If I could have given our stay at Four-G Hotel, the staff and especially Kardeşler Kadir, Celal and Aykut an 11/10 I would have done so! I have stayed in Istanbul a couple of times before, and this is the best hotel I have stayed in by far. The service received was 11/10. The staff made us feel at home and became our family, the hotel is exceptionally clean and location ideal! I plan to revisit Istanbul in the near future, and will without any hesitation be booking Four-G Hotel.

This property is in the Faith Section of Istanbul. It is a five minute walk to the T1 tram, Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome, and the Blue Mosque. There are many restaurants featuring all sorts of Turkish foods. Please be advised that Istanbul has hills. If walking to the property from the T1 tram, there is a road to the west of the Hippodrome that is very flat making walking easier in both north & south. One more street over to the west is very steep. Also, walking to the mosques is reasonably flat. Walking anywhere else from this property will be hilly. That being said, if you are planning to visit the Hagia Sophia, this hotel is a great option. Istanbul’s taxis can be quite expensive and the public transportation is the not the easiest experience. Staying at hotel away from the Hagia Sophia even while still being in Istanbul will probably cause you to spend at least an hour traveling to it and another hour traveling back. A much better option is staying close by within walking distance. The hotel staff is very helpful and accommodating. Before arriving, the hotel offered to schedule a taxi from the airport ($40). Upon arriving, they greeted us with waters and took time to describe the sights of Istanbul. The day before leaving, they left a huge fresh fruit plate as a thanks for staying with them. The next day, we had a very early flight out of Istanbul. The staff scheduled a taxi for us and prepared a free take-away breakfast. The taxi was waiting for us at 4:15AM. Our room was serviced daily. The hotel offers a daily breakfast. We did not try it while we stayed. Our room featured a comfortable bed, a good A/C, a safe, a mini fridge, a large bathroom with a nice shower, and a bathroom vanity with plenty of counter space. There were no chairs in the main room, however there were two chairs and a small table in an alcove of the room. I can only imagine this alcove is a smoking area in the room.

The view from the balcony was not picturesque, but there isn’t much anybody can do about that.

Perfect location, ideal for the first visit to Istanbul. The room was upgraded for free to a better one with a nice view to the sea. Staff was super helpful and nice with great attention to our requests. Breakfast was good - not extraordinary, but I personally got everything I needed.

Sound isolation is not great, be ready to start your morning at 6 am with a loud mosque prayers. Poor ventilation, not enough fresh air in the room.

Amazing stay at FOUR G Hotel in Istanbul ! Everything was just perfect; lot of nice surprises starting with the upgrade of our room free of charge, accommodation of the transport from/to the airport, warm welcome, basket of fruits offered a couple of times during our stay, coffee and tea offered every time we were coming back from outside ! Kadir and the team were very nice and kind to us, always trying to help and facilitate our discovery of the city. The room was very comfortable and quiet despite overlooking the street, large and comfortable bed; last but not least the hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and all the other historic places ! Breakfast was very rich, offering a large choice of delicious food, fruits and vegetables !

The different receptionists and their colleagues at Four-G Hotel have been nothing less than amazing and they are the ones that made the experience a 10/10 for me. I came to Turkey for my honeymoon with my wife and let them know the assignment. They understood everything and made sure that our experience was perfect. From booking cruises, helping with transportation and being very understanding and kind, there wasn't a single point I was concerned. They are located very close to the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia in the Sultanahmet so the location is amazing. Aside from being very close to historical sites, it's very easy to move from one location to the next all around Istanbul using the tram. Not far from it, you'll find that you're also very close to the water and can enjoy the amazing view and breeze there too. You'll find that you can access most places from the hotel. What solidified this experience being a 10/10 was the fact that there was an issue that occured with the cleanliness of the room, that issue stemmed from old orange juice I bought from a restaurant and unfortunately it led to a mess because it burst. Despite feeling the frustrstions from the cleaning crew, the receptionists were beyond kind and understanding of the circumstances and wouldn't allow me to be concerned despite my offering to pay for any inconvenience there. The last day/night involved the team checking in on us, providing a sweet and kind message and lastly a gift package for the goodbye. After 7 days at the Four-G hotel, I can confidently say I recommend this hotel to anybody heading to Istanbul!

The best thing about this place is stuff and owner. We didn't pay for breakfast, but still, they insisted that we visit breakfast at least once for free and suggested complimentary breakfast at our ealy checkout. The breakfast was very good. Location is great, everything interesting and T1 tram stop is in walking distance. Also, you can just enjoy quiet evening time on Sultanahmet square. Good amenities, hair drier, shower, water - they are better than in most hotels I stayed before. Sometimes even in 4 star hotels you won't find this. The bed was a bit too soft for me, but everything else exceeded my expectations.

The only thing which is different from hotel description is soundproofing. If your neighbours are going back and forth at night, it might be quite noisy. I suppose it should be possible to do something with door locks to make them quieter. But I consider that as a minor thing

The property is perfectly located for walking and metro to see all of the main attractions. The staff is exceptional and made us feel like family. The breakfasts were fabulous and the service unsurpassed! Highly recommended!!

Rooms were very clean and functional, and got upgraded for free! It is extremely close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The staff contacted us on WhatsApp before we arrived in Turkiye and organised an airport shuttle which was very convenient. The staff also helped us organise a public transport card which made getting around Istanbul very easy. Every member of the staff was friendly and kind, offering us complementary coffee and water from the lobby. The breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations. We would happily stay again and would recommend this hotel to our friends.

The sea view rooms on the upper floors have a stunning views. The breakfast room and courtyard were lovely and quaint, much better designed than most breakfast rooms I have been to. The rooms are very clean, the bed and sheets very comfy. There is a fridge and just across the road, a few shops down is a cafe that sells wine and whatever else one needs. The guys at reception were brilliant, always offering tea or water and ready to help with bags or whatever request one had. Hotel is very close to market and mosques and tons of rooftop restaurants for that stunning not to be missed nighttime view over Istanbul.

Everything. From the location to the staff. The hotel location is amazing and close by to everything. The breakfast is equally amazing with a great taste of Turkish cuisine. The hotel staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and feel welcomed. They even surprised my wife with a complementary fruit platter for her birthday, which was waiting for us when we came back. And just to show their dedication, they changed a bedsheet that had been changed just an hour earlier, and did so happily, as the our little baby leaked on the bed while sleeping. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. And their dedication to customer service was right the way to the end when our taxi was late. They spoke to the taxi operator and driver to check where he was and make sure he arrived as he has been booked. So all in all a 5 star stay, from to location to welcoming nature and everything else in between. Oh and they also upgraded our room free of charge.
