Nice hotel with a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the hot air ballons. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They can arrange a lot of activities for Cappadocia. Breakfast is divers with a lot of tasty options. Service at breakfast was excellent. We had a kingroom which was beautiful.

The rooms are a bit dated, especially the showercabins are in need of replacement. There is also no ventilationsystem in the bathroom. And good to know there is only a rainshower in the bathroom no showerhead. A lounge inside the hotel when the weather is bad would be nice.

The staff was lovely, very friendly and accommodating. We had the suite, so our bath tub overlooked everything. It was beautiful.

The bar was limited, no cocktails, very basic. Also the bathtub took over an hour to fill, very low water pressure.

roada outside hotel is under construction, they are blocked so not possible to park near hotel. the alley ways are hard to navigate if you choose to self drive. we booked 2 rooms separately, not possible to stay in same room, had to move, also not possible to negotiate late checkout, must be gone by 11am.

We stayed here three nights with my wife for our honeymoon. Rooms were original and spacious, breakfast was rich, staff were polite, and the main center is only a 7-8 minute downhill walk. They have valet service for your car, which was convenient. Coming to this city, you must have a car, or you should rent it. Great views from the terrace; you just have to wake up early for balloons! Overall everything was high caliber for the price we paid, hence Divan Cave is a solid 9, but I marked it up to 10 because they did something extraordinary; we somehow didn't have proper blinds for windows in the grand suite, which means that you'd wake up with the sun, but after our request they immediately installed new blinds to all windows within the same day, and changing a major aspect of the room at such short notice is some exceptional customer service for sure. I am not hesitating when I am recommending this location to any couple for a memorable holiday.

Really not much to tell, but if I must: No restaurant within the hotel, no lactose-free milk or food (in breakfast), no soia option. Extra requests are a bit overpriced.

The amenities in the room were very thoughtful and had almost everything you would want including a sewing kit. Although the drain in the bath tub in my room I think might have been broken as it was quite hard to plug it, but eventually we got there. The rooftop view was great, especially in the mornings when the hot air balloons are flying across the town. Although, there are also many other rooftop top views right next to this one in which might be at a lower price? The breakfast in the morning had a great spread and had proper honey from honey combs in which I’ve never seen before, definitely great quality produce. This accommodation is situated up the hill, so a slight incline to get to but is approximate 6-7 minutes walk to the main centre. It is a nice place to stay but also on the pricier side.

It was our first time visiting Cappadocia and we were looking for a luxury cave room experience with an authentic Turkish rooftop terrace. The customer service at the hotel was exceptional - very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Even when we had checked out, they still displayed the same faultless level of service. We had requested to move to a quieter room and the hotel provided us with an upgrade. They were also very helpful in arranging airport transfers and Ferhad assisted us with our luggage to our room and throughout the hotel. He made us feel very welcome. The breakfast terrace (separate from the rooftop terrace) had a beautiful view and offered a great selection of traditional Turkish breakfast, overlooking the beautiful Göreme. The hotel itself is located at the most elevated part of the town and their rooftop terrace is spread over three floors - it offers the most amazing view of the hot air balloons at sunrise and is spacious enough for guests to take pictures without feeling crammed. They also offered free Turkish tea throughout our stay!

I love everything about this place. Perfect staff, perfect location, perfect food. Abdullah, Eliz and all staff are very helpful and friendly. Even if they cant speak in English they will try using google to help us. We book all our activities (ATV and Hotair balloons) through Divan, and it is legit and trusted. During out hot air balloons activities i lost my phone, and abdullah help me until i get my phone back. He was very committed to get my phone back. Many thx to him! Their breakfast awesome and we looking forward every day for breakfast! Chef is friendly and willing to explain the dishes. They also help us find “dubai chocolate” , send personally to our room. Definitely will repeat staying here! Oh yeah! Abdullah suggest to us to eat at Seten Restaurant and WaAllah delicious, chef kiss! Incredible

Buffet Breakfast was delicious ranging from hot meals to pastries and fruit. The room was open planned with a huge king size bed that stepped down to the living room area which had an open fireplace. The bathroom had both a spa bath and shower We had a little outdoor balcony that partly overlooked Cappadocia

The Divan Hotel is situated on a VERY steep hill (to accomodate the beautiful views). Unfortunately they do not do room service.

EVERYTHING! The cave room was outstanding, the location of the hotel was very nice, the terrace area is lovely. Last but not the least the staff! They were exceptional. Pleasant, friendly and so welcoming. All the staff in the hotel were amazing but i want to highlight Eliz.. by far the most accommodating person ive met in the hotel industry.. she did everything she could to give me the room i wanted, tours booking, transportation.. just name it. Two thumbs up for Eliz and the Divan cave house team
