The location of Celine Hotel is unbeatable in termas of getting to the main sights in Sultanhamet. Easy walking distance to Hagia Sophia and to the grand bazaar. Close by the blue mosque and the ancient hippodrome site. The staff were extremely kind and helpful with all our enquiries, a pleasure to meet. The room was lovely and comfortable and spotlessly clean, great bath and shower. The breakfast each morning was delicious, lots of choice and again lovely helpful staff. Would certainly stay here again.

I suggest staying on the upper floors, for the view and also, because it is an old mansion, we could hear the people in the floor ablove walking about.

Staff were sensational could not have been more helpful in supporting us to navigate travel to and from destinations we were going to, their map was clear and local knowledge was invaluable. But they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Excellent facilities very elegant traditional Ottoman mansion and they retained the charm of that along with mod cons. We had a delightful balcony that looked out to the busy street below. Charming. Breakfast was excellent, not only a good buffet selection but also a choice of half a dozen hot egg based dishes from Menimen to mushroom omelette. Also a lovely complimentary platter on arrival of fresh dates figs and apricots and nuts.

The hotel is in a beautifully restored, high-ceilinged Ottoman mansion in an excellent location, just a ten minute walk from the Grand Bazaar and five minutes from Sultanahtmet square. It was so enjoyable to stay in a building with such history and character rather than a generic contemporary hotel you could find in any modern city. The staff at reception were exceptionally helpful with our queries about car rentals. The breakfast was delicious with lots of classic Turkish options at the buffets.

The coffee could have been better, but we have travelled from Australia so our standards are very high! The room was a little small for two large suitcases so we had to climb around them a bit to get in and out of bed.

Celine hotel is in the perfect location! It is minutes away from major landmarks by foot and very easy to find. The staff were incredible, who always offered recommendations and tips for navigating Istanbul. Despite a scammy taxi on our arrival, Celine Hotel made our experience tenfold times. The breakfast is impeccable- we always enjoyed our mornings in the peaceful patio, and the overall quality of the hotel is unbeatable. Unlike several hotels in the area, Celine Hotel has a luxurious yet classically Turkish feel. Thank you for our amazing stay and we hope to visit again soon!

This hotel has real character with a genuinely authentic feel about it. The bedrooms have ottoman style furnishings and are clean and comfortable. Our room looked out at the back towards the Bosphorus in the distance. The breakfast room is lovely and airy with a nice ambiance. As for the location, although the hotel is located on the busy Peykhane Cd (street), you wouldn't know once you get inside. This also makes it perfect for sights like Constantine's column, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, all no more than a short walk. Our overriding memory, however, will be the helpfulness of the staff. My wife left some expensive jewellery in our room by mistake and after we left Istanbul for further travels in Turkey, staff contacted us to let us know that they had the missing valuables. They worked very hard to reunite us with the items and I would like to praise the honesty of the cleaning staff and also the efforts of the hotel manager, Mahmut Karatekin. Mahmut kept in touch with us throughout and was instrumental in arranging the return of the items. I can't praise either him or the hotel enough!

We loved everything, absolutely no complaints.

Everything was perfect, the staff were so lovely. They were so helpful and kind. Everything was absolutely perfect, it really was the highlight of our trip. Beds were super comfortable as well. walls were a bit thin, you could hear the people in the next room but it is expected as it is such an old building but it didn't bother us. It was still perfect, we would stay there again and recommend it as well. Location was perfect, right in the centre of the old town. 1 minute away from the great mosques. We had the sea view room and the sunset was absolutely beautiful. Our favourite part of the day was sitting by the window in the afternoon and watching the sun set

A great hotel 5 minute walk from the Blue Mosque. A large room with very comfortable bed. Beautiful furnishings with old world charm. Nice woodworking on the doors and furniture. Big bathtub. The staff are great. Very helpful and friendly. They even have an arrangement with a taxi company for a very reasonable rate to the airport. Lots of restaurants around the hotel. One very good one is Dubb, almost next door.

One minor suggestion. The breakfast is fine but this is a small hotel so don’t expect the huge buffet of a large hotel. I would suggest adding more fresh fruit if it’s available. Other than that I can’t think of anything that could be improved.

The location is prime! Safe walking distance from the buzz and tourist attractions. In the heart of it all The luxury rooms and impeccable quality bedding made for a wonderful stay and rest! The breakfast daily was such a treat! Peaceful environment with the most delish breakfast, naturally with a Turkish touch! The staff were an absolute highlight! Sahil treated us like family and was so helpful and respectful. The breakfast staff always had a smile on there face

Nothing, everything was perfect

Considering how well located the hotel is for the key tourist sights, it feels really calm and tucked away. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was excellent and very generous. Excellent value overall and I would stay there again.

The only couple of changes I would make would be to have Turkish coffee available and included with breakfast rather than a coffee machine, and perhaps more fresh fruit options at breakfast.

Excellent location. Very clean and comfortable room. Every day the room was cleaned by two ladies who made sure the room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious, and the spread was certainly impressive. Ms. Aygun, who was the hostess at the breakfast, was super friendly and gracious. She made sure we enjoyed our breakfast every morning. Then there was Ms. Esma who made mouthwatering cakes and cookies every morning. She also made for us Turkish breakfast items with eggs which were simply divine. I will be remiss if I didn’t thank the staff at the front desk who were very helpful. In particular Mr, Nevzati was absolutely wonderful who not only answered all my questions but he also made sure we had a wonderful time in Istanbul. Even though the checking time is 3 pm, he allowed my wife to check in at 8 am when she arrived at the hotel. In short, we had an absolutely great times Oklahoma and we will definitely stay at Celine Hotel again.
