I spent 8 days at the A'la Sofia Hotel with my daughter. Everything was perfect. The staff is very friendly, as is the owner. The location is perfect. I give it a 10 because it's close to the famous Blue Mosque in Sultanahmet, just 5 minutes away, and close to the Hagia Sophia Mosque and other monuments. The breakfast was very varied and good, and everything was clean. The location is easy to find, and it's also quiet and safe. I recommend it.

This hotel was situated in the old city center on the European side of Istabul. The area was clean, safe and provided idea assessibilty to the iconic Blue mosque. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. The breakfast was lovely, but get there early because if not most hot dishes were cold. For the price, this hotel is worth it. The rooms were humble, but each had a TV with a pretty good selection of international and national news stations. The facility was clean, however there was a slight sent at times from the plumbing, old world water scent. My room was cleaned each day and new linens were provided. Only soap and shampoo were provided, but I did not ask for anything else, there could have been other things provided. They arranged a 30 euro cab for me to the airport on the day of my departure which was super convenient. All and all, for the price, the location and the demeanor of the staff this is definitely a place to consider.

We had a wonderful stay here! The hotel is small but clean and offers fantastic value for money. Emir, in particular, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. We had an issue with our room, but it was resolved the same day with no hassle. The little touches like free water and coffee in the room were much appreciated, and the buffet breakfast exceeded our expectations—it was much better than we anticipated for the price. The 24-hour reception was a great convenience as well. Highly recommend this hotel for a budget-friendly and pleasant stay!

Hotel is a very clean, beds are comfortable and rooms are very nice overall - not too small as expected for this area. Hotel staff is very polite and helpful. Breakfast is decent, mostly important it was always very fresh. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Location is perfect, only few minutes walk of the most important attractions of the city and a good starting point for everything. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come back.

Very friendly staff and ready to help.. felt like you are living at one of your fav relative's house :) Amir at the front desk was very cooperative and made sure we had what we requested. For a 3 star place, breakfast was decent and energetic enough to kick start your day. The location was great as you see the ocean from the street and walking distance from the blue mosque and all other attractions. We had a family room with a king and 2 twin beds that suited our needs. For the price we paid, it was very well valued. Thanks

The breakfast and reception area is a bit congested, The hotel doesn't have a roof top which could have been a nice addition. Other than that no issues.

The location is amazing. It's literally a 5 min walk to Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Sultanahmet tram stop and probably about 10min to the Grand Bazaar and Egyptian Bazaar. The front desk staff were helpful and always friendly. The bed is made daily, clean towels are provided and bins cleaned out. There are many restaurants and cafes in the area. The hotel itself is located in a more quiet side street so there is hardly any noise from outside. Breakfast in the hotel is very decent. I can definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay there again.

The only negative is sound insulation. You can hear every sound from the other rooms, when they shower, when they flush the toilet, when they talk, when something is being moved, when a door closes, etc.

The hotel was great! The staff very kind and willing to help with anything we needed. The room is as it appeared in the photos! Clean and comfortable. At breakfast there was a variety and it was not the same food every day. As for the location, the best place to stay and have the main attractions of Istanbul close to you (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilika Cisterna, Topkapi are within 5-10 minutes walking distance). And being so near, we had the opportunity of seeing these sights at every hour of the day, since we could constantly pass by, not only when we actually visited them. The location was beautiful and quiet and quite close there is a road where several shops for food and drink are housed. And all this at a very good price.

The location was perfect — close to restaurants, shops, and main attractions. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options.

It was so great and perfect, we had such a good time at this property, they were so kind, welcoming and they helped us with everything we needed. The hotel in near the main attractions, like 10minutes walk. it is also close to the tram line, a fact that helps you explore Istanbul much easier. Breakfast was good as well.☺️ We fell in love with this hotel and with Istanbul🥰Totally recommend!

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful esp Dilnoze,Asad and Abdullah. Location was excellent, very close to Blue mosque , Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sofia as well as tram stop.Family room was nice and spacious and breakfast was good!Would definitely recommend this value for money hotel.
