I recently had the pleasure of staying at Nena Hotel and it was truly a delightful experience. The location alone is worth mentioning, as it provided easy access to many of the city's iconic landmarks. The breakfast was good with a lot of fruits included. Also we were very pleased with the staff which ensured that our needs were met and that we felt welcome throughout our stay. The service provided by the receptionist Gokhan was exceptional, his hospitality and attentiveness being evident since the moment we stepped in. The hotel’s room are not big, but are very clean. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul, and I'm already looking forward to my next stay.

Staying at Hotel Nena was an amazing experience. I have been more than 10 times in Istanbul, but I can honestly say this was the best hotel i've stayed in. Starting with the perfect location, just 1 minute walking to Sultanahmet and ending with the fact that the hotel is incredibly clean. Our room was cleaned every day, the towels changed, even though we didn't ask. Amenities and water supply was filled as well every day. So a big thank you to the cleaning staff. Also to the guys at the reception who always greeted us with a smile and made us feel really welcome. The breakfast was really good in our opinion, with many options every day. The beds and pillows were comfortable, so we could rest after the days of exploring wonderful Istanbul. Thank you again, Hotel Nena!

The best thing about this hotel is it's view of The Bosphorus, Hagia Sofia and The Blue Mosque. Ask for Room 501. The location is very close to all the famous sites in the Old Quarter and the tram so it is easy to get around. The breakfast is more than adequate and the room and bathroom is very comfortable. Highly recommended.

I travel a lot, and this hotel was truly one of the best I've experienced! It was my first time in Istanbul, and thanks to this hotel and its amazing staff, my visit was absolutely incredible! The hotel's location is perfect, offering everything you need within reach. There are charming spots with picturesque views for breakfast, dinner, or simply taking photos. You can easily visit the Grand Bazaar, the hamam, and the Blue Mosque on foot, and the tram station is less than a 5-minute walk away. Upon entering, you're greeted by a beautifully elegant hotel lobby and the friendliest staff at the reception that you could ever hope to meet. The room was impeccably clean, had a refreshing scent, and was clearly recently renovated. The view from my room was absolutely stunning! I particularly appreciated the gesture of providing a large bottle of water daily. It's a small touch, but it shows their concern for the well-being of their guests, ensuring they stay hydrated. It was a thoughtful touch. As a light sleeper, I can confidently say that the room was remarkably quiet, allowing me to sleep soundly throughout my stay. Now, the breakfast was a true delight. They offered a wide variety of Turkish cheeses, an assortment of jams, cakes, biscuits, dips, and more. It was a breakfast dream come true! However, I've saved the best for last. While you can find hotels with great rooms and views, what truly made my stay exceptional was the hotel staff. They went above and beyond to assist me, especially since it was my first time in Istanbul. They provided invaluable recommendations, guided me on getting around the city, and showed exceptional hospitality. Their warmth and welcoming nature made me feel like I was at home. To top it off, they even celebrated my birthday, which moved me to tears and left me with a heartwarming feeling I will never forget. Gokhan, Aykut, Kenan, and Mehmet were the epitome of exceptional hotel staff.

Loved this hotel. We felt so welcome, it really felt like home! Staff was amazing, reception manager took care about us, explained the best way to get around the city (huge thanks, it was very useful!). He also helped to book a private transfer from / to the IST airport (60 EUR one way) - very convenient, much better than the public transport. The location is absolutely perfect - on a quiet street right next to the vibrant street with shops, restaurants and tram line. 7 min walk down the street to Sultanahmet Square with Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Basilica Cistern. Same time up the street to the Grand Bazaar and other amazing mosques. The room was very clean, bed comfortable, two bottles of complimentary water were provided every day. We were lucky, because we got an amazing view (subject to availability of particular room) with incredible view of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Bosphorus. Breakfast room was very beautiful, full of light. Breakfast was tasty, I particularly enjoyed Turkish tea and sweets. If we ever come to Istanbul again, we'll definitely stay here. A nice and cozy place place to stay in this incredible city.

Nothing, everything was great!

A very nice hotel. The room was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was at the end when they called a taxi ‘they trust’ to bring me to the airport. They assured me that the cost would only be what was on the meter but as soon as we left I saw the meter wasn’t on. When I asked about it, the driver kept pretending that he didn’t understand me and told me the price would be only €50.00. I knew something was really wrong so I texted the hotel who contacted the taxi station and they called the driver, telling him to turn on the meter. Then a few kilometres before the airport he turned it off again! I was so annoyed! And then had to pay him 1650 lira as he insisted that it was 1500 plus his commission. Obviously this isn’t the hotels fault but hopefully by writing this, they will get more strict about the taxi companies they use / recommend for their guests.

The dishonest taxi company they use.

Exceptional Stay at Hotel Nena, Istanbul My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Nena in Istanbul, and we can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel at home, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Sultanahmet, within walking distance of iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. This made exploring the city incredibly convenient, saving both time and effort. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of modern comfort.Despite being in the bustling city center, the rooms were quiet and provided a peaceful retreat after a long day of sightseeing. One of the highlights of my stay was the amazing breakfast served in the hotel restaurant. Not only was the food delicious and varied, but made every morning a special experience. The service at Hotel Nena is truly five-star. The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and always ready to assist with recommendations, bookings, or any special requests. Their hospitality made a huge difference in making our stay feel personalized and memorable. If you’re looking for a hotel in Istanbul that combines an excellent location, outstanding service, and great value, Hotel Nena is the perfect choice. I highly recommend it and will definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet, Istanbul. The location was perfect—everything was just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Aykut, Mehmet, and Can, who went above and beyond to help us with everything from baby food and milk requests to great local restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of delicious options, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We truly felt at home and will definitely stay here again whenever we’re in Istanbul!

Modern and tastefully decorated hotel. Excellent location, within walking distance to all major attractions: Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome. Very close to public transportation. But what really sets this hotel apart is its warm, welcoming and courteous Staff. From the employees in the Reception area, Gotham, Aziz, Can, Mehmet and Aykut. To the people in charge of breakfast, Saliha the chef, Fatma, Erkan, and Ilkan (breakfast was delicious and plentiful, by the way.) And last but not least, Sevcihan, who gave us a spotless room to return to each of the seven days we spent here. All of them in general were very helpful, gave us excellent suggestions, and made us feel looked after. In the best tradition of world class hoteliers. Kudos!!
