The Staff were amazing, super friendly and made the stay enjoyable. We had issues with the bedroom and they were able to provide alternative rooms and were very Accomodating. We had the breakfast, there were plenty of options to choose from but would have been nice if there a few drink options. Location was perfect with many restaurants nearby, attractions and tram weren’t too far either!

The hotel in general is beautiful but does need a bit of an update e.g. sockets, shower heads etc

I had a wonderful stay at Amber Hotel.The hotel’s location is excellent, with a vibrant food street right next to it, offering a variety of delicious local and international cuisines. The area is lively and provides easy access to many of Istanbul’s famous attractions. A special mention to the staff at the reception, particularly Ali and Selçuk, who were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Their assistance made my stay even more pleasant and hassle-free. Overall, I highly recommend Amber Hotel for anyone planning a visit to Istanbul. The combination of a great location, excellent food options nearby, and outstanding service makes it an ideal choice.

Amber Hotel location is excellent, just about 25-30 mins walk to the Blue mosque and the Hagia Sophia. Room was very clean and comfortable. Every day the professional housekeeping kept the room nice and fresh which was like you returned to a new room after your tiring day trip around the city ! Considering the location and quality, the room charges are quite reasonable. Ali, the manager was really nice and professional. I was tentative when I decided to book an early morning taxi to the airport just the night before, but Ali managed with very little hassle which saved me a ton of time ! He was also willing to grant me early access to breakfast so I would not miss my included breakfast. Highly appreciated and kudos to the service and operations !

While the breakfast was quite extensive and nutritious , it seems the menu was repeated every day. Some variety would be appreciated. But my experience was just for 2 days, so I may be wrong but I have seen similar comments from other guests hence my comment.

This is a very charming hotel with modern comfort in the old city. But the most pleaserable experience I had was with the amiable hotel receptionist Ali K. Always ready to inform and help his guests. A true professional who, even after my returning home, did everything in his ability (everything!) to recover my precious passport from the taxi in wich I dropped it, in order to send it to Belgium, which included contacts with the consulate. Thank you, Ali, you really are a top of the bill receptionist.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Everything facilites is very close. The staff are amazing. You feel that you are at home and surrounded by family. The managers are really nice people, Yakub Bey, Muhammad Ali and Selçuk are very helpful and available whenever you need them. Breakfast as well was great. Thanks to Karina and Ercin. I loved the staff, and our room had a lot of space. The cleaning staff was exceptional, and the breakfast was tasty. We ordered the Sultan's package at the Spa, and it was really nice.

There were a lot of Russians, and some or the staff only spoke Russian. Sometimes, Russian songs were played during breakfast. If that makes you uncomfortable, that is something to take into account.

Great location, within a walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar and the tram station. This is a friendly and safe neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants just around the corner. Most importantly the staff was very friendly, polite and helpful, from the receptionists to the cleaning ladies. Alil, the waiter in the restaurant, offered a great service, always with a smile and shared some cultural insights. The terrace where breakfast is served offers some nice views and it is a nice way to start the day. The room was impeccably clean and I was lucky to be on the garden side so it was quiet. The wifi was very reliable.

I stayed there for 5 days and the breakfast was the same every day, so a bit of variety would be nice. The hotel is slightly old fashioned but overall cosy and nice.

The hotel is in a great location for key tourist attractions. The cost matched our expectations and provided a good level of comfort. The rooms were cleaned each day including change of bedding. Range of options for breakfast.

The traffic outside can be bit noisy during early evening, but that same in any capital city, closing the windows blocks out most. If having breakfast on the balcony, don't leave unattended as the sea gulls will take their opportunity!!!!

Everything was great. The morning breakfast staff are all amazing. All the reception staff were awesome, very helpful and always smiling. Yaquob from the reception lent me his transportation card without even asking. The hotel is cozy and in a great area. Can’t wait for my next stay there. Highly recommended!

The only thing that I didn’t like there is the cat. I’m allergic to cats and other animals.

I stayed in the hotel for 7 nights with my friend. The hotel is cozy, clean, with a charming interior. Staff was very friendly, especially Yacub. He was very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel :) The area around has mini markets, exchange shops, clothing shops, pharmacy, etc

The metro station was around 17 min away by walking. We didn't mind walking but maybe some guests would prefer a closer station. We felt the area was safe but restaurant options were limited.
