The location of Celine Hotel is unbeatable in termas of getting to the main sights in Sultanhamet. Easy walking distance to Hagia Sophia and to the grand bazaar. Close by the blue mosque and the ancient hippodrome site. The staff were extremely kind and helpful with all our enquiries, a pleasure to meet. The room was lovely and comfortable and spotlessly clean, great bath and shower. The breakfast each morning was delicious, lots of choice and again lovely helpful staff. Would certainly stay here again.

I suggest staying on the upper floors, for the view and also, because it is an old mansion, we could hear the people in the floor ablove walking about.

Staff were sensational could not have been more helpful in supporting us to navigate travel to and from destinations we were going to, their map was clear and local knowledge was invaluable. But they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Excellent facilities very elegant traditional Ottoman mansion and they retained the charm of that along with mod cons. We had a delightful balcony that looked out to the busy street below. Charming. Breakfast was excellent, not only a good buffet selection but also a choice of half a dozen hot egg based dishes from Menimen to mushroom omelette. Also a lovely complimentary platter on arrival of fresh dates figs and apricots and nuts.

Everything was perfect, the staff were so lovely. They were so helpful and kind. Everything was absolutely perfect, it really was the highlight of our trip. Beds were super comfortable as well. walls were a bit thin, you could hear the people in the next room but it is expected as it is such an old building but it didn't bother us. It was still perfect, we would stay there again and recommend it as well. Location was perfect, right in the centre of the old town. 1 minute away from the great mosques. We had the sea view room and the sunset was absolutely beautiful. Our favourite part of the day was sitting by the window in the afternoon and watching the sun set

A great hotel 5 minute walk from the Blue Mosque. A large room with very comfortable bed. Beautiful furnishings with old world charm. Nice woodworking on the doors and furniture. Big bathtub. The staff are great. Very helpful and friendly. They even have an arrangement with a taxi company for a very reasonable rate to the airport. Lots of restaurants around the hotel. One very good one is Dubb, almost next door.

One minor suggestion. The breakfast is fine but this is a small hotel so don’t expect the huge buffet of a large hotel. I would suggest adding more fresh fruit if it’s available. Other than that I can’t think of anything that could be improved.

This hotel was truly a spectacular find! Pretty much everything deserves a mention. From its tasteful aesthetic and class, to the courteousness and etiquette of the staff. Everything was on point. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade at check-in, and our concierge was extremely hospitable, he helped a lot with the navigation around town. And EVERYTHING IS NEARBY!!! We were literally able to get back for naps too, it was glorious 😭😭😭 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE. Thank you so much for making our trip so memorable!!! PS: Breakfast is divine. So is their cute courtyard.

Nothing at all, but we got an excellent tip at upgrade time to always pick the room with a sea view if we prefer it to be extra quiet. Just because the street can be busy, and hence noisy. Just something to keep in mind.

The location is prime! Safe walking distance from the buzz and tourist attractions. In the heart of it all The luxury rooms and impeccable quality bedding made for a wonderful stay and rest! The breakfast daily was such a treat! Peaceful environment with the most delish breakfast, naturally with a Turkish touch! The staff were an absolute highlight! Sahil treated us like family and was so helpful and respectful. The breakfast staff always had a smile on there face

Nothing, everything was perfect

Excellent location. Very clean and comfortable room. Every day the room was cleaned by two ladies who made sure the room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious, and the spread was certainly impressive. Ms. Aygun, who was the hostess at the breakfast, was super friendly and gracious. She made sure we enjoyed our breakfast every morning. Then there was Ms. Esma who made mouthwatering cakes and cookies every morning. She also made for us Turkish breakfast items with eggs which were simply divine. I will be remiss if I didn’t thank the staff at the front desk who were very helpful. In particular Mr, Nevzati was absolutely wonderful who not only answered all my questions but he also made sure we had a wonderful time in Istanbul. Even though the checking time is 3 pm, he allowed my wife to check in at 8 am when she arrived at the hotel. In short, we had an absolutely great times Oklahoma and we will definitely stay at Celine Hotel again.

We loved everything about it, but pushed for an area of improvement it is soundproofing of the rooms. As is with older building, it can be noisy with visitors in other rooms. This is not a hindrance and does not take anything away from this great hotel. We would recommend it for anyone coming to Istanbul and who wants to discover the old city centre.

The location was super perfect - for a short stay it was ideal as you could pop back from all the main attractions for a siesta if needed! The tram was 5-6 minutes away. The staff were outstanding & the bed was super comfortable - a well stocked mini bar was also appreciated.

The call to prayer at 5am caught us a little unawares - it's almost impossible to get away from it. But that was the only time during the night - and with ear plugs, it was easily manageable! The breakfast is certainly local with a "sweet" emphasis - but with a large selection so something for everyone.

The breakfast was nice, good variety. The room was clean and comfortable. The area was pretty quiet at night. Very walkable to most major sites in the area. Public transport wasn't too far. Baggage holding on the final day after checkout was good. Reception was very helpful in answering questions for us and getting us a cab to the airport.

The music during breakfast 😂 it was the same every morning. The shower can kind of make a mess all over the bathroom with the way the door is on it and water pressure fluctuations.
