This is a room (not an apartment) in the first floor of one building in a street silent during the night. The bathroom is in the room; the room is not very big but not very small (medium size) and you have a small desk if you need to work with your laptop and also a small fridge that it can be useful during the summer season. The bathroom is nice, everything works well, just the bathroom sink is a little small, but this is common in many places. The wi fi looks good. The area is safe and with many restaurants, and places for food. next door you ca find many shops.

The first room we got had ants and flies everywhere, but we got it sorted within minutes, he gave us a new room which was perfect. When going to this hotel make sure you switch if you get room 1.

The views are quite nice from the top floor, the owner is extremely nice and very helpful. The neighborhood is also bustling and filled with nice restaurants and cafes. The property is close to most tourist attractions. All in all a great value and an exceptional property.

There was a foul odor coming from the mini fridge, went away after a quick clean. Lack of an elevator means a lengthy walk up the stairs at the end of the day. While clean, the bathroom could use some updating (sink, shower)

I had an incredible stay at this accommodation in Istanbul! The host was amazing, always friendly and ready to help with any questions or needs. The accommodation itself was comfortable, clean, and incredibly affordable, offering excellent value for money. However, the highlight was the location – truly one of the best places to stay in Istanbul. With easy access to major attractions, dining, and public transportation, it made exploring the city a breeze. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Istanbul!

The mattress could use a protector or a topper to make it more comfortable, and the sink in the bathroom is quite small. Additionally, it would be great to have cleaning supplies available for guests staying a few days, as the bathroom and toilet could use a touch-up during a longer stay.

Excellent location with proximity to Kumkapi bus station, where you can easily take bus BN1 to/from Eminönu, ten minutes far from Beyazit tram station, twenty minutes walking distance from Sultanahmet Bazaar, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque, super friendly owner, owner’s supermarket and also several Turkish restaurants around, very good cleanliness and excellent facilities for a short stay, including air conditioner, free WiFi, a small fridge, electric kettle, hairdryer, slippers and a private bathroom. Great value for money in Istanbul. We were also given a hand with our luggage. Highly recommended for short stays.

The pillow was a bit uncomfortable

The room was great, with all needed facilities (especially the conditioner, it really helps!), clean, and pretty comfortable. Also, there are a lot of places around, restaurants, shops, landmarks. The host is very attentive and welcoming, he even helped us call a taxi. Thank you for your help!

The price:quality ratio is very good, and I would happily stay here again. The owner and staff were very friendly and clearly wanted to make my stay comfortable and pleasant. While there is no reception, they own the shop below the apartments and a small grocery store across the street, both of which are open late. They recognized my face and remembered my name every time, and always asked, "do you need anything?" In fact, I noticed the WiFi wasn't connecting when I first arrived and asked them to restart the router. They did so promptly and the issue was resolved. I cannot speak highly enough of their desire to be good hosts. The location is also very good. You are close enough to all the main sites in the area and to public transportation that can get you to other parts of Istanbul, but it still has a local feel and is near a nice neighborhood park. The street is fairly quiet in the evenings, so there isn't much noise. It felt very safe. The room itself is basic, but everything is functional: a small window to let in fresh air, air conditioning/heater to cool/warm the room as needed, hot water and a standing shower, a reasonably comfortable bed, and a TV with many satellite channels. All the linens and towels were clean. There was no room service (e.g., changing towels or sheets), but I actually appreciated the extra privacy and not being wasteful. I'm sure they would have done it if I asked them to, though. But that is not offered by default. Overall, if you set your expectations to functional housing, I'm sure you'll be satisfied.

Depending on where your room is, you might hear a fair bit of hallway/staircase noise. The door into the building needed a little force to open/close, so it was often slammed a bit. If other guests like to stay out late, this can result in some unwelcome noises late at night, especially as the staircase naturally echoes. (This was only a noticeable issue during one of my five nights, with another guest just seemingly lacking a bit of common sense.) Also, the WiFi was functional but it wasn't great. The connection would frequently hiccup and operate slowly. It suited my minimal needs (e.g., planning the next day and syncing photos overnight) but I would not advise relying on it for an important Zoom meeting.

Esat the manager was exceptional helpful and speaks English. The apartment was clean & all you need for a budget trip . The apartment hotel was in the Hart of all that was going on from restaurants to sightseeing . The local metro connects you to all you want and a twenty minute walk to marmaray train connects you to the metro on the Asia side for airport. Absolutely great!!
