Location was great; breakfast was really heartening as the service staffs were amazing.

The room we had was the cave suite, felt like a lot of space was non functional. No shelves in toilet sink area, and also the bed we were in felt uncleaned and we had to get it checked. Eventually, I asked for another duvet, so as to place it above the existing duvet. But the front of house tried to resolve it for us.

Exceptional hotel with amazing staff! We stayed for 5 nights in room 505 (downstairs) and had a wonderful time. The rooms are beautiful - a great combination of cave and traditional Turkish vibes. The rest is the hotel is so lovely - a really pretty labyrinth of old stone and flowers. I suspect the upper rooms would be amazing. The terrace is stunning - you can sit and take in town of Goreme during the day or night. Breakfast is excellent - a buffet which changes each day and the catering team are super lovely. The daily free tea and nibbles at 4:30pm on the terrace is a lovely touch and a great way to meet fellow guests (we met some really wonderful people). The location is amazing - slightly back from the main area up a hill with a stunning view and easy walking to all places. Metin who runs the place is a legend. He can’t do enough for you and totally blew us away with his fluent Japanese! All staff were friendly and helpful. We got a great deal on booking.com. Beyond the hotel, Goreme and the area are amazing - incredibly hot air balloons, stunning hikes, lots of tours, wonderful food and just general good vibes in the town. Very friendly locals too. Book it now!

Room was spacious, had a window, and the walls were rough for a cave feeling. Bathroom was okay and had a chic shower head. Breakfast was lovely and it was a spread of a wide mixture. You could order cooked eggs the way you liked it. Mezzes and fruits were plentiful - I loved their apricots and plums! I loved eating out on their terrace to get the warm sun. Location was good for seeing the hot air balloons in the skies, and you could walk down the steep road to town for restaurants. Receptionist, Aice (Aisha) was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Water was given daily in the rooms.

If we could give more stars for this hotel we would! We've stayed in many different accommodations all over the world, and we can confidently say that this is one of the very best! Our room was impeccably clean, the bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the wifi was strong and consistent. The breakfast was plentiful with many delicious options. It was obvious that a great deal of care went into preparing the dishes each morning. The coffee was also good. Perhaps best of all was the wonderful staff. Everyone was kind and welcoming, and we were offered so much help, from parking our car to suggesting restaurants and things to do. Ayse also booked our balloon ride for us, which was a truly unforgettable experience. I would suggest having this accommodation book your balloon ride - it's more than worth it!!

This hotel is truly unique, offering one of the best rooftop views in all of Göreme—especially magical in the morning when the sky fills with hot air balloons. The rooms have a stylish cave design, combining traditional charm with modern comfort and cleanliness. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great variety and thoughtful options— they even served me gluten-free bread and sweets! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. Without a doubt, this is the best place to stay in Göreme for a memorable and magical experience.

I would suggest adding a few more lighting options in the room for better ambiance and convenience, but overall everything else is so perfect.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable before we could check in! Helpful with recommendations and suggestions! The room/cave was such a great experience, felt cosy yet amazing! Location was perfect, walking distance to everything! The rooftops were also worth mentioning, so spacious and there are two on this hotel, pretty much had the whole rooftop to ourselves the entire morning, not crowded at all! Last mention was the AMAZING breakfast they provided, was superb variety and nothing wasn’t amazing! Only wish we could’ve stayed for longer

We stayed at this property in the month of April. The location was amazing. It's a slight uphill walk from the goreme city centre but it was great. The rooms were nice and spacious. We got a great deal on the junior suite. The receptionists were super helpful in booking the red tour and atv tour for us. They had all the information. There were also restaurants close to the hotel which was great. The breakfast was also nice and they could accommodate veg options for us.

The kitchen staff which was there at the time of breakfast didnt know english very well. Also the time we went i think they were under staffed in the hotel

All the staffs were very helpful. The room was big and quite clean. Nothing to complain about. Hotel staff helped us to arrange everything that we need in time and was never a problem. Always had a smile on their face :) . The start of the property- is the cute cat that hotel owns and is a charming pet :) .

The breakfast could have been a bit better. Few things were repetitive and the taste was not upto thr mark. I believe the breakfast department needs to upscale their standard. We booked the highest standard - King Room. But sadly there was no private balcony or area outside our room unlike some other rooms that had. As claimed by the hotel, since this is the best room they have, I believe it should have some private terrace to enjoy the evening.

The breakfast was lovely, and hot dishes like omelets and sunny-side-up eggs were freshly made to order. The lady in charge prepared them on the spot, just the way you wanted — a really nice touch. The view from the rooftop was terrific, and you could see hot-air balloons early in the morning. The cave room was spacious, clean and absolutely lovely. Even with the “Do Not Disturb” sign on, the staff thoughtfully left two bottles of water for me.

The people at the front desk appeared a little distant, though it might have just been their working style.

I really enjoyed my stay at Terra Cave Hotel in Goreme. I had a cave suite, which was very comfortable. The weather was cold and snowy my entire stay, but the room temperature was very mild; I didn't even use the heat. The bed was comfortable and there were 2 chairs to sit in. There was a fireplace that I could have asked for wood, but I didn't use it. The front desk person, Aisha, was a joy. She was so nice and I enjoyed talking to her each day. The breakfast served up on the terrace was lovely, and the staff there very pleasant. I was able to get several bottles of water each day, since you need to drink only bottled water; I appreciated that they provided this free of charge.

Even though the weather turned during my stay, and I was unable to do the hot air balloon, or even to see the balloons take off at all, staying at Terra Cave helped make up for it. I was comfortable and enjoyed my little cave suite very much.
