Staff was amazing! Super kind and helpful. I had a long layover so decided to stay at the World Heritage Center Hotel in Sultanahmet. I’ve been here before and had loved my previous stay so decided to book once more and they did not disappoint. I had an early flight (had to leave at around 4 a.m.) and when I came down they had packed me breakfast to eat on the road. Not a lot of hotels will do that for you! I also booked the airport transfer with them due to not wanting to risk my taxi not showing up. Airport transfer was a seamless process and they arrived earlier than expected which was nice! Definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area!

I stayed at a hotel in Sultanahmet, Istanbul, and it was an amazing experience! The location is perfect — right near the metro station, so it’s super easy to get around and return to the hotel at any time. You’ve got McDonald’s nearby, as well as plenty of cheap food options, and the view of the Blue Mosque is just beautiful. The room service was excellent — the rooms were always clean and well-kept. Breakfast was very good, with fresh food served every day. Most importantly, the people who work here are kind, helpful, and always ready to assist. Highly recommend this place if you want the best location, great service, and a warm welcome in Istanbul!

The service of this hotel is simply exceptional. We had a reservation for 2 days later, and requested if they can store our luggage early and they were more than happy to. Upon arrival at the hotel on the day of check in, they had our rooms ready with luggage already delivered to our room. They have snacks, water bottles, juices available at reception and have the same on the terrace. The Hotel is walking distance to the Hagia Sophia, Cistern, Bazaar, Blue Mosque and all the scenic sites. The Meto is right outside the hotel making it super easy to go to other parts of the city. The service on the terrace is exceptional, they served us, cakes, Turkish tea, juices, soda, whatever we like while we unwind and enjoy the view. Thanks a lot to all the staff for making our stay wonderful. They were happy to organize the airport taxi and also give us handy tips on shopping and how to get to certain locations.

-The location is amazing-this is why we chose this hotel.The T1 tram stop is right outside the front door, and it is within walking distance of the major tourist sites in old town. -View from the small terrace is beautiful, especially at night. -The hotel team were very also helpful with recommendations and organizing our airport transfer, although I would suggest using the metro rather than a car transfer due to the heavy traffic.

Not so much ‘things we didn’t like’, more like things we wish we knew before… We had an economy double which was tiny. I knew it would be small but if you have more than one suitcase each then you will struggle to get round the bed. I would have preferred a larger room, higher up the hotel but was told there was none others available. The noise from the streets is to be expected as the area is lively until late, however, we were based in a room on the side of the hotel above the entrance and adjacent to restaurants, so it seemed extra noisy. Ask for a room on the highest floor to be further away from the noise. Access to the rooftop terrace is by a very small spiral staircase which less mobile people will find challenging to access-but the view is worth the climb!

We had an excellent stay at this hotel! Everything was spotlessly clean, and the location couldn’t be better – right in the center and close to everything, with the tram stop just in front of the hotel. One of the highlights was the spectacular view from the terrace – we could see both the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia! Absolutely breathtaking and the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring with some Turkish tea offered by them! We would especially like to compliment Azat, the receptionist. His kindness and helpfulness were truly exceptional. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home and assisted us with everything we needed. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant – we’ll definitely come back!

Staff were so lovely and helpful, and made our time in Istanbul so delightful! Moussa helped us plan the perfect itinerary, and the help with the airport transfer was so appreciated as well. Really lovely and extensive breakfast buffet, and the view from the rooftop patio was absolutely stunning - especially at night!

Only challenge was that because of the fabulous location, it's right in the heart of everything, and there was a lot of noise that came through the window. But we just wore our headphones and slept fine. :) The nice location was worth it.

As someone who has traveled extensively, I can confidently say that the World Heritage Center Hotel in Istanbul is exceptional. My family and I had a superb experience during our stay - the location, convenience, cleanliness, elevator, and hospitality of the staff were all outstanding. Musa, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and provide us with helpful information about the city and even gave us a room upgrade! But what really made our stay unforgettable was the stunning view of the Blue Mosque from the hotel's rooftop and our room. It was a sight to behold, and we spent many moments just taking in the beauty of the mosque and the city. I can't recommend this hotel enough - it truly offers a delightful stay in Istanbul. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, the World Heritage Center Hotel is the perfect choice for an unforgettable experience.

Our stay at World Heritage Center Hotel was simply exceptional. The hotel is located just minutes away from major attractions like Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, and the Grand Bazaar, with Galata Bridge, other mosques, and ferry terminals within 20 minutes on foot. If you prefer not to walk, the T1 tram stop is literally in front of the hotel, making it easy to reach places like Galata Tower or Dolmabahçe Palace in no time. We had a spotless room on the top floor with a stunning view of the Blue Mosque. Let me tell you, that view — especially at night — is unforgettable: the mosque beautifully lit in the foreground, the moonlight shimmering on the sea, and the distant lands and islands in the background. It was truly magical and absolutely worth every cent. Even if your room doesn't have that view, don't worry — the rooftop terrace offers an even better panoramic view, and the hotel provides free tea, coffee, and light snacks you can enjoy while admiring it. They also offer complimentary bottled water, lemonade, coffee, and snacks in the lobby at all times, which is a lovely touch. The breakfast was fresh, generous, and varied, with new dishes appearing each day. On my birthday, they surprised me with a delicious little cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture — thank you again! The staff is outstanding. They are genuinely helpful and kind, ready to assist with anything. They helped us plan a relaxed 3-day itinerary in Istanbul, gave us an Istanbulkart to use for public transport, and also arranged our airport transfers smoothly. On our last day, we had a late flight, and the hotel gladly stored our luggage so we could enjoy our final hours in Istanbul stress-free. As for some things mentioned in other reviews: - Room size: Personally, we found the rooms to be perfectly adequate. Just choose the right one for your needs — if you're staying longer or have larger luggage, simply book a bigger room.

We chose the World Heritage Hotel primarily for its location — just steps away from some of Istanbul’s most iconic landmarks — but what we did not expect was the warmth and exceptional hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and cared for. We were kindly upgraded to a larger room with a stunning view of the Blue Mosque, which was such a beautiful and unexpected touch. The room was clean, comfortable, and maintained with great care throughout our stay. The entire staff - Musa and his team, went above and beyond with thoughtful recommendations and genuine friendliness. They were always approachable and happy to help, which made navigating the city and planning our days so much easier and more enjoyable. Musa's introductory talk on arrival allowed us to plan our itinerary effectively and his team were able to recommend a Bosphorus cruise and arrange a Whirking Dervish show for us. Each morning started with a delicious breakfast — a wide selection of fresh and flavorful options served in a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. It was the perfect way to fuel up for the busy day ahead. We can’t thank the World Heritage Hotel enough for making our trip so special. We’re leaving with wonderful memories and will absolutely return in the future! We have already recommended the hotel to family and friends in the UK.
