A very small hotel but well located, very close to the Blue Mosque. We had a big room with two big size double beds. The mattress were extremely comfortable. Plenty of towels, drinkable water, tea bags, a frigo, water heater, big tv. They cleaned the room everyday and changed the dirty towels. Personal were very polite and attentive. Breakfast a bit simple, not very good quality products but it was enough to start the day. Great views at night of the Blue Mosque all illuminated.

Stairs were narrow, big steps, that were not a problem for us but they should mention that in the info in case you are a person with reduced mobility. Curtains were old and a bit ripped out and they were too short to cover all the windows, too much clarity in the morning. Breakfast not of the best quality.

We had a pleasant stay at Nika Otel during our visit to Istanbul. The location is truly perfect—just a short walking distance from all the main tourist attractions, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The staff were amazing—very helpful and exceptionally friendly, especially with our kids. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even surprising our 7-year-old daughter with balloons for her birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our experience memorable. However, the hotel’s narrow and steep stairs with only ropes for support were a bit of a downside. They felt unsafe, especially for children, so it’s something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with little ones. Breakfast was decent, served from 8 to 10 a.m., and their tea was particularly enjoyable. Overall, while there are some minor drawbacks, the hospitality and location more than make up for it. A great option for families and travelers looking to explore Istanbul!

The staff were wonderful - really helpful and went out of their way to ensure things were right. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and the young lad on the desk ensured that we had all the information that we needed. It really was a safe stay and the location was exceptional. Breakfast was fresh and there was a good choice. Fresh omelettes cooked daily by the lovely staff - there was a lovely lady who was super helpful. Although the dining area is quite small - as people were getting up at different times we all seemed to manage well. The cafe is super convenient as it is part of the small hotel. It’s a stones throw away from the Blue Mosque well almost…. All the staff including the boys from the parking lot opposite and the shops at the side were brilliant at looking after everyone. Thank you for looking after us!

The location is perfect and the room is comfortable. There are places to eat nearby, as well as a supermarket and a pharmacy. The staff is so nice and helpful and the breakfast is good enough to start the day and jump directly into the main attractions in Istanbul. They cook eggs for you at the moment :). Even though it's just a few steps from the Sultanahmet square, we never had noise problems in the room and we could sleep very well. No problems with water pressure and a comfortable mattress. I would definitely recommend it!

I like everything, simple and staff were friendly. Please take care the quality of the mattress. I love it!! Keep the bed under control so that when I am back I hope I can get the same quality

It would be nice to have exhaust for cooking, as the smell of breakfast disturbing the room, the smoke and smell of cooking was just a bit too much. Also, the fruits wasn’t complete, we can only have 2 types of fresh juice at cafe and they have over 5 selection. The lady cleaning the room was by herself, so don’t get confused if the linen isn’t change after 4 days even they said it will be change every 3 days. Bathroom needs a bit of cleaning details. We arrived with all soap dispenser empty. Maybe room check before arrival?

Our family of 4 stayed for just one night on a layover in Istanbul. The hotel was perfect for us, very central as we wanted to walk to everything. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Communication was excellent as they provided the managers what’s app contact on booking. The airport transfer was perfectly on time (although we did have to tell the driver to concentrate on the road rather than his phone). We felt secure about leaving our luggage for the day while we explored. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety. Great value for money.

The location and price were beyond exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for dinner and helping carry my luggage up the curved stairs. The room was clean and very cute, even providing a wall of succulents outside the window that opened to the tiny courtyard fire escape.

The shower did not have very good pressure and the shower lever was broken, so I had to hold the handheld to wash my hair. Also, they took my breakfast order when I checked in because I had to checkout at 3am to get to the airport. They told me it would be prepared and packaged to-go. When I checked out, they acted like I hadn't ordered anything and it would take 10 minutes to prepare, but I needed to leave for the airport and my driver was already there. I also had to pay for the driver in cash and that was not stated ahead of time. They told me I would pay the hotel, so I expected to pay with my card.

The rooms are quite big and very clean. The stuff was very helpfull and helped us with all our requests. The breakfast was very good, although we stayed for a longer period and kind of get bored of the same food everyday. The coffee was very good (it is not turkish coffee).

The double rooms are facing a wall that is 1 metre away, so if you stay on first 3 floors, you have no chace of seeing the sky. We asked to be moved to 4th floor and they did it, when the room was available.

The staff were Amazing, friendly so helpful and best of all the location, Dilara, Ahmed, the family members are all so wonderful, can't wait to visit again 💗

Ac sometimes went off and water shut off but this is out of their hands it is government issue but was helpful by providing us with water and fans thank you
