The location is amazing, it is directly on Istiklal Street, there is a bus station 5 minutes away, and Taksim Square is an 8-minute walk (thru Istiklal Street) where a metro and bus station are located. Most of the clothing brands are very near and so many attractions. The staff are so kind and friendly, they did everything possible to keep us relaxed. The view from our room was great. showing Istiklal Street from a nice perspective. We enjoyed the view.

The only comment I have is that breakfast needs more varieties and improvements. In addition to the timing, breakfast starts at 8:30, I think it is better to be starting earlier so people can start their day earlier.

The room was large and had a refrigerator. Plenty of restaurants and shops on same street. Located in the heart of the action. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel is in a very busy location especially at night. We are not light sleepers so it was not a problem for us. The sounds from the air conditioner were able to block out the noise from the club next door. Furnishing are due for replacement but beds were comfortable.

I stayed at the Golden Street Hotel for 9 days and I must say I enjoyed my stay thoroughly. Location gets 11 out of 10. It is right in the middle of Istikalal street where the road bends, so you get to see the full street from your hotel window. Issa Kaya, the hotel Manager was tremendously helpful, along with his colleagues. The airport transfer service was excellent (you need to use it to get to the hotel as it is in a pedestrian only street and you may struggle as a fist time traveler, especially if you are having a lot of luggage.) Breakfast is decent and the laundry service is very affordable. Internet worked perfectly well. Will definitely consider staying again.

Location was great. Right on Istiklal street. Lots of restaurant, shops and Taksim square within walking distance. 24 hours police presence everywhere making it safe to walk at any time. The hotel is next to the corner street where you can grab a taxis at all times. We had great shopping. Madame Tussaud, St Antoine de Padoue Church, Galata Tower are at very short walking distance. The tram stop is 1 min walk from hotel. Definitely a great location busy 24 hours a day.

Hotel signage should be bigger to locate entrance more easily upon arrival. Taxis and transfers cannot drive on Istiklal street and lateral roads are very busy, therefore no pick up or drop off right in front of the hotel. Do expect 2 to 5 minutes walk but it's safe...

Location was perfect so easy to explore around the area with exceptional public transportation, breakfast was included and adequate, the size of the rooms were larger than usual for a hotel in this position.

The beds could do with a little improvement, the base was a little creaky and mattresses were a little hard.

A fantastic stay thanks to the incredibly friendly staff and the perfect location. The receptionists were amazing from start to finish, always with a smile, extremely helpful, and attentive. The housekeeping was impeccable, upon request. The rooms are very well soundproofed. And the breakfast was everything you could ask for, served on a magnificent rooftop. The hotel was in the best location (this is my second time in Turkey) and it was wonderful. Stayed with my husband and girls, we had the suite with 2 rooms. We searched for a room to accommodate 6 people and this was the best deal. Staff was great. They were available for anything we needed and delivered promptly. One staff members even took us all the way to a place we didn't know how to get to. They cleaned when we asked them.

One of the two rooms in the 2-room suite did not have a window. Also, there was no balcony, but the window was big, so I was able to smoke occasionally with their permission. The bathroom vanities need to be replaced, but I knew that I was going cheap because I wanted a good deal. I would stay here again.
