This was the perfect stay in Istanbul. The price was unbeatable, the location was excellent, and the staff was so accommodating. It’s a 5 to 10 minute walk to the major attractions and there are plenty restaurants nearby. There is even a small convenience store literally right next door. The night we left, we had to leave at 3am to catch a 6am flight. I walked to the parking lot where our car was parked and it was all locked up with the lights off. I freaked out because I thought we would miss our flight. But I went to the reception desk and Mohammed called them for me, woke them up and asked them to help me get my car out. Mohammed was extremely nice and helpful. I highly recommend Gloria Suites and its sister hotel Harbour Suites!

The only thing is that in Gloria Suites there is a spiral staircase with narrow stairs. A bit challenging to get our bags up to the room but other than that it was perfect!

We loved the central location, placed on the corner of a very interesting manufacturing street, textiles, shoes, fabric etc. The check in and out was smooth and the staff were very warm and helpful.

Our room was very small and was difficult to manoeuver with two adults and suitcases. I think we were just unlucky this time, but it the room still had everything we needed. We saw that the other rooms were much bigger.

The staff was really nice, the bed was comfortable and the view of the Mosque was nice. Although at first I thought the minifridge was not working, I had a pleasant surprise. The cleaning stuff came everyday and asked if I needed fresh towels, took the garbage out etc.

If you did not turn on the AC, the room got really hot. Also, I had to climb every day a steep hill to go to the city center.

The room was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable with new mattresses. The Wi-Fi was right in the room, so the speed was quite good even for work. There’s one room on each floor so you don’t hear the people in the other rooms. The AC is provided so it’s comfortable even in the Istanbul heat. When the AC got broken, the stuff kindly helped us even in the late hour.

It was a bit noisy outside at night, but, with the windows closed and AC on, that’s not a big problem. Be ready to climb the hill to get to Grand Bazaar :)

Don't even need to mention how polite, patient and helpful the staff working there were, really well positioned near the main attractions of the city and in the middle of the heart of Istanbul. I was promised a room with a view to the sea but I could see just 3/4 of it.. instead they had REALLY clean rooms/bathrooms and careless housekeeping never found a better place to stay!

The room was a bit smaller than what I expected a part for that it was a good experience

the location was great very good and comfy accomodation considering the price the hosts were very caring and helpful

-after arrival, there is never anyone at the reception desk, there is a phone number, but a foreign tourist rarely has mobile data, so it would be nice to also have the wifi password at the reception so that people can write via whatsapp and not pay for roaming like we did -not 100% clean, the bathroom could be better, but good enough, not dirty by any means -noise from surroundings , but it is the old town of Istanbul, I think it is the same anywhere else

The stay was excellent and the night time Receptionist Marat and Mohammed was very helpful and kind person to arrange everything at last night arrivals. The house keeper Sarah gave a good service and kept the room tidy and clean all days of stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staircase

Excellent location. Hotel is located right next to main attractions like Grand bazaar, blue mosque and aya sofia. All main attractions and public transport are walking distance.

There is no lift in hotel and they have 3 floors. So you have to take stairs to go to your room after long walks in istanbul. Also the hotel is at downhill so to go to all attractions you need to walk uphill. So be prepare to do walking

An economic and good option of hotel in Istanbul and with cozy decoration and room, staffs are very kind and willing to help

The stairs space is narrow and it's not very convenient for moving large-sized suitcase upstairs, but for the value of the hotel it's not a big thing

Location is amazing, great decor- very clean and modern and looks good quality

There was no space in a room I stayed even to flat my language; stairs are slippery and dangerous no handles to hold on too
