Hotel is situated in the heart of Fatih, near all main attractions just few steps/minutes from Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and has a beautiful terrace view from the restaurant for breakfast on Blue mosque, Hagia Sofia and Bosphorus. Breakfast was very good, we have enjoyed having it on the terrace. Rooms are beautiful, big and extremely clean. Beds are very comfortable, finally normal king size bed for tall people like us and finally slept like a baby (after being in another hotels in Istanbul and other cities/hotels in Turkey where queen size bed is mostly common within rooms). Bathroom was spacious, towels changed every day and extremely clean. All in all hotel, location and main attractions were great! On top of everything, hotel stuff was very professional, helpful and English speaking. Their hospitality was extremely great, 11/10! Thank you stuff of hotel Saba, we will come back again! :-)

Saba Hotel Super clean, easy to reach, comfortable and with a very helpfull staff hotel The reservation process was uncomplicated, and the staff were ready to answer any questions or information prior to our arrival. Getting there: the hotel is both by car or train easy to reach. There is a train station close to it which allows an easy access from both airports. We arrived on the asian side and got to the hotel in about an hour. Hotel location: the hotel is in the old town and close to all the major tourist attractions like the Blue Mosque (5 minutes on foot), the Raqia Sofia ( 10 minutes on foot) and the Grand Bazaar ( 20 minutes on foot). If you get there by taxi from the airport ( about 30€) and you don't have too much luggage or any mobility impediments, then ask your driver to leave you in the bottom of the street, as the streets in the old town are too too narrow and depending on the time of the day jammed with cars. Checking in: upon arrival we found a cozy and well decorated lobby with a friendly and helpful gentleman, who took care of our luggage and helped my mother up the entrance stairs ( about 5 steps). They have an elevator to the upper levels. They speak many languages like English, German, Portugueses, Spanisch....... The check in procedure was pleasant and overall we had an excellent experience with all the staff members at the reception desk and in the breakfast section. Services at the reception desk: they offer everything you need to have an enjoyable experience. They offer a cheap travel SIM card from 7-14 days. They organize all the tours from the hop on hoppy off bus to river cruises, and they arranged for us to be picked up from and brought back to the hotel. Everything can be paid in Euros or Dollars. They give you all the tips and tricks you need to get around the city and avoid being ripped off by scammers. Breakfast: the breakfast fast area is at the top of the building with a great view of the Blue Mosque and the Raqia Sofia.

The location was amazing, so convenient to explore the city! The view from the breakfast bar was great too with many savoury and sweet options for breakfast. Staff were kind and willing to help at all times. Great value for money overall!

We would have liked more pillows in the room. Also it was slightly noisy as we could hear other people from neighbouring flats on calls or chatting on their balconies. Finally the entrance doors to all rooms make a really loud sound when they slam and we would wake up several times in the morning when people from other rooms would leave for breakfast.

Excellent!! The best hotel someone could choose for a short(or longer of course) stay in Istanbul! Amazing location(few steps away from the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern). As for the room, we got a free update, that is a room with view(hayat) on Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, that was marvellous! Friendly staff, very good breakfast, very convenient transport service to the airport! Thank you very much! Best of the best! Teşekkür ederim!

The hotel is perfectly located right around the corner from the major sights in Sultanahmet. Breakfast was a nice buffet with everything you need with a great view from the rooftop. The rooms were fine, nothing really noteworthy. Staff was helpful for anything I needed. The overall value was super since it was well located and really had everything you'd need for a stay.

The street in front is a bit noisy at night, not really the hotel's fault. Just something to be aware of. I travel with earplugs, so that fixed that. Across from my room there was a BLAZING street light that the curtains couldn't block out. If sleeping in the pitch black is your thing, that room won't cut it.

I like the location of the property. Was very close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. The staff were excellent and very kind. The cleaning group who cleaned our room did a great job. The breakfast was very good also.

The things I did not like about the property was the TV did not work and there was issues with the AC.

The location was amazing! it's the number one reason to choose this hotel!!! We easily walked to the most famous historical sites in the neighborhood and there were plenty of cafes and restaurants as well. It was also pretty close to public transportation. The breakfast was great and it had a variety of options. It's served on the room so there is also a great view of the historical sites as well as great food.

We were there at a time of year when it wasn't cold but it wasn't hot enough for AC. So, the room was very warm but when we opened the windows/doors to cool off it was so noisy that we had trouble sleeping. It was not a dealbreaker though, just an inconvenience.

The location of Hotel Saba is excellent for being a tourist in Istanbul. It is easy walking distance to the Hagia Sofia, Bleu mosque, the Cistern, the grand bazaar and the local tram stations that allow you to quickly and easily reach the spice bazaar and the boats at the Bosporus. We used these boats to quickly get about further Around the city. The view from the breakfast terrace is amazing, with the blue mosque, Agra Sofia and the Bosporus all in view. The breakfast is varied every day and plentiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was new and the shower was good. The hotel was clean.

Our room was on the top floor with the breakfast terrace and although it had an amazing view of the Bosporus it was a very hot room because it was all windows, the smell and noise of breakfast came early in the morning and the curtains did not cover all of the windows so it was very light.

Fabulous location for exploring the old city. Only a few minutes walk to major sights and also close to Sultanahmet tram stop. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast to set you up for the day and view from the breakfast room terrace is superb. Hotel located on a side street which is relatively quiet for a city centre location. No intrusive traffic noise at night. Room clean and comfortable. My room deal included a free taxi transfer from IST airport, which went very smoothly.

No significant negatives. Just two minor points: I stayed 5 nights and the tea and coffee sachets in the room did not appear to be automatically replenished every day. To be fair, when I asked about it, it was taken care of immediately. Second minor point: having breakfast on the terrace is a great experience but watch out for the seagulls - if you leave your breakfast unattended they will help themselves to your breakfast!

Great location. Room was comfortable with table two armchairs wardrobe and safe. Clean wellappointed bathroom. Terrace breakfast is continental plus with a superb outlook. We went out there in the evening by ourselves. Mustafa was extremely helpful and handled our airport transfer which saved us a lot. Walking distance to Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Very close to hidden gem Blue Mosque Bazaar where prices much cheaper than Grand Bazaar. A walk thru takes you the street with the rooftop terrace restaurants. All in all highly recommend Hotel Saba...not luxurious but does its job well.

Air con directed draught over one bed. Room a little on the small size. No ice, no corkscrews to enjoy a wine on the terrace... a 1st world problem. Well outweighed by positives.
