First of all, we would like to express our gratitude to the Luvi Cave staff who made our stay in Göreme so memorable! We wholeheartedly recommend Luvi Cave Hotel to travelers. 1. **Incredibly Friendly Staff** When we first arrived at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed. They gave us a map of Cappadocia and explained everything about the region in a kind, friendly, and engaging manner. We had planned to join the Red and Green tours, and the staff kindly checked if the tours we had booked were reasonably priced and if they covered all the major attractions. They also took the time to explain the terrace which is the best spot to view the hot air balloons, as well as other details, making it both informative and fun! Throughout our stay, we had early morning balloon tours and had to leave at 6:30 AM to catch the shuttle. Every time we went out, the staff at the reception kindly asked us to wait inside to stay warm. Also, whenever we waited for the shuttle, Max, the cutest staff member of the hotel, would wait with us, whether inside or outside the reception room. Thank you, Max! 2. **The Best View in Göreme** We booked this hotel because we read that it offers the best view of the hot air balloons! And it definitely lived up to the reviews. The hotel has a stunning view (I even got engaged to my boyfriend on the hotel terrace! The night view of Göreme was so beautiful, I felt incredibly happy!). In addition, the hotel made sure that guests could enjoy the view comfortably and for long periods of time by providing sofas and Christmas trees on the outdoor terrace, and even an indoor terrace with glass walls to block the winter wind. It is open 24 hours, so we could enjoy it anytime. We also saw the staff take great care, like moving the sofas and covering the Christmas tree with plastic when it rained. This shows how dedicated and hardworking the staff is in maintaining the hotel! 3. **Delicious and Warm Breakfast** Breakfast starts at 8:30 AM.

The rooftop for viewing balloons is amazing. I think it has been recently renovated since the online images. There are some balloons that pass right over you however most are directly in front and you get a great overview of them all. The room was excellent with all the amenities you need and daily cleaning. The room has robes and slippers + coffee maker and 4 x water bottles daily. Breakfast was nice with the option to eat underground or on the terrace. Reception were friendly and readily available to help you. The dog max is adorable and very friendly. Excellent location - 2-3 mins walk until you reach the centre.

The shower pressure

Staff were super friendly (Gurkan, Baris and the others). Our room was really comfortable and the a/c worked really well. The design and aesthetic in a cave is really cool, both figuratively and literally. The hotel helped us book the hot air balloons (butterfly balloons), as well as shuttle transfer to from and from the airport. The focus of this hotel and its stuff is to build trust and their aim is to be very transparent with everything, including costs. You can trust them. All the amenities are new, functioning and work great. ALSO, if you are a tourists from Asia who just wants to book this hotel for the hot air balloons instagram shots from the rooftop, just know that wind conditions dictate on the day whether all hot air balloons fly over the city centre. It just depends on the luck of the day the direction of the wind whether you get to see them.

The breakfast area is ideally better above ground than below ground, but I understand this will be the case very soon.

Loved absolutely everything! Prior to booking, their communication and assistance was so prompt and helpful. For the first time visiting a hotel, the staff showed us around the hotel and its surroundings and took the time to create a little daily itinerary. So, a special thanks to Boris and Khan as they were genuine and cared to help. The location is perfect as it's within walking distance to everything. The "cave" vibe still felt luxurious and new and our room was huge. Cleanliness was top tier and they were generous in the amenities provided. They had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. If we hadn't already booked our flights to the next destination, we definitely would've extended there. Overall can't fault anything!

Nothing negative to say

The people at this property were amazing. Someone spent 10-15 minutes with us everyday helping make sure we were taken care of. They helped book our adventures, airport transfers, taxis, helped suggest the right hikes for us and were looking out for us the entire time. The views were stunning and we loved staying here. Highly recommend if you want something quality with the right price. Make sure to ask for whatever eggs you want at breakfast.

For breakfast, we didn’t really know what it was we were eating and it was a bit of trial and error to figure out what was right for us.

The staff were super friendly and helpful with everything from start to finish. Gave us amazing recommendations for the area too with a map highlighting places we want to visit and places they recommended. The hotel was so clean with robes and slippers, drinks station, mini fridge, dressing table, toiletries etc. The roof top was incredible. The pictures do not do justice, it is open 24/7 for insane views during sunset and rise. The hot air balloons travel all around it making it stunning. The breakfast was also lovely with ready options and also eggs made to order however you like them.

what’s there to not love!! The property was stunning, the service was outstanding and the location is prime!

our only hiccup was with the breakfast. Our package included breakfast and I had informed them as soon as we booked that I was celiac and needed gluten free options. Unfortunately, there was nothing on the breakfast buffet that was gluten fee. However, their service was so good with everything else that I am sure if we really complained, they would have found a solution but most of our days were long so we decided to just skip breakfast and sleep in instead starting on day 3.

Everything! The property has undergone some renovation and it looks amazing. The main terrace is gorgeous perfectly combining Turkish heritage with a modern touch. The rooms have a luxurious feel and the entire place smells so good (a spicy pomegranate). I was greeted by Boris and he was absolutely wonderful, not only did he recommend great restaurants and sorted out a tour for us but he also was very understanding of a mistake I’ve made during the booking. I wish I could have stayed more because genuinely it’s an amazing place, very close to the centre of Goreme. Bonus their dog Max is the sweetest.

We had the best time at Luvi cave! Even before we arrived, we had been in touch with Boris at the hotel, and he made our arrival, stay and entire experience at the hotel, seamless and phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with our bags being taken to the room, with information of all of the best restaurants, activities, how to get around town. I cannot say enough about the staff and the amenities at this hotel. We were taken up to our beautiful cave room and greeted with anniversary treats that I had prepared for us and shown around the hotel and room with such enthusiasm and you can tell so much love has been put into this hotel. Boris, even worked with our hot air balloon company to arrange rescheduling dates and times for us when the company cannot reach us as we were flying. I had the most unforgettable stay with the staff, and most importantly Max, the Luvi mascot. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It is great location to the town to all the best restaurants and to the magic that Cappadocia has to offer. Look no further and book this hotel as you will have an unforgettable experience and you won’t regret it.

The overall hotel is perfectly located within the city center of Goreme. Our room was absolutely beautiful, huge & spacious. clean, perfect shower. Everything about it was great. Breakfast was a good spread..... local turkish mezzes plus you can order eggs separately. And the staff Gurkan and Boris were exceptional. They were very helpful in organising the balloon rides, suggesting places to eat and anything else we required. Also, the view from the balcony is stunning!! It felt like home away from home! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
