The location was excellent, on a quiet side street with no traffic noise. Despite its vicinity to the Blue Mosque the early morning call to prayer was hardly noticeable with double glazing. Metro, good restaurants and sights all within an easy stroll. Breakfast was excellent with a terrace view to die for. Staff pleasant and overall comfort high, nice beds.

The hotel room and beds were clean but they really let themselves down with a mouldy bathroom. While they kept the floor, toilet, basin and shower/bath clean the walls and ceiling had been left to run down. Some mould is understandable, particularly as we were there in winter but the mould was excessive on the ceiling with paint peeling off and the tile wall above the bath was simply not being cleaned. Some off the walls were badly scuffed and some simple paint maintenance would go a long way to tidy the place up.

I loved the generous and lovely breakfast spread, with a breathtaking view of the sea and the Blue Mosque to boot! I had also requested for a room where I could get a good view of the blue mosque, and they managed to give me this room! The view of the mosque from the covered balcony of my room is breathtaking! I just loved sitting there and enjoying the view. My husband and I did our work there too--in the terrace. My thanks to Murat especially. He is an excellent staff, who is an asset to the hotel. My thanks also go to the owners and managers who were also very kind and who gave us this room. I would definitely stay here again when I come to Istanbul, and I would recommend this hotel to everyone! It is very very close to all the sights in Sultanahmet.

1-Bath Tub height too high. Dangerous. Slip and fall 2-Reception desk worker Mahmud always says” check from Google” when ever I ask him a question. Not a good reply

The location was unbeatable - close to everything and not too loud (most of the nights). The staff was very friendly and helpful, the transfer driver brought us right to the steps of the hotel. The rooms are small, but clean and overall nice and cozy, and the breakfast on the rooftop is top-notch.

It was not an issue for us, but people with limited mobility may find it difficult to use the shower - the bathtub in our room had a knee-high border, and the tiles on the floor got slippery.

5 Stars for Location! A few touristic locations are in walkable distance. Staffs are friendly. Location is good for shopping, evening walk, good restaurants are nearby. I recommend this hotel.

Need to put a kettle, and coffee maker. Because we had read the reviews early, we carried a kettle with us. A kettle is a must during winter seasons. No iron box inside the room. But, they have ironing room.

Fehmi bey is like our second home.That was our fifth visit in this hotel.Everything on walking,Blue Mosque is only 2 minutes by walk ,Hagia Sophia 5 minutes, old Grand Bazaar withen 10 minutes All kind of restaurants and shops there.U can take a tram to OMINONU where u can go to Asia side on by ferry in 15 minutes and if u plan to go Bursa u can take a ferry from YENIKEPY may i spell wrong but it 2 kilometres away from Fehmi bey by taksi.Breakfast is ver nice not only for locals also for international travellers and the stunning sea view from breakfast hall and there is also sitting area out side in fresh air.Breakfast serveves on the top floor.There is lift to al hotel room floors .

The air conditioning is not that strong it take time to coo the room .And this time breakfast was good as always but repeated all 4days we stayed.Over all i definitely recommend to stay in the heart of Istunbul (Sultanahmet).

The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia were just a 3-minute walk away, while the Grand Bazaar was within 10 minutes. Room: While the hotel itself may be a bit older, it was well-maintained and had a charming atmosphere. Our room was clean, and comfortable, and offered stunning views of the city, including the sea, Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sophia. We were incredibly lucky to have a room with such a breathtaking view. The terrace was a particularly lovely spot to enjoy breakfast, taking in the panoramic views of the city (Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sophia) and the sea. Staff: The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were always willing to assist with any questions or requests we had. In particular, I'd like to mention Beka (hope I spelt his name right), who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. The local knowledge we got from him was invaluable. Breakfast: The hotel's breakfast was a highlight of our stay. With a wide variety of options, including fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, sausages, vegetables, and other delicious choices, there was something to satisfy everyone. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the hotel's location and the quality of the food. Traffic: While traffic in Istanbul can be heavy, especially during peak hours, the hotel's location provided easy access to public transportation, making it convenient to get around the city. Overall impression: I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The room facilities are a bit old and basic, could be made better with some improvements/upgrading.

Good beautiful terrace view, breakfast here with the view was beautiful, helpful staff cleaners came and cleaned to an excellent standard everyday. Can hear adhaan from room very clearly AC works well. Sultanahmet mosque 2 minute walk away. Has a lift albeit small. I would stay here again.

Advert mentions they provide kettle and tea amenities but this was not provided. However when we asked for a kettle this was given promptly, and we bought disposable cups and tea items from local grocery store. Windows let in quiet a lot of sound from outside but I sleep with ear plugs so this didn’t affect me as much. Interior could do with some modernisation but was impeccably clean so the interior didn’t matter to us very much.

This hotel is amazing. It matches the description and pictures. Small cozy rooms, but sufficient for a stay in Istanbul, if you are traveling as a tourist. Exceptionally clean, bathroom and shower on the spot. Breakfast was really good, it is in the concept of Turkish breakfast (regarding the food), so I enjoyed it. It is also on the roof terrace and has an amazing view of both the Blue Mosque and Bosphorus. Location is, I think perfect, literally 2mins to Sultanahmet and Blue Mosque. Saved this hotel for the next time.

The hotel was clean and I loved the accessories used for design in the traditional way. The air conditioning worked properly although it was hot outside, I appreciated the fact that every time the ladies cleaned the room offered always bottles of water and put them for us in the mini refrigerator. The breakfast included was delicios and variated. And the personal of the reception was so nice even though we came so late at night, he offered us help every time we needed a taxi or advice about attractions in the city. I cannot expect to return. Thank you for your warm welcome for our first visit in Istanbul. 🫡
