In the perfect location if it’s your first time coming to Istanbul, so close to all attractions. Service really good and the hotel cleaned to a high standard. We didn’t check out the pool Would stay here again

After a heavy rainfall the shower did eject some brown water, it only happened the once and we didint notify the staff as it wasn’t a big issue.

had a fantastic experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and extremely professional. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed. The amenities were top-notch – the pool was clean and relaxing, the gym was well-maintained, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. The location was also perfect, close to popular attractions and restaurants. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul and would definitely return in the future!

Perfect location bang in the middle of the old city. Major sites round the corner, and there's even an attraction just outside the hotel ("Cistern of Theodosius" - with a light show). Lobby area is spacious and updated. Check in experience was good, with informative introduction to the city and provision of options. Complimentary big bottle of water in the room. Mini-bar also with reasonable prices. We had a twin room, and the hotel offered an additional small bed for a child. Good value for the price paid. There is a terrace at the top with a bit of a view, but there was nobody there when we went. It was too hot a day for anyone to be there but there are chairs and tables. Spa area has showers and changing room with lockers, so it is secure.

The room is a little bit dated. The breakfast was not to our liking - appeared to be a lot of choices but not quite the quality. Could not really eat much of what was on offering. Pool was cold and is small if you actually wanted to really swim. The hamam, steam room and sauna were not heated at the time we went down, and i suppose if we had asked at reception, someone would eventually come to turn on. However, I would have expected these to be on so that guests don't need to waste time or come back later to use something that should be permanently on. The overall spa area on the lower ground floor was unattended, so we couldn't ask for help.

I really liked the hotel’s location. It is just a 2-5 minute walk from the tram, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar, with everything you need conveniently nearby, including the tram for easy transportation. The staff were also amazing—some of the kindest and most wonderful people I’ve met during my travels. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and always willing to help with anything you need. Additionally, the rooms were cleaned and tidied every day, and they were quite clean. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee available, as well as towels, soap, shampoo, shower gel, and slippers, which added to the overall comfort.

The hotel is slightly outdated compared to the photos, and my initial impression upon entering the room wasn’t great. I would have preferred softer mattresses and pillows for a more comfortable stay. Although the breakfast had everything you might expect or want, I would suggest adding a bit more variety to the menu. Additionally, there were no bathrobes or toothbrushes provided in the room, which would have been a nice addition.

The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. The cleanliness of the entire property was impeccable. As a group of girls traveling together, we felt very safe in the area, which added to our comfort. The location is outstanding — with a tram stop just steps away, and many restaurants, mosques, Grand Bazaar, and major tourist attractions all within walking distance. Highly recommended for those seeking both convenience and peace of mind :)

The location is ideal. Walking distance to the main attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, grand bazaar & lots of other bazaars around. Close to cafes, restaurants & roof top dining. A convenience store next door & a restaurant. Across the road is an attraction. A small cistern underground. Coffee shop across the road. Our room was very small. Not much room to have the suitcases open. House keeping done daily. Breakfast is good. Lots of variety. Staff are very friendly & willing to assist.

The rooms are ver small… but this could be a general observation in most of the hotels in this location !!

My family and I stayed for 5 nights at this hotel. The staff were very helpful, kind, and friendly. The Turkish breakfast was great, and they varied part of the breakfast each day, such as the omelet or fried eggs and different types of cakes, so it didn't become boring to have breakfast there every day. All the rooms were generally clean and comfortable, but some were bigger than others and had a view of the street, which was nicer. We used the pool and sauna almost every day. Although the pool was not very big, it was very clean and great for entertaining our kids. If the sauna is off, you should ask the staff to turn it on for you. However, it would have been better if the pool and sauna hours were longer. The rooftop terrace was also very nice, with a view over the sea and city. In general, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, and I highly recommend it.

The hotel facilities are as one would expect but there are a couple of things that make the Antea Hotel truly exceptional. The location is fantastic - an easy walk to many of the most significant historical and cultural venues and only a block from the tram system. In spite of its central location, we found it to be quite quiet. Our fondest memories of the Antea Hotel are of the front desk staff, both day and night. These folks were helpful in every way imaginable, personable and fun to talk to.

The buffet breakfast had a huge selection but was out for so long we found the hot items were cold and the coffee stale. There are many good options right across the street. We also found our room a little small for a week's stay.
