Terrace has nice views but you can see and hear the noisy road nearby, it does take a little bit away from the experience. Overall it is a nice hotel but we found it quite impersonal. The pool is VERY cold Breakfast buffet massive and lots of choice, but food quality not great

We had an amazing stay in Doors of Cappadocia! The hotel exceeded our expectations with its excellent rooms, perfect location, and welcoming staff. The breathtaking views, especially from the infinity pool overlooking the stunning mountain caves, made our experience even more special. Breakfast was delicious, offering a great selection to start the day right. One of the highlights was the thoughtful service—they allowed us to leave our belongings after check-out, making it much easier for us to explore comfortably before our departure. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia!

Great location, really central to the town. The hotel was quiet and served a great buffet breakfast. The staff were really helpful, we booked our balloon ride through them. The terrace is amazing for watching the balloons in the morning and doesn't get too busy. I loved the huge spa bath in our room which was lovely after the chilly mornings/evenings.

I learnt after booking the hotel that the pictures where people are sat on the terrace eating breakfast, they charge 200 euros or 250 with breakfast which I thought was misleading as it wasn't until I asked after booking. The TV is quite old and could do with updating as you can't watch netflix etc on it.

Let me just tell you that this hotel is out of this world. Never have I met such kind souls at the reception and I also met the owner who went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. I came to Cappadocia with my mother for her birthday. The team organized decorations in the room - balloons, flower petals and also a cake. It was all for an extra cost of course but it was very great! my mother does not speak English so we requested a private russian speaking tour and a guide and the owner itself found us russian speaking guide. They also organized us the air balloon tour on our last day of the vacation because the previous days it got cancelled because of the weather. I also loved the additional bonus- a whatsapp chat for all the inquiries a 24/7. The room itself was big and spacious with a sofa, TV, amenities - towels, body lotion, soap, shower gel, shampoo and slippers! big bonus. the bed was very comfortable too.

The only minus there were *no big mirror in the room, only the small one in the bathroom so you can never check your outfit *bad lighting in the bathroom, if you plan to do your make up daily, it might be problematic *bad breakfast. you can only get like warm food - eggs, french fries at 8 am when the breakfast buffet opens, other than that it is just cold food. also just one meat option - a sausage. as a person who eats meat daily, it was a struggle for me.

absolutely everything the hotel is very very clean the personal that work there is very amazing always wanna help, the people that work in reception are super nice,even the boss from hotel is very nice too,always wanna help,breakfast amazing pool very good with amazing view and 100% recommended make excursions with the people from hotel. something else: the driver from classic cars to the ballon’s “Kerem” is one of the best people I met in all turkey súper nice and great person 100% RECOMMENDED

The hotel is about 200m from the main street that has several restaurants, tour companies and souvenior shops. Due to its elevated posisition it has beautiful views of the hot air balloons in the morning.

A little disappointed that nothing could be done for my wifes birthady, even following a request. Be aware that there are various levels of stairs to climb to get to reception and the restuarant. These are at the highest level.

Everything about this hotel is amazing. The pool area and terrace are the perfect spots to watch hot air balloons fly early morning. Staff are very accommodating and helpful.We had everything arranged for us- airport pickup, day tour, red dress rental+transfer and the cake for my friend's birthday. We really had a great stay!❤️ We will surely miss this place and the super adorable Maya 'the queenofpugs"! 🤗

Room, pool and helpful staff

No lunch/dinner options, you have to go to restaurants outside of hotel. Suggest to have restaurant and kitchen working more than 5pm. in the evening, as for some guests it is won’t be easy to go to the city to eat and then go up back to hotel. Housekeeping for some reason,once threw away our sweets and balloon tour certs. Suggest housekeeping check what’s inside before assuming it is trash.

Great staff, can see they work hard to anticipate and accommodate guests needs. They did not approve early checkin in advance for us, but we hardly had time to finish a tea before they had got are room turned around from the previous guest. If you need to book balloon trip or tours I would ask the front desk team rather than bumping around to agencies around town. They price is the same or better and particularly for balloon rides they make sure you get with a good crew. Cool location for a great view by the pool or up in the pavillion, but still just a minute off the main street of town. We always miss our dog when we travel so very much appreciated the two friendly dogs. Show them some love.

Nothing really to not like, the character of the hotel is rooms are up and down stairs around the court yard. It's quite nice but if you are traveller limited by mobility or struggle with stairs this is probably not a good place for you.

This is the second time I've stayed at Doors of Cappadocia, and it remains my favourite hotel in Goreme. The location, especially the terrace, has beautiful views over the Red and Rose Valleys and is the perfect early morning spot to watch the hot air balloons drift past. The breakfast is the best I've had in Turkey, with plenty of variety. And the staff? They are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble.

Hmmmm. Honestly, there was nothing that I was unhappy with or that I believed could be improved. Thank you, Doors of Cappadocia, for a beautiful stay.
