The biggest USP of this hotel is the location. There are at least 10-15 touristic places you can cover by foot. Also there is a tram station just 2-3 minutes away from the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and a huge shout out to Melisa and Yilmaz. The accommodated my special requests with a smile. We all loved the stay, there was something special about this stay which I can't express in words. But then if I'm gonna visit Turkey the next time, the hotel is surely gonna be the Golden Crown Hotel.

The rooms could have been a bit bigger, but then may be it was only me who got a smaller room. But it is decent enough, so no complaints.

I stayed here for 4D3N and it was comfortable overall. The room is slightly small and is comfortable and relatively clean. Toilet is clean and spacious enough. We got breakfast each morning and the food choices is good enough to make you full in the morning. The location is pretty central and near to the T1 tram line. Staffs were helpful towards any inquiry.

Albeit being located pretty central to the main tourist attractions, you’d have to do a lot of hiking up and down the cobblestone road which can be a bit of a hassle if you’re carrying multiple luggage or if you’re traveling with elders. The hotel is located near to several other hotels and shops/restaurants and it can get pretty noisy at night and early morning so if you’re sensitive to noise, just be aware of that.

We arrived around 10 am, and we were greeted by the incredibly kind receptionist, Zeynep, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Not only did she graciously allow us to check in early, but she also extended the hospitality by inviting us to enjoy breakfast and surprised us with a room upgrade! The hotel's location is superb, as it's conveniently close to iconic attractions such as Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, with easy access to the tram. With such exceptional service and a prime location, your stay here is bound to be nothing short of fantastic. You're guaranteed to cherish every moment!

The staff were lovely, especially at breakfast, and including Nurhak at the desk. This is prime location for the Blue Mosque, Sultan's Hilll area, Grand Bazaar etc. Cost was incredibly reasonable and my daughter and I had twin room which was small but comfortable and clean.

Arranging my airport transport via Booking.com rather than the hotel was much cheaper.

Small cozy hotel. Zeynep is really nice receptionist, and pretty 😉 Yilmaz excellent gentleman, fine example of Turkish service. Worm welcomed with tea and coffee. Location is really nice, and everything is nearby.

The hotel is small, and sometimes you would wait a little longer to check in, so you could expect some wait time if you arrive at the starting of check in time, you would not have this problem if you arriving later in the day. The brekfest could improve in variety, but it is not something I expected to have, so it's nothing I would take to heart They have a small elevator, so if you are a big group you would need multiple trips, we used the staircase because it was faster.

We stayed at the hotel for about two days. The location was excellent for those who want to see the tourist areas. The staff is equally helpful and very willing. Specifically, Melisa was the one who, from the moment we made the reservation until our departure, served us to the fullest. Her contribution was very substantial. I will definitely recommend the accommodation to friends who will visit the city.

The Golden Crown Hotel is in the great location, all main sightseeings are nearby. The hotel has good restaurant: you can sit inside and outside. Food is good and stuff is very helpful and polite. Reception Zeynep and Yilmaz was very kind arranging transfer pickup at early time than booked. Also Deniz who served us at breakfast was very kind greeting guests in the mornings with smile and helping. All these left very bright impression of the hotel. I recommend Golden Crown hotel in Istanbul.

There is no things to dislike in the hotel.

Everything was amazing, amazing hotel, amazing people, amazing service, we loved it here, couldn't have asked for a better experience everyone here was so lovely, made us feel at home, everyone was so friendly and kind, we especially want to thank Melissa, she was so lovely and funny, we got along really well and she was always so friendly and kind, we recommend this hotel to everyone!!

This was our third visit to Istanbul. The hotel is in a great location, close to the sites, restaurants, and shops.. The staff were extremely helpful, especially Dogukan, Farooq, Yilmaz, Serhat, Saeed, Feroza, and Burak. They work really hard and are very friendly. Thank you for making our stay special. Lots of choice at breakfast, and the chef did her best to change the menu ever so slightly. Farooq guided us on how to travel to Galata Tower and Dolmabahce Palace using the trams. It's so easy to use the istanbulkart. You need the card to get into some of the toilets near Haghia Sophia and Blue Mosque.

Could do with a lick of paint to freshen up the place, it was still comfortable.
