As an experienced Turkey explorer I can firmly say that Elmira hotel is a perfection in many ways. First of all it is brand new hotel, in very nice, calm style, without any cheap decoration as you expect sometimes in Istanbul, and without noisy service. Super value for all the price options (I stayed in 2 different rooms, both were very comfortable). Breakfast at the downstairs cafe is good, all this Pera area has amazing food options around, and it is really the best spot for discovering Istanbul from the bright side))) Overall I had great experience, Lilia at the registration desk provides with excellent welcoming reception and smart attitude. Location near all shops, restaurants, nice coffeshop in the street. The apartment was great.

The double room has an emergency door that could be open from outside, I was not comfortable with the idea. Also, above the same door there is exit sign that has the light on all the time and it is not ok during the night

Lovely small hotel in the old town. The room was large and comfortable. There is no restaurant in the hotel itself, but the restaurant is located right at the entrance to the hotel. The hotel is more suitable for those who wants to feel the atmosphere of the old city. We liked everything, but you need to be prepared for the fact that the hotel is not located right near the road and you will have to walk with your suitcases along the tiled road.

The rooms were quite big, especially the bedroom; The location is great for exploring the city, if you don't mind the noise at night; The hotel has an elevator.

No slippers in the rooms; The elevator is quite small and slow; The cleanliness can be a bit better at places - the floor, the bed frame; There is a mini fridge in the bedroom but it only works when you are in the room, which makes it unusable really; The shower didn't work properly - the button that switches from the set shower head to the handheld shower head didn't work, so the water was flowing from the two showerheads at the same time.

Really great experience at this hotel and spa. The room was very nice, with comfortable beds and clean towels provided every day. We also received bottles of water daily, which was a thoughtful touch. One day, I accidentally locked my room card inside. I contacted the hotel through WhatsApp and got an immediate response. They confirmed the card was in the room and quickly helped me get back in—free of charge. The service was quick, friendly, and professional. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners and staff of both the hotel and the spa—everyone was incredibly welcoming and kind. The spa is high quality, offering excellent treatments including an anti-stress massage (available even during night shifts) and a traditional hamam, which was a fantastic experience. The location is perfect—right in the center, close to shops, restaurants, and nightlife. It’s a great spot, especially for young people looking to explore the area. There is no breakfast served at the hotel, but just across the street is Ficcin, a fantastic restaurant that serves high-quality traditional Turkish breakfast. Highly recommended if you’re looking for comfort, good service, and a relaxing spa experience in a lively area!

After spending time in Paris, I had to stay two days in Istanbul—and I’m so glad I found Elmira through Booking.com. The hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul, in the vibrant Pera area near Taksim Square. Compared to the small hotel rooms I experienced in Paris, Elmira’s rooms felt like 7-star suites—spacious, modern, and beautifully designed. Everything was super clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants and shops just steps away, making it easy to explore the city. I only wish I had more time to enjoy both the hotel and Istanbul itself! A big thank you to the Elmira staff and management for making this trip so memorable. Great location, just 2 minutes from Istiklal street. The room was very clean and looked very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi worked very well. For this money, it is a great option.

The main problem is that after 12am, the loud music is turned on in a club nearby. You can hear it very well in the room, as well as the vibration on the bed. The fun continues until 5am, and it is very difficult to sleep at this time. The staff offered us a solution to the issue and for this we are very grateful. On the second night, we were offered to change the room or take earplugs. We decided to try the second option, and with them, we could already sleep more or less normally.

Perfect location in downtown Istanbul close to many shops, excellent restaurants and historic buildings and squares like Galata tower, Pera Palace Hotel and Taksim square. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly particularly Majid, he helped us a lot always with a smile, even to change room because of noisy club next door.

Even we changed room you could still the noise from the Club next door almost all night! and creaky floors from the room upstairs when other guests were walking around. Better noise insulation will help. Breakfast was very basic and a lot of things needs to be paid as extras.

Location is super close to istklal street Restaurants and cafes are few steps from the hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpful specially Abdullah and zahra thank you so much for your help and you can choose breakfast between two places outside the hotel both of them are good transportation is easy to take also wither it’s taxi or tram or bus and don’t worry about safety it’s in a good area certainly I recommend people to stay in this place and hopefully i can stay here again

The location, literally not even a minutes walk to Istiklal St. Where all the shops are. Everything is open til late night. Inbetween Taksim sq and Galata Tower. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and Abdul Rahman was brilliant. The cleaner kept our room emuculate, and the in-house spa was the best, sauna, hammam, and swedish massage, all very private, and Lina was great with her service there. The bedroom had a separate kitchenette, which was very convenient and was thoughtfully styled throughout. Quite a new hotel as very clean. Would recommend and would stay again if I went back to the same area.

Breakfast - could have had a better spread. The hotel has an agreement with a cafe outside to cater to the hotel customers. The food was nice but there were not many options, next time I will book the hotel only as there are plenty of places to eat around the area.
