We really enjoyed our stay at Lina Hotel Taksim Pera. The location is amazing – just a short walk from Istiklal Street, right in between Taksim Square and Galata Tower, and very close to public transport, which made it super easy to get around. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful – everyone made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and overall the hotel was quiet and relaxing. Overall, it’s a great place to stay in central Istanbul – clean, comfortable, and with a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again!

On a couple of nights, we could hear some distant music from bars or clubs nearby, but nothing too loud or disturbing.

Big beautiful suite with high ceiling. Good isolation so no noise from the street when window is closed. Good advices from the staff on how to reach the places we wanted to visit by bus/metro/ferry. Free coffee at the reception, with cookies. As I am a smoker, there was opportunity to smoke a cigarette on a shared balcony or on the small courtyard. The door to the room can be safely locked with a private code. Room-service was perfect, every time we asked for it by hanging the notice at your door. High water-pressure in the douche. There was always a nice fresh smell inside the hotel, they use some kind of aroma-diffuser.

Though the living-room has air-conditioning, there is none in the bedroom. The bathroom has a ventilation-system, but the bedroom can get hot, there is no ventilation, no window. But it was not too bad, as the weather wasn't really hot.

Everything! The staff truly made our stay special, they were so kind, attentive, and went out of their way to help us with recommendations and directions. The hotel itself is a beautiful 19th-century historical building, which gives it a unique and elegant feel. Our room (large suite) was immaculately clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated, blending historic charm with modern amenities. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to Taksim Square, which made exploring so easy. We loved relaxing here. It truly felt like a home away from home with a rich sense of history.

There was honestly nothing to dislike. The entire experience was flawless.

The old house had lots of character but with modern bathroom and lift. I loved the garden ... that's why I chose the Lina. Front desk were friendly and helpful. Nice cappuccino in the lobby. Great location for Metro at Taksim, Galata and Ishtiklal. Close to the Tünel entrance that goes down to the tram line on Galata Bridge.

Not really a dislike but the entrance to the hotel is a little different as it's off the main road, up a walkway but everyone helps with the bags down to the main road. It made it quite special I'd read about this in a review so was forewarned. I lost my way back from Ishtiklal as the walkway is accessed from the road by the Tünel entrance. The Irish Pub is a landmark but it's not on Ishtiklal but round the corner from the Tünel entrance.

Staff is very helpful and kind , anything I asked they helped me .. the receptionists are very good and polite guys ! Internet working very good. Rooms get cleaned everyday. Coffee water and tea and towels new , fresh everyday.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city 1 min walk to Istiklal street. Very comfortable to get to anywhere from there . Bus station is two mins away ( Omer Hyam ) which has buses to everywhere . Tram way station ( Tophane ) is 15 mins walking so is very very easy to get to everywhere from this place. If I will visit Istanbul again. I will definitely choose the same hotel

I'm absolutely amazed by the experience I had. The interior design and style of the hotel are truly remarkable, creating luxorious but also home atmosphere. The garden is peaceful and beautifully maintained, perfect place for afternoon relax. The room we stayed in was incredibly spacious. The receptionists gave us exceptional service. They were extremely kind and accommodating, even upgrading us to a bigger room. The room and the bathroom were very clean, everything was perfect. The view is lovely and I adored the windows style as well.

Location, location, location. I travelled with my 80 year old mum this time. She was happy that the property had a lift and that she didn't have to walk far to reach Istiklal Street, the Metro or to get a taxi. We loved the decor and spacious room and bathroom as well as the lovely views. The attentiveness and hospitality of the management and staff were the cherry on the top.

There was nothing that we had reason to complain about. Perhaps the only thing is that the property could acquire a scale to check the weight of one's luggage before going to the airport as there are so many things that catch one's eye that you didn't intend to purchase.

The Lina Hotel Taksim Pera is a place I’ve stayed at on a number of my trips to Istanbul over the years whether on my own, with a girlfriend and recently with my 80 year old mum and it never fails to disappoint. It’s become like my home away from home. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel housed in a historical building where Paul Parma the Italian tailor of the Ottoman Palace and his family lived (but more importantly it does have a lift 😊). Centrally located in the Beyogulu district: around 300m from St. Anthony of Padua Church, 600m from the infamous Istiklal Shopping Street and Şişhane Metro and 300m from Nevizade Street (Nevizade Sokak) where the party is on any day of the week or season. The tasteful décor, oil paintings and parquet floors throughout the property lend a feeling of comfort and opulence blending in modern amenities such as free hi-speed Wifi, an iPod docking station, digital radio, fridge and the air conditioning and heating ensure that you’re comfortable when visiting during any season. A coffee machine, free bottled water and a kettle are also provided and one can enjoy beautiful sea and city views from the rooftop terrace. More importantly the property management understand Turkish “misafirperverlik” well. They are professional & hospitable and Mr. Murat is extremely efficient and goes out of his way to ensure that ones needs are met and that you feel at home.

There's nothing that I didn't like about the property, the location or the staff. The only downside is that I wasn't able to stay longer :(.

It was a pleasant experience. The location was convenient — walking distance to major attractions and vibrant cafés, but be aware that the surrounding streets get quite noisy. The room was tidied up every day. The reception team was warm and welcoming.

I found the price a bit high compared to similar hotels in Istanbul. While the comfort was fine, the amenities of the room didn’t quite match the rate being charged.

The hotel is centrally located, the location is accessible to the most famous spots so that everyone can visit them! The staff and especially Murat are very helpful, friendly, willing to help you with the area and anything else we needed either in the hotel or outside the hotel! The building where the hotel is located is very old with its own history, it definitely needs some upgrades but it remains vintage which makes it unique in the area we stayed in!
