This hotel's best asset by far is the staff at the Reception desk. They are friendly, incredibly kind and really do their utmost to help with everything! They are amazing people! We booked the economy room. It was clean, spacious, basic, but covered our needs, i.e. air conditioning, kettle, WiFi, TV, private bathroom, towels were changed every day. The location is absolutely perfect! It's next to the Blue Mosque and Agia Sofia. It's within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar.....and also about 30 minutes walk from İstiklal, for shopping, and Taksim Square. We didn't need to use public transport at all The hotel is surrounded by eating places, coffee houses and bars....and also a supermarket. Their staff is top-notch. Everyone was very friendly and kind. The receptionist helped us check in early and extend our stay. Even when we needed another room due to flight issues and no other rooms available at the hotel, they tried to find us a room in a nearby hotel. We really appreciated that. The terrace view is beautiful, and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast was delicious. We recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Sultan Ahmed because of its strategic location, close to the city's attractions and plenty of delicious food nearby.

It's a bit difficult to get to this hotel if you're carrying a large suitcase, because the hotel access road is a narrow alley with rocky paving. But it's no problem for a backpack or smaller suitcase.

Sultanahmet Nu is pretty much my ideal hotel. It's in the heart of Istanbul, on the border of Cemberlitas and Sultanahmet. Aya Sofia, Topkapi, and much more are within walking distance. The rooms are clean and extraordinarily good value for the location. The staff are friendly and thoughtful. I'd like to give a particular shout-out to Javaid, who has been there for all my three visits, and who is an exceptionally bright and helpful young man... ...and the top floors really do have a sea view!

The Hotel was so easy to find. Then even though we arrived really early in the morning the reception staff was very friendly and helpful. They kept our luggage until our check in time and offered us some coffee and tea along with some helpful tips for our trip. The hotel is in the perfect location… only some minutes on foot from Aghia Sofia and Blue Mosque as well as from Grand Bazaar. There also were plenty of frequent buses and trams nearby. When we checked in the room was cute! Clean and comfortable with hand soap and shower gel and shampoo. There also had water bottles and some instant coffee and tea to have if we needed. The room view was also nice. In the morning we had booked for breakfast and the view from the terrace was amazing. The buffet breakfast was the perfect combination of European and Turkish cuisine. The variety was great and the kind buffet lady made us some fresh omelet cause there was non by the time we got to the breakfast. All in all our experience was great! The guys at the reception were all so kind and helpful! We also left our luggage the last day of our stay so we can wonder around the city a bit more. It was an amazing experience and we definitely are coming back!🤩

It was clean, staff was really pleasant and helpful, the location was awesome, it is a 5 minute walk to Sultanahmet. A lot of other tourist attractions are close as well. Guys on the reception speak English really well (which is not usual in Turkey, I don't know why). We also asked for and got a scale prior to checkout, so we didn't have surprises on airport with exceeding baggage limit. The terrace also had a nice view, and there is an elevator. The slippers and towels were changed daily, but I am not sure if it was vacuumed/mopped every day, so it wasn't exceptionally clean, but it was clean enough. The rooms are small, but for us it was enough. I saw a lot of bad reviews mentioning this, and even the guy on the reception reminded us of that, but I think that for this price - this is the average. We booked two rooms, economy and standard, but we got two standard rooms, which was great because we were all on the same floor.

The breakfast is scheduled from 8:30, but we waited until 9:30 for ours. And we didn't like the amount of food we got. We only paid that one day, and it was a good thing it was optional and you can pay by day. Sound insulation is poor. I guess you depend a lot on your neighbors. Our neighbors talked on the phone after midnight and it was really annoying. The hotel stated that the quiet hours are starting at 23:00. And it was a bit of problem for us because we have a baby. We didn't report it though, because a few knocks on the wall solved the issue :D I guess since the breakfast is optional, this is the only downside.

The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay truly enjoyable. The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance – Hagia Sophia, the main square, and the bazaar are all nearby. They also offer convenient airport transfer services. We arrived early in the morning due to our flight, and they graciously welcomed us to wait in the lobby until our room was ready, which was a huge help since we were traveling with a baby. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the rooftop terrace where breakfast is served offers a lovely experience. If we visit again, we’ll undoubtedly stay here. Highly recommended to everyone! We recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic hotel, and we can't say enough good things about our experience. First and foremost, the location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the city's attractions and get around without any hassle. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Their warm smiles and helpful attitudes set the tone for a wonderful stay. The rooms are not only comfortable but also impeccably clean, creating a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. We was particularly impressed with the amazing terrace view, which provided a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the scenery.

I appreciated several aspects of the Sultanahmet Nu Hotel. The location is fantastic, situated in the heart of Istanbul's historic old town and close to major attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar. The staff were exceptional, particularly Javidan, who was always helpful and accommodating. The terrace provided a lovely place to relax with beautiful views. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning was excellent during the hot days. Overall, the value for money was great.

1 day we did not get room service (cleaning) because we overslept and were still in our rooms.

Perfect location, very close to the T1 tram stop, which allows you to quickly get to various parts of the city. The city's popular monuments are close to the hotel. It is a few minutes' walk from the Blue Mosque through an interesting, atmospheric district. A perfect place to stay - very safe and original. Near the hotel there are eating places, restaurants, grocery stores, a park and the old town. The room has all the necessary things, including air conditioning. The staff takes care of cleanliness and changes towels every day. The hotel also has a nice terrace on the 7th floor overlooking the bay. The service cares about the customer.

The air conditioning in the room is mounted very close to the bed. You need to find a good way to position yourself so that the wind doesn't hit your face at night. This is a room on the ground floor - the window overlooks the ventilation shaft, it is close to the window of the next room (about 1.5 meters). This is a bit disturbing, although the room has thick curtains for privacy. The building is very acoustic - at night you can hear noise from the corridor and neighboring rooms. A second light switch next to the bed or a lamp would be useful - if you want to turn off the light, you have to get out of bed.
