If you consider to let some fresh air in thorough the room window, think twice, because there is a thick layer of pigeon shit outside and several nests in the adjoining attic.

Everything was perfect. I would especially like to thank Mr. Erhan and Mr. İbrahim. They were very helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet, the hotel is located nearby. You can reach anywhere in 20 minutes. I stayed between 19-26 July for 1 week and was very pleased.

For its price, this hotel is a great option in Istanbul. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the Marmara Sea and about 8 minutes to the T1 tram stop, which goes to the city center in three stops. You can also walk to Sultanahmet or Gülhane Park in around 35 minutes. The staff is amazing – both night and day reception shifts were helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Asyl and Gul, the lovely breakfast ladies, who were humble and caring. Breakfast was good, with a variety of cheeses, fruits, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggs, sausages, bread, olives, halva, and more, along with coffee, tea, and juices. While the hotel isn’t new, it’s very clean, with spotless sheets. Plus, the elevator is a nice convenience. Highly recommend!

The bed was too high to climb on it... I saw this for the first time ever. But it was only in my room, I guess, as my friends had normal ones.

The buffet breakfast was excellent with a choice of scrambled and boiled eggs. I enjoyed the coffee maker with its many options and takeaway cups. The staff were helpful and provided fresh lemons for me to juice every morning, and I added honey to build up my immune system. Coffee in room, mini fridge, array of soap and shampoo. The staff helped with a lot of tour information.

It is located at the base of a very high hill, which we have to walk to get to the trams. This uphill walking for 15 minutes pushing a baby's pram can be strenuous on knees.

The hotel was situated in a good and accesibile area of the city (20 min walk to the Ayasofia mosque) and also close to a tram station. The staff was very friendly and any issued that we had was resolved immediately.

The breakfast was good but not very diverse. The rooms that we were offered were not renovated recently and the water pressure in the showers wasn't great, but overall the experience was very good and they offered a lot for the small price that we payed for this accomodation.

Nice clean and people friendly. Literally metres from the bustling good quarter of the old city. Lively atmosphere throughout. The manager was great and a staff member, Ibrahim, was fantastic. Answered every question and each time we got home, he would rush to the entrance to help me down with the baby pram. Also gave sound advice and even explained the cheapest way to travel.

Location was great, breakfast was good, they were helpful when we needed help.

Shower... it could be a bit cleaner and the shower leaked and the pressure wasn't very good. We also had to be moved from one room to another during our stay. And after we arrived we were asked to pay in cash and didn't get a receipt or prove of payment and were a bit worried that we'd get charged again from the card that we put while booking it - but that didn't happen and everything worked out in the end :)

The facilities were more than adequate given the price. Location was very central and very convenient to visit areas of interest. Friends of ours had to travel very far. Staff were friendly and the included breakfast was generous. There were families travelling with their teenagers and toddler which was sweet to see.

The earthquake.

The host was very polite and he helped us a lot with getting around. The place is a very good value for money. It does need some renovations, but it was very clean. The breakfast was also adequate enough not to go and eat somewhere else.

Nothing particular. Perhaps since we were on the fourth floor, we did mind the carts being left in the hall, but this is just a minor thing.

The delicious breakfast has a lot of variety and is continually restocked. Erhan was welcoming and very helpful. Cleaning staff did a great job as well. The room was surprisingly peaceful with the AC on despite being right in the center of lots of activity. We were steps away from shops and restaurants at various price points and able to walk in under half an hour to the Basilica Cistern and other sites. Cat haven across the street from our window <3
