Quite limited variety of food for breakfast. Hospitality of personnel varies: gentlemen were very helpful, while lady at the reception was not that client oriented. We also experienced a dreadful situation: waking up very early the morning to watch hot air ballon to find a dead dog on the terrace just at the door of our room. Not clear how it could happen inside the hotel. Our mood was totally ruined that day. Luckily we could prevent our daughter from seeing it.

We had an amazing and unique experience staying at this luxury cave-themed hotel, which perfectly complements the vibe of Cappadocia. The room was spacious enough for the three of us, and the bathroom was impressively large, exceeding all our needs. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. After checking out, I realized I had left an important item behind, and the manager kindly checked immediately and arranged for it to be shipped to me. Fortunately, I was still in Turkey, and I received it quickly in another city. Also we loved that we could take stunning photos from the terrace with the hot air balloons as a backdrop. It was such a memorable experience! Overall, a wonderful stay with outstanding service!

I only had a couple of minor issues during my stay. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow inside the room, and it was chilly in the mornings and evenings. The small wall-mounted air conditioner wasn’t quite enough to heat the large room effectively. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience.

The hotel is amazing with a cave atmosphere. The location from the main town of Goreme is about 5 minutes walk. The communication was very good the whole time and the hotel offered a lot of activities (hot air balloon, ATV, horse riding, tours).

We booked a intimate breakfast on the terrace one morning for our honeymoon assuming it was a private event. There was a breakfast set up right next to our set up which was for photos that anyone could go to that stayed at the property. We had half the hotel watching us have our 'intimate' breakfast, which was a bit awkward. We paid 120 Euros, if we had known about the free breakfast set up (photos only) we wouldn't have booked it. Other than that the stay was good.

Once again, the most memorable aspect of our stay was the genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff. They made us feel like family from the moment we arrived, and we left with cherished memories that will really last a lifetime. In short, Hera Cave Suites is more than just a hotel – it's an experience that will leave you spellbound. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway or family/friends vacation, I wholeheartedly recommend Hera Cave Suites for an unforgettable stay in Cappadocia. I would choose it again without any doubt!

The location of Hera is perfect and walking distance (only 1-2 minutes) into downtown Göreme for shops and restaurants to eat. The staff was extremely attentive (loved working with Fatih, he was lovely!) and made were quick to accomodate any requests. Our room was also even more beautiful in person.

I was so excited to have a room with a claw foot tub but was disappointed to find it hadn't been cleaned, had to wait another day (housekeeping was away for the evening) to be able to use it. The bathrooms in the breakfast area weren't in the best condition but the staff was quick to address when I let them know.

I highly recommend the Hera Hotel! Here are some of the things I loved: 1. The buffet breakfast was the best I had on our entire trip to Turkey. It had a great variety of food and drinks and everything was delicious. 2. The comfort of the rooms was unmatched. The beds and sheets were comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. I loved it after a long day. 3. The check-in and check-out process was very fast. 4. The hotel facilities and views are beautiful. It's like being in a fairy tale. 5. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommended great places to eat and visit. They gave us a map and always attended to our requests with a smile. 6. The location is highly recommended. It's close to everything. I would definitely stay at Hera again.

We stayed at one of the deluxe room and it was exactly as described. The cave room was clean and incredible. One of the nights we had a little cat visitor meowing at our door which was a pleasant surprise. The city centre is 6mins walk from the location and I booked this based on the reviews here. Highly recommend and did not disappoint!

The breakfast was very limited. More variety apart from just bread and cheese would be nice. The only protein option was eggs. Also organise your own airport transfer because if you get the hotel to organise it for you it’ll cost you more. I used bookings.com for all my airport transferred and it was so much cheaper than what the hotel was quoting.

Breakfast was wonderful. Servers and staff were so nice!! The bed underglow was super nice and unique. We got a hot tub room and this was definitely the highlight! Communicating with staff via text was very convenient

Shower door was broken. Bathroom lights were too dim. Need more lighting throughout unit. Beds were a little too stiff. The hot air balloon view was across the hotel and not ahead of it which was a little inconvenient. The terrace was not light up and no events or parties were hosted there which would have been nice!

This Hotel was excellent, the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was amazing with so much variety and food. The young receptionist Aseea (sure that's not the correct spelling of her name) was incredibly helpful, especially trying to get our lost luggage back, we were very grateful to her.

Nothing, it was all amazing. Location was only a short distant, they helped organised a few different tours. Clean, comfortable, great to be staying in an actual cave room.

Hotel is stunning. Great location, super close to the Main Street and easy to walk to get food and to go to activities. Breakfast has a nice atmosphere and food was delicious. Cave room was spectacular and comfortable. Shower was large and had good pressure and warmth. I booked balloon through hotel and my departures as well. This was an easy process. Bed was cosy and comfortable. Terrace has a great view of balloons for the morning you don’t go in the balloon.

For the Aussies, there is no bar, gym and you can’t get meals except for breakfast. You also can’t take guests back to the hotel or room even if you had booked for an extra guest. Take cash due to the high fee to pay via card for activities and transfers. ATMs in area have high fee as well.
