know where to start...our room was very spacious. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to sleep in a cave. The staff is absolutely amazing. Hüseyin, Cihan and all the fantastic ladies were always there to assist with everything. They gave us information about what to do, where to go, made an amazing breakfast, chatted with us about everything and organized transfers and balloon bookings - you cannot find kinder people.

I don't have anything to complain about. Go there and experience perfect Turkish hospitality!

We felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived at the hotel. Seher the hotel manager came out to meet us at the front door and helped us to carry our suitcases in. As we were staying four nights, Seher took the initiative to offer us a larger room so we would be more comfortable during our stay. She also gave us some brilliant suggestions on what we could do during our visit and we enjoyed all of the activities and restaurants that she recommended. We were also greeted every morning by such lovely breakfast cooked fresh by hotel staff Tugba. It took me a while to find a suitable hotel to stay at and this hotel was one of the few or not the only hotel I came across that didn’t have any negative reviews at all. I’m so glad I listened to the reviews and chose to stay here. We had so much fun, and our trip was made even more enjoyable by the people at Sora Cave Hotel.

Our stay in Cappadocia at the Sora Cave Hotel was wonderful. Breakfast was great, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff was superb. Everyone was genuinely nice and welcoming - perhaps more than any other place we have stayed. The views from the upper patio were amazing. We arranged multiple private tours and dinners through the property owner, Huseyin. The guides spoke excellent English, were very knowledgeable about the history, culture, and religions of Turkey and beyond. The restaurants and activities he arranged were the best. This was one of the most memorable trips we have experienced - and we travel quite frequently.

There are good teams, there are great teams, and once in a while you have the pleasure of interacting with an exceptional team; Seher, Ali, & Tugba are in the exceptional category! And yes, the hotel itself is really, really nice, but our memories will always be of our new friends we met at this hotel. From Ali drawing us a hand map showing us his favorite local trek, to Tugba preparing a great breakfast each day, or Seher simply being the consummate professional and helpful in every regard - even after she did a lot of work, and we opted to not go with a potential option for an extended tour. She even helped us sort out some laundry needs after we ran into a challenge. The overall hospitality and customer-focus was above and beyond - truly. Often, the longer you stay at a place the quicker the mystic wears off. At Sora Cave, we found just this opposite. Each day (we spent 5 nights here) our experience was enhanced and grew as our relationships grew. The facilities are great. Excellent clean room, good wifi, nice terrace for breakfast (somewhat limited view but very comfortable). Of course the cats are great, the staff make a great Turkish coffee, and even the western drip coffee offered at breakfast is pretty darn good. We booked the green tour through Seher as well as the Whirling Dervish show; both were excellent recommendations with good companies, and the price was very fair without the often seen excessive “commission” markup when booking through hotels that we have experienced in Turkiye. To be clear, we are happy to pay a reasonable commission as everyone is providing a service and should be compensated, but we have also seen some pretty massive mark-ups, and we always find that a bit disingenuous and unfair. Would we recommend Sora Cave Hotel? Absolutely we would — with no hesitation. This has been one of our most memorable stays in a long history of travel.
