It is a huge place to stay in a great location for the classic sites of Istanbul. We were really pleased with it and really useful to have a washing machine and a dryer we could use.

Small things but were slightly frustrating - first there was under floor heating which we had no way of adjusting so sometimes it felt too hot, second the location on google maps is in the wrong place so this added some stress when trying to locate it (feel like this is an easy thing to fix?) and third the wifi was down for 2/3 nights which was a real pain when we didn't have data and would use our evenings and mornings of wifi to plan our days. Appreciate nothing that can be done about this though.

If you are traveling as a family this option will suit you perfectly. Spacious room and great design, for a reasonable price right in the center of Istanbul. Convenient to get anywhere you want to go. By booking this room you will pay for a cab 2 times when you arrive and when you leave, the rest of the time you can get around by public transportation (which is close) and the main attractions are a 20 minute walk away. There are many restaurants in the area (of different price range from cheaper to expensive) there are stores and one supermarket. All within walking distance of a wonderful and very comfortable apartment with excellent staff. The manager helped pick up a cab from the airport, everything worked like clockwork and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful with suitcases

Unfortunately, it was raining when we were in town and there were leaks in the bedrooms, on the outside wall. But I am sincerely confident that the staff quickly sorted out the problem and you will not be affected.

I was travelling with my Mum and we enjoyed the home comforts and space of this stylish apartment for five days. Staff were friendly and helpful and we communicated well through Google translate. The kitchen was well-equipped and we were easily able to cook meals. We also used the washing machine - the cleaner gave us a cup of detergent.

There were no major issues; I slept well, but my mum is a light sleeper and found the street noise disturbing (people shouting, singing and horns hooting, the call from the mosque was also quite near). Be mindful that the building is located at the bottom of a long, busy, steep hill. However, if you cannot manage hills, there is a train station next to the highway (Kumkapı station) which is a five minute flatter walk behind the hotel. Two stops takes you into town near the main sights (Sirkeci) and you can pick up a tram from there if you are travelling further afield. We once took the train one stop in the other direction to Yenikapı and then the metro to Beyoğlu, it's cheap and easy).

I had a pleasant experience staying at Raven Suites! The staff and manager were incredibly helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The room itself was spacious and came with everything I needed, from a comfortable bed to a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, washing machine, and eating utensils. It made my stay feel very homey and convenient.

The only challenges I faced were with the noise and a few minor technical issues. The neighborhood can be quite lively, so it might not be the best choice for light sleepers. The walls are a bit thin, so sounds from neighboring rooms can occasionally be heard. Additionally, the hot water pressure and Wi-Fi connection were a bit inconsistent at times.

This place is a gem close to the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. It is beautifully decorated on the inside and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The heating inside was great and the apartment has everything you might need for a comfortable stay! I loved this property and I can imagine a young family or a group of friends having a wonderful time here

It's important to note that there is no elevator. Although this property is amazing, visiting with older parents can be difficult. The location is great since it isn't a long walk to the grand bazaar, but it is a steep uphill walk. Also important to know if you're visiting with older parents.

Really loved the location, really close to main attractions within the old city to the blue mosque, Hagia Sophia mosque & Grand Baazar.Lots of great resteraunts nearby. Host and all staff were nice and very accommodating. Really spacious and bright apartment 2 double bedrooms with wardrobes lots of hangers for your clothes there is no shortage of hangers which seems to always be the case. Full kitchen with everything you would need also a washing machine. Bathroom came with complimentary hair, body wash which lasted us all week. One room also had a safe.Everyday our bins were emptied and fresh towels were given which was a nice touch for an apartment.

It could get noisy at times but did not effect my sleep in anyway, we were on the first floor so there is quite a number of steps to get to the first floor so wouldn't be suitable for someone who has any specific needs as there is no lift. On check in the man helped us with our luggage up the stairs which was great.

RAVEN SUITES ISTANBUL Location: Excellent location in the heart of old Istanbul. less than 15 minutes walk to Sultan Ahmed and if you don’t mind the steep climb to Beyazit it can be only six minutes to the nearest tram station. Amenities: recently refurbished very clean and presentable apartment. Excellent air-conditioning and all amenities are as described. Please note there are no lifts Staff: extremely helpful and pleasant staff will answer the phone readily. They are always willing to help in anyway. We had a special help from Bahattin and Mehmet.

The apartment is very spacious and hay everything you need. Simple, but well equipped. The staff was always helpful. We have a small kid and we got a high chair and bed for him.

There is no elevator and stairs are long, but they help with luggage. It can be a little noisy, but you can sleep, considering you are in a busy street. Location is good in theory, but a bit hard to reach main touristic destinations by foot if your mobility is low (like having a stroller).

The apartment is large and very clean, the beds were very comfortable, as much heat as you need and a very rare thing: no water flows next to/under the shower cabin :-) The hosts were very kind and always willing to help you with anything you need, including the transfer from the airport (I recommend). You have at your disposal everything you need for a long stay. There are many restaurants and patisseries near the location. It is very easy and quick to walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar, the Egyptian bazaar. I definitely recommend the location and we will gladly return on our next visit to Istanbul!

Excellent facilties and location in the old town, a 10 minute walk to tram way 1 or 15 /20 minutes into the main area by the Blue mosque. Facilities were very good, bed was large and comfortable and a kitchen area with microwave, 2 electric hobs , a fridge and washing machine.

Entrance area could be spruced up a little and TV only had 1 English speaking channel. A bedside lamp for reading would be an asset
