Malik and Yunus took such excellent care of us that I genuinely felt like I had returned home after visiting family. From the moment I booked to our check-in and check-out, the experience was exceptional. Our group, consisting of 8 people with over 10 pieces of luggage, booked two family suites. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and impeccably clean. Given our limited time in Cappadocia, they graciously stored our luggage at the hotel for almost two days. This level of hospitality ensures that I will only choose this hotel for all my future visits. They accommodated late checkouts, organized fantastic transportation, and patiently answered my numerous questions with a constant smile. The property is conveniently located close to all the attractions you would like to see when in Istanbul. But lets not forget this hotel rooftop will give you the most breathtaking view of the mosque. Breakfast is Turkish and something I looked forward to everyday during my stay. I cant wait to book the property again for my next visit! Thank you Yunus and Malik for looking after us so well!!

Extremely well located hotel, 100 yards from the end of the Hippodrome and 3 minutes' walk to the Blue Mosque. Fabulous view of the Blue Mosque from the roof terrace and from the 4th floor breakfast room. Tasty and plentiful breakfast. Very helpful staff, willing to arrange tours if that is what you need. Some good little touches such as use of umbrellas.

We requested and were given a non smoking room, however cigarette smoke pervaded the hotel, and it was evident from the smell that our neighbours on the floor were smoking, and that got into our room. We did mention it but not much was done about it apart from a thorough clean on the day it was mentioned. For a non smoker, that seriously detracted from the quality of the stay. Clearly a visit to Istanbul is not going to be a cigarette smoke free experience, but I do think the hotel could do more to make its rooms a refuge for non smokers rather than uncomfortably more of the same. If it did, then the hotel rating for me would be close to a 10.

the most beautiful and valuable thing in this hotel is the staff. very caring and kind to every detail. and you will be pleasantly surprised when you see that the entire staff is like one big family that loves every guest and will always greet you as the most welcome guest. i will definitely come back to you again when i find myself in Istanbul again…

This little hotel is so perfectly located in the Sultanahmet square. From the restaurant, you get a gorgeous view of the Blue Mosque. It's a special way to start the day at breakfast, which is, by the way, lovely! Additionally, the hotel is generous enough to provide you with coffee and tea at the restaurant if you want to sit there and have a chat in the night, looking over the glorious view. The rooms are spacious and classy. The toilet trimmings and everything in the rooms have been done so very tastefully and you feel very at home immediately. What ties everything together is the staff. From the moment you step into the hotel, you're greeted with warmth and kindness. Every member of staff is warm and friendly. This is no substitute for anything under the sun.

There's nothing that I didn't like.

First of all, I would like to point out that the strength of this hotel is the staff: friendly, ready to give you tips and help. The hotel's position is noteworthy, close to the area of ​​interest (cultural/commercial), easy to reach tourist attractions and public transport connections (tram T2). The view offered by the hotel terrace, but also by the breakfast restaurant is special (you can see the Bosphorus/Marmara Sea and the Sultanahmed Mosque). The breakfast is diversified and with local specifics. We used a room for three people with comfortable beds, well equipped and cleaned daily.

It was a dream to be so close to the city’s history and culture yet have a serene space to return to each day. The Rooms & Amenities The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, combining modern comfort with traditional charm. The amenities were thoughtfully curated, leaving us wanting for nothing. And the terrace? Absolutely breathtaking, offering a stunning view of the Blue mosque and sea was a perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening wind-down. The Breakfast Let me just say, the breakfast alone is worth the stay. The variety, quality, and freshness were beyond anything we’ve experienced, even better than paid restaurants. Each bite felt like a celebration of Turkish cuisine. The Service The staff at HaciBayram Hotel are simply incredible. They went above and beyond to ensure every moment of our stay was perfect. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel right at home. If I could rate this hotel 11/10 stars, I would. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience, a memory, and a feeling of being cared for like family. We can’t wait to come back!

WiFi could improve

- good location - nice and helpful staff - spacious and clean room

- bed is not very comfortable - room in 4th floor is opposite to the breakfast area so it was a bit noisy in addition to noise from water sounds in pipes or so - no daily water bottles although it was mentioned that two bottles are free daily

There are two things that stand out with HaciBayram: The staff and the location, in that specific order. Every single member of the team was there to assist you with a smile, always a great attitude and insightful tips. We've traveled a lot and this was one of the best services provided by hotel staff. Even after our check out, when we experienced an issue with our pre-booked taxi that was supposed to take us to the airport, they waited with us on the street, 100m away from the hotel, to ensure our alternative ride and avoid missing our flight. The location is unmatched; two steps away from Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque, and 5 mins from the Sultanahmet station that brings you to several other points of interest. The rooms were very clean at all times and the breakfast was on the basic side but adequate and tasteful. All in all, HaciBayram is a gem and I can't recommend it enough to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment I booked they sent me a message asking if I was celebrating anything special and also provided info on transportation. This hotel is right by the Sultan Ahmet (Blue Mosque). It was so easy to get around and find our way back to the hotel. The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and clean. There was also a brilliant view of the mosque from the small terrace area where breakfast is served. Please note: US travelers you will need to buy an outlet converter make sure it is for Türkiye and not the UK. I bought mine on Amazon for less than $10. Also anywhere in Türkiye you will hear the calls for prayer. This hotel was very close and while we heard it from the room during the day we were not awaken by it. I do use a sound machine to sleep and suggest anyone who is a light sleeper bring one no matter where you stay in Türkiye.

There was nothing that I did not like about the property.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. Location : two minutes away from the beautiful park that was once the Hippodrome of Constantinople, so we could just walk few minutes to get to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi Palace, without depending on taxis or public transportation. We had a magnificent view of the Blue Mosque from our room and also from the terrace where breakfast was served. The reception staff could not be friendlier and more helpful. They gave us a lot of useful information, arranged airport transfer, made reservations for us to restaurants and Dervish show. Also made conversation with us late at night, when we were coming back to the hotel. :) Breakfast was delicious. Eggs, different kinds of cheese, cold cuts, Turkish mezze, olives, different breads, pastries, fruits, coffee, cappuccino. The kitchen staff was very polite and friendly, they were making omelets or fried eggs to order, one day they made a cake and served us to the table, also they would make Turkish coffee for us at any time of the day. Really amazing! Also, the kitchen and breakfast area were immaculate, as the rest of the hotel.
