The location was in the heart of Sultanahmet and very near to the main attractions in Istanbul like Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome etc. The view from terrace was very nice. The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful.

I felt Sultanahmet is not a good place to stay which is not really a problem of the hotel. Tea / coffee maker could be provided in rooms but this is a minor point.

I have been coming to this hotel for many years، being here 4 times so far and everytime found my stay comfortable، helped by courteous staff and excellent location 1) Rooms are comfortable، good sized and equipped with all essentials 2) Staff are polite and helpful۔ Ale on reception was not just an exceptional staff member but also great human being، always ready to help۔ similarly Ahmet was really helpful when needed something۔ Manager was always around to sort out any burning issues 3) Best location in istanbul with flat roads and near all visiting sites with tram few steps away will come back soon

The location was excellent. The room was good and bed comfortable. The sea views from the balcony were excellent. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was not good at all, so much so that we went out for breakfast on our last morning and only came back for coffee. There was no variety and what was there, was very ordinary. On 2 mornings out of 3 the only cooked things were hard boiled eggs, some tasteless sausages and some nuggets that were so hard. Turkey has some amazing sweets. No sweets were provided, except some cheap bisquits. No yoghurt and or fruit, except some ordinary looking apples. There were no glasses of any kind, cups or any cutlery in the room.

The room is smaller than expected but exceeded my expectations. We had room 309 which had an amazing view, exactly as shown in the presentation pictures. We found the room clean with freshly washed towels and nice soft bedsheets. We have expected some slippers but we found the housekeeping lady which provide us 3 pairs. The receptionists were both very nice but, unfortunately our TV did not worked and none of them has been able to help us with the issue. The balcony is perfect for quiet nights, the view of our room was exactly the one from the picture on the site but , despite the daily cleaning, it was still dirty( due to seagulls and pigeons). Breakfast quite poor but satisfactory and just perfect for a good start of the day( we checked the prices of food, generally in the grocery stores and we realized that as it is so expensive we should be happy there is still a breakfast), the lady serving the breakfast was incredibly nice and humble, greeting us every day with a smile . We did smoked in the balcony!

Everything was perfect and for the amount we have paid we did not expect more. If there is a minus point, I need to say that the room lacks some hooks for jackets to be hanged or even the towels. Otherwise here is no minus !

Thanks for Sayeed. He is a nice person, Ahmed too. We took the room with the sea view, that was a very good choice. The room is big enough for three people, the bathroom is a bit too small, not like the pictures. The breakfast is good as well. I would definitely recommend that hotel.

The first night, we had to stay in another room because our booked one wasn't available. But that was OK because we arrived at night. The most bothering thing is that there is no trash can in the room, Sayeed you must put one in every room.

Overall, our stay at the Olympic Hotel was memorable, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. The friendly and helpful staff truly made a difference, and we look forward to returning!

Our second time in Istanbul, first time in Olimpic Hotel. I can only say good things about the place, and better things about the staff. The receptionists (Ahmed is great, and the blonde lady (I can't remember her name but she's the only lady working in the reception), she's absolutely fantastic, friendly, helpful, etc. My special gratitude to the beautiful lady chef that works so hard every morning to offer the best breakfast and always with a big smile on her face. Olimpic is in a perfect central location less than 10 mins walk from the Grand Bazaar and a 2in walk from the main Tram lines. The rooms are okay but the breakfast was really delicious with a variety of traditional Turkish and sufficient Western/European dishes - a really homely provision. The room was clean but fairly basic with a TV, tiny fridge and Air Conditioner. The staff are quite accommodating. There was a very cheap and well-stocked little supermarket (which the locals use as well) right across the street - shop here for essentials!

The shower was not great with the shower screen/door threatening to fall off!

The location is premium 2 mins walk to the main attractions like aya sofía church and the tramway The staff is very very friendly The view from the terrace is excellent And delicious buffet breakfast maybe it could have been better if the added like turkish pastries to try The hitel has lift ( asenceur) The room is good

The way to the roof has no lift you should take normal stairs It could be a problem if you have elder people or someone with medical problem Noting that breakfast is on the roof

First of all- the location is just perfect. Close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica of Cistern, Topkapi etc. 5 min walk and you can see the most beautiful places in Sultanahmet area. My room was big enough for two people (I was alone and it was huge for me), bed was very comfortable. I am a big fan of cheese so breakfast was good enough for me. Close to the Olimpic Hotel is restaurant called Ortaklar- very cheap, tasty food and great service! Don’t forget to try sahlep and rice pudding!

It’s not the Hotel’s fault but it was a bit noisy because of the supermarket in front of the hotel- delivery sound might be problematic for some of you so don’t forget to take ear plugs. I’ve spent 5 nights in that place and it only happened twice so not a big deal
