Everything in the room was new and clean. The offered amenities were very good. The gym has everything you need to workout properly. The staff was helpful, friendly and polite. The location is very good, and despite the busy street, the insulation is working perfectly so sleeping was easy.

-There was no swing on the balcony despite that it is advertised. And actually the swing was one of the reasons to book the type of room I booked(superior double). -The internet speed was very bad on the 7th floor that my room was. -The room could be bigger, especially since in the photos looked big. -The breakfast could be better. There was variety of products, but for example the fruit selection was very basic.

I consider myself very lucky to have found this hotel as I'm extremely picky. The hotel was impeccable and enjoys an excellent location which is just literally less than a minute to Istiklal street. I was concerned that my requests may not entirely be met as I specifically requested for a higher room with balcony (as I'm a smoker and don't like to smoke inside the room). The hotel team communicated with me and, to my surprise, they have booked me exactly what I was looking for!!! The room was very spacious, brand new. The beds and sheets were extremely comfortable and cleanliness was superb. What amazed me also is their attention and their warm welcome. They genuinely care about their guests! As I was staying during New Year, they placed me a gift and a personalized letter that was very lovely. Upon check-in, the reception team was very accommodating and explained all services and same thing upon check-out. Breakfast was varied and neat. I really recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Istanbul. I know for sure I will certainly book Mukarnas hotel as I frequently travel to Istanbul across the year and hope to get the same room when I return next time.

The Murkarnas Pera Hotel checked all our boxes. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were genuinely friendly and gracious. Breakfast was of high quality and offered an excellent variety. The room was modern and offered everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this property.

I'd recommend it to everyone Positives • New Hotel, Infrastructures on top • Quality service delivery, everyone is just so courteous • Perfectly located (Istiklal street is 5 mins walk, also close to taksim square, galata - approx 20 mins walk) • Pharmacy is next to the hotel • Metro station is 10-15mins walk • The number of restaurants/shops near the hotels, omg • Bed is sublimely comfortable, did not miss my bed • Very clean room, staff's hospitality on top • Gym is nice (open 24hrs) - but there should be a protocol for guests to bring their towels, found some gym equipments to be damp in sweats/water previously used by guests • No issues with air conditioning

Improvements • Food - Breakfast was dry & sometimes cold (also try adding some baked beans) • Paying for fresh orange juice (2 lira if not mistaken)

The hotel was new, great location (a stone throw away from Istiklal Street), well managed and clean. The room with a hamam was as depicted in the photos and clean. Bed was comfortable, all amenities were present, and everything smelled fresh. The housekeeper, Ms. Pervin, was so nice, changed our sheets and towels on a daily basis. Breakfast area was neat and food was aplenty (and delicious too). Staff at breakfast were very attentive and accommodating. We need to recognize the staff working at the reception, specifically Manger Fatih and Bellboy Kerem, who went out of their way to accommodate us. In fact, they made great recommendations for dinner and cultural shows, made reservations for us, which we do appreciate, but most of all they made us feel like part of their hotel family! The room service was excellent, with our room always being clean and tidy, and the team promptly delivering parcels or any other requests we had. What really stood out was how the staff went above and beyond—offering thoughtful recommendations on places to visit, how to get around, and where to find anything we needed, making our experience even more enjoyable and personal.

it’s brand new spotless clean! what surprised me most is staff professionalism.. all of them! from reception to cleaning lady to concierge and last but not least the waiters at breakfast. I don’t want to forget anyone but Aisha from breakfast took good care of us. I have stayed in 5 star hotels in Istanbul and always had issues with staff attitude. mukarnas pera wins.

The staff is really nice and friendly, special thanks to Yusuf who was super helpful and always ready to assist. I don't remember all the names, but during breakfast, there was a sweet lady called Aycha, and another gentleman working in the same shift who provided us with recommendations on where to go and what to avoid. The breakfast was fantastic with a large variety and different options each day. Our room was spacious and very clean. Will definitely come back!

It was all good, but if I had to say something, when we returned to the room after it had been closed, there was a weird smell, perhaps because it was in the basement. However, once we opened the windows, the smell disappeared.

The staff is great and very helpful. The rooms are clean. The location is wonderful. The breakfast was good as well. Lots of choices.. The servers were very nice bringing customize eggs and teas and coffee! I really appreciate that! I would recommend to stay here.

I had some smoking smell sometimes maybe because of the guests smoking . Some loud music noises but it was not super loud. It didn't bother me much. Otherwise no issues. Please be careful of the website booking . Com , I got scammed and my credit card was compromised. I received a message saying my card was not working, that I had to insert my card again. I did it and got screwed as they took money from my card!! This is not hotel fault, this is booking . Com website being comprised. Hotel was understanding and told me you can pay on site when you come as I was not comfortable giving my card again. I recommend booking directly and not through this website!!
