The hotel is right in the heart of the sites including The Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Most tours will pick you up from the hotel. The street has many shops selling everything from handbags to toiletries so if you forgot something at home as an international traveler you can find it. The staff is really nice and goes out of their way to accommodate you. The restaurant upstairs is good for breakfast and has great views of the Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque. (We didn’t have time to check out the dinner). The beds are comfortable, but because of the roof top bars, it gets pretty loud at night and doesn’t settle down until way after midnight. All in all, I would stay here again, especially if I was doing sightseeing.

The loudness of the rooftop bars at night makes it hard to sleep. The airport transfers to and from the hotel were late.

I did a lot of research before selecting Aya Sultanahmet Hotel in the Sultanahmet area because most of the hotels had either issues of noise, unfriendly staff, or sewerage smell. Aya Sultanahmet Hotel had no issues at all, we stayed at their Executive Suite, and from Check-in to Check-out everyone was extremely courteous, and helpful. The room was extremely clean and was serviced every single day, location is perfect to walk to all of the key places & restaurants. The fish restaurant on the top of Aya Sultanahmet Hotel is also an amazing experience with perfect views. I would highly recommend this hotel. I would stay again.

Everything was perfect.

I was really happy that the property was located near many historical tourist attractions and I felt like my stay was very welcoming due to many of the staff that worked at the hotel. In particular Mohammed was extremely accommodating he told me where all the great places to eat were, he was very kind and generous and did his utmost to ensure that I was happy during my stay. He probably asked me if I was ok or if I needed anything multiple times a day. Staff like Mohammed are the reason why I will be staying at Aya Sultanahmet whenever I am in Istanbul

My room was a bit small but it didn’t bother me too much because I was hardly in my room.

Location in the heart of Sultanahmet, 5 mins walk to all the main attractions. All the good cafes, restaurants and shops are around as well. Staff were very hospitable and friendly. Our room was cleaned daily, attention to detail was excellent. Thanks to all staff at reception and restaurant.

It would have been useful to have access to microwave or something similar to warm milk for children. Some effort requires to make it more welcoming for families with young children.

The location is excellent in terms of proximity to the Mosques, restaurants, the Tram, buses and shopping areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is clean and nicely put together. Decor is lovely!

The room was smaller than we expected but nothing can be done about that really as the real estate space is narrow. However the room was comfortable.

The location was amazing. The staff was beyond friendly and we received an amazing welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and the design of the hotel is exceptional.

The only thing we noticed was that there dust in the room which was not cleaned, especially on the shelves and on the fridge, besides that our stay was very pleasant.

Very nice hotel with modern rooms, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. The rooftop restaurant is a highlight, just like the central location - you can do all of the old city by foot, with many other restaurants close by.

Super nice hotel! We really liked it. If we will came to Istanbul again, definitely stay here again. Also receptionist Doga is a very helpful, kind, very good at his job! And the design of the hotel is very modern and cozy, we were very lucky with the choice, I'm in love. we were very satisfied!

The staff was very helpful. Location was perfect. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but we had the New Year's Eve diner at the AYA Fish Lounge. The food & service were good.
