We had an absolutely amazing stay at Taskonak Hotel! The atmosphere at the hotel felt extremely cosy, warm, and welcoming. The hotel offered beautiful views from the rooftop, especially in the morning when we could see the hot air balloons. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful throughout our stay! Breakfast was amazing, with a good variety of fresh options and the rooftop seating made it even more enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was also great — quiet but still close enough to walk to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. We truly loved our time here and would definitely stay at Taskonak Hotel again!

Loved this hotel, it was by far the best on our 2 month trip in Türkiye and Europe. Location was perfect, slightly uphill to have an uninterrupted view of the balloons and town. The staff were lovely and made the best breakfast I've eaten in a long time. Not to mention the beautiful terrace and rooftop to eat it in. Breakfast was amazing, a huge Mezze style meal with variety everyday. Plus eggs cooked to order. The room was so well appointed and comfortable with cave features in the bathroom. Underfloor heating was a welcome surprise. The rooftop terrace was the reason we booked and it did not disappoint. We were up there every sunrise and sunset to enjoy the view and sound of the call to prayer echoing through town.

Our stay was More than we could have asked for! I looked around at multiple places before booking and so glad we chose here! The cave suit was great sized with a massive bath as well! the rooftop is exactly as pictured with excellent views of the balloons, the breakfast is so yummy and has different choices everyday including made to order omelettes! But the best of all was the hotel owners who is a married couple a local who grew up in goreme and his wife who is Australian, they are so happy to chat to you about goreme their life and give you the best tour guide advice including personalised hiking trails, local bus routes, booking in activities and gives you and advice on how to best utilise your time! I could not speak more highly of this Taskonak !

Nothing it was exactly what you’d expect from an authentic looking cave hotel.

Our stay at Taskonak was superb from start to finish! We arrived at around 5pm and were told our balloon ride wouldn’t be going ahead for the following day but Angela had already booked a balloon ride for the day after! The bed was really comfortable and the room was equipped with an AC, a fridge, private bathroom & a TV connected to WiFi with Netflix, Disney+ and Prime video. The WiFi was also really fast and reliable. It’s approx a 5 min walk to the Main Street in Goremë from the property. The breakfast is also great and the chef can make you fried, scrambled eggs or an omelette at your request. If we return to Goremë we’ll be staying here. Angela is wonderful & we had lots of great chats with her over breakfast. She truly bent over backwards to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We’re so grateful! The location was excellent. There are so many similar hotels but this one was truly very good value for money. The breakfasts were amazing … I looked forward to the delicacies every morning. It was immaculately clean and staff were super obliging and courteous. It was the best perfect location. 200m from main road but steep enough to get the height you need for visual impact of the breathtaking surroundings! Angela you got everything to a wow!!

There was nothing not to like at all! It could perhaps have cookies and tea available in the common area in the late afternoons!

This hotel was really great. Angela checked us in and she was fab. Super friendly and super helpful. She gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and stuff to do in Göreme. She also helped us book the balloon flight (we had a cancellation on the day planned). All staff were really lovely. Rooms were spot on for what we needed them for. Breakfasts were delicious. Couldn’t fault our time here.

I wish the cushions were out on the terrace. But I believe they were packed away due to the stormy weather we had during our stay.

Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect! The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed. From the first message from the hotel confirming the booking the check-out, everything was excenent: Angela and the team truly made me feel welcomed. Any request they did assist me with, either it's pick up, or hot air balloon booking. Room was huge, with a cute sitting area in the courtyard, super clean and comfortable. And the rooftop! It deserves 10 stars itself. Thank you! And I do recommend this property if you are lost in all the options in the area.

Was a bit warm for me, but open window helped

Fantastic location, saw the balloons overhead in the morning. Great terrace to see the city. Very good breakfast. Staff was very attentive. Owner came around and introduced herself to all the guests. Made us to go sandwiches because we were leaving before breakfast. Rooms were big with huge bathrooms and tubs. Price was very fair for the area.

Internet was spotty outside of room, especially on patio. Receptionist was looking into it.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Best breakfast buffet in our Turkish journey, and lovely ladies would even make omelets or scrambled eggs for us. Our room (in a cave) was huge, as well as the bathroom, with a giant bath tub (although we didn't use it) and a double shower. The balloon flight arranged by the hotel was fairly priced and with a reliable company. Our driver for a one day private tour (Mohamed) was really nice, although he didn't speak much English, but we managed to communicate via Google translator.

They charged us 50 € for paying with credit card.
