Our stay was More than we could have asked for! I looked around at multiple places before booking and so glad we chose here! The cave suit was great sized with a massive bath as well! the rooftop is exactly as pictured with excellent views of the balloons, the breakfast is so yummy and has different choices everyday including made to order omelettes! But the best of all was the hotel owners who is a married couple a local who grew up in goreme and his wife who is Australian, they are so happy to chat to you about goreme their life and give you the best tour guide advice including personalised hiking trails, local bus routes, booking in activities and gives you and advice on how to best utilise your time! I could not speak more highly of this Taskonak !

Nothing it was exactly what you’d expect from an authentic looking cave hotel.

Our stay at Taskonak was superb from start to finish! We arrived at around 5pm and were told our balloon ride wouldn’t be going ahead for the following day but Angela had already booked a balloon ride for the day after! The bed was really comfortable and the room was equipped with an AC, a fridge, private bathroom & a TV connected to WiFi with Netflix, Disney+ and Prime video. The WiFi was also really fast and reliable. It’s approx a 5 min walk to the Main Street in Goremë from the property. The breakfast is also great and the chef can make you fried, scrambled eggs or an omelette at your request. If we return to Goremë we’ll be staying here. Angela is wonderful & we had lots of great chats with her over breakfast. She truly bent over backwards to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We’re so grateful! This hotel was really great. Angela checked us in and she was fab. Super friendly and super helpful. She gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and stuff to do in Göreme. She also helped us book the balloon flight (we had a cancellation on the day planned). All staff were really lovely. Rooms were spot on for what we needed them for. Breakfasts were delicious. Couldn’t fault our time here.

I wish the cushions were out on the terrace. But I believe they were packed away due to the stormy weather we had during our stay.

From the first message from the hotel confirming the booking the check-out, everything was excenent: Angela and the team truly made me feel welcomed. Any request they did assist me with, either it's pick up, or hot air balloon booking. Room was huge, with a cute sitting area in the courtyard, super clean and comfortable. And the rooftop! It deserves 10 stars itself. Thank you! And I do recommend this property if you are lost in all the options in the area.

Was a bit warm for me, but open window helped

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Best breakfast buffet in our Turkish journey, and lovely ladies would even make omelets or scrambled eggs for us. Our room (in a cave) was huge, as well as the bathroom, with a giant bath tub (although we didn't use it) and a double shower. The balloon flight arranged by the hotel was fairly priced and with a reliable company. Our driver for a one day private tour (Mohamed) was really nice, although he didn't speak much English, but we managed to communicate via Google translator.

They charged us 50 € for paying with credit card.

The owners and staff are very nice, attentive and friendly. Breakfast is very good even though not much options but mezzas here were the best I tried in Turkey. We staid in the cave room and it was super clean, not dusty, not smelly and had a heated floor with a very accurate temperature control panel.

We booked the day tour here but the thing is the hotel doesn't have their own guide so they use guides from outside. We were very unlucky with our guide as he was talking on the phone and even didn't say hello to us when we met him. Will omit many things happened but overall it was not a good experience with him.

We had an amazing stay at Taskonak! They were so helpful before my arrival with arranging airport transfers and providing info around activities. Upon arrival (late in the evening) we were welcomed and given all sorts of tips on the region and the town itself. The room was super clean and had all the amenities (even under floor heating!). Breakfast was superb and the ladies making breakfast were so friendly. We also had a nice chat with Angela and Yilmaz which made it feel very homely. The hotel is centrally located and all the restaurants and shops are only a few mins walk. The view from the roof terrace (and from our room) was incredible with the hot air balloons in the morning. I would 100% recommend staying here!

None - everything was great and I would most definitely stay at Taskonak again.

Had a fantastic stay at Taskonak! The staff went above and beyond, even helping us park on the steep, narrow street — a huge help for a limited parking area. Breakfast was a highlight, lovingly prepared by local staff with a real “mother’s touch” — even the sunny side up eggs were delicious. The cave room was cozy, unique, and great value for money. Highly recommended for an authentic Cappadocia experience!

The place has a very warm and welcoming vibe, also the rooms. They have two terraces at two different levels. It has an amazing view specially from the breakfast area. Angela arranged every program we wanted, I am very grateful🙏🏼 everyone was helpful also they speak English very well. The WIFI was a little off but it could be because of the snowy weather.

Staff is great! They really made a difference in our stay. Everyone is extremely helpful and attentive. The owner, Angela, is also very helpful and gave us all the answers we needed even before our checkin. We were there at the end of August, we stayed in one of the cave suites. It was a very pleasant experience, we always had water, tea and coffee in the room. Very good shower. Bed and pillows ok. The location of the hotel is amazing, it's close to everything to get around on foot. The view from the terrace is very beautiful! It is very pleasant to stay on the terrace after a tiring day of sightseeing. Alcohol is not sold at the hotel, but you are allowed to bring alcohol and drink inside the hotel. Breakfast is delicious! Lots of sweet and savory options... it's a mix of Turkish breakfast and continental breakfast. This mix is ​​very positive, as it caters to all tastes! The food is simple, homemade and delicious!
