It was a really nice lokation. Supermarket and restaurants only 5 min far by walk. The Beyazit trampway station (the grand bazar) was only 10 min far by walk from the hotel. Everything was nice and very clean, the bathroom was very clean. Nice furnitures and a very comfortable bed. Shared kitchen with a nice garden to sit in. The staff Pusat, Ali and Baris were very sweet, polite, serviceminded and always helpful with everything. I would really recommend this pleasant little hotel.

Quiet location, walkable to main attractions but out of the hustle and bustle. Comfortable bed, air conditioning worked well. Staff was very friendly and the price was very affordable. Would recommend staying here as a no fills, comfortable, convenient location to come home to and sleep after being out all day

The shower/bathroom combo. I never like when a place has 1 space for the shower and toilet, so essentially you shower and then the toilet and sink area is all wet but I honestly forget if I knew that or not prior to booking. Also, the timed lights in the bathroom shut off every 15 seconds so I had to keep waving my hand to keep them on.

Very kind and helpful staff. Lovely room that was tidied up every day and had a lot of useful commodities such as slippers for the bathroom and basic cutlery/portable stove to prepare some food. Airport transfer available. Within walking distance to most historical attractions.

Omar and Alis’ hospitality was exceptional. From the moment of arrival to our departure five days later they offered interesting tidbits of information to enhance our wandering through this incredible ancient city. They introduced us to a tiny kebab place that served the freshest kebabs and most generous portions at less than a third of the cost anywhere we have traveled. We travel a lot so we tend to shy away from daily ostentatious food expenditures. We also prefer to spend our funds on the experience as opposed to palatial marble front entrances. The quaint little hotel is located in the Sultanhamet district. There are many small independently run operations like this all over Istanbul located amongst a web of narrow cobblestone alleys and roads. Somehow, the drivers manage to get their vehicles through without incident. The rooms are small and compact but these are redeveloped original housing dating back hundreds of years. It was a true delight to have met these gentlemen. Our stay in Istanbul was truly enhanced by their generosity and kindness.

The staff was fantastic - Ali (the owner) and his colleague were always welcoming us at the reception with smile and greetings. They managed to order a taxi, give us a hints about the city and they sell the SIM cards for tourist so you don´t really need to go to any branch to get them. I usually dont really expect any servis anywhere, coz Im bugget traveller, but service wich they provided was outstanding. Such a friendly helpfull duo. Hopefully I will see them soon :)

We had an amazing four nights at April Sorry Apart hotel. We were on a budget so we stayed in the basic room but it exceeded our expectations. Our bed was comfortable, sheets were clean and pillows were super nice. The room also came with a kettle for tea, along with basic kitchen appliances making it possible to make some food if needed. The bathroom was very clean as well which was a plus. The location of the hotel is near many affordable restaurants and there were so many cute cats outside of the hotel that we fed every night. The staff made us feel extremely welcome and always made time to chat or give us a ton of extra tea (we loved the tea there). We are extremely grateful to the staff for their kindness and hospitality and will definitely be back here next time we are in Istanbul!

Amazing service from Ali and his cousin, both so kind and helpful during our stay. The hotel is located near the main attractions places like the Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque and about 10 minutes to the tramway and to the famous Grand Bazaar so it was very convenient for a first time in the beautiful and busy Istanbul. Our room was spacious, beautifully arranged and clean. Also very affordable for a small budget. Thanks to the wonderful people who works and manage this place, you've been the kindest, really! April Story is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay in the perfect location for exploring the Fatih district of Istanbul. The team were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we booked and throughout our stay - their restaurant recommendation on our first night was the best we had for the whole trip! Our room was clean and spacious, with regular room service and everything we needed to unwind after a day exploring the European side of Istanbul. We loved our stay there and it'll be first on our list if we find ourselves back!

It is a dated building and at the bottom of a hill. To get to the main attractions, you have to climb winding roads. On the way up, you see ladies manufacturing sandals, like it is 1920. It is a less developed part of town, but I always felt safe as a solo traveler, even late at night. But for the value, the quiet, the charm and the historic aspect, and most of all, the exceedingly friendly hosts, I would stay again. Bed was the right level of firmness. Shower had good pressure. There is a kitchen and fridge that guests can use.

House cleaning was patchy. Sometimes they would miss towels, sometimes not clean. Aircon stopped working if other guests pushed the wrong buttons. But the hosts were always available to fix things up. As it is a dated building, you can hear footsteps on the stairs and rooms above during the day. But it quieted down at night at sleep time.
