If you want to be close to most touristy places such as Sultan Ahmet Mosque (aka blue mosque), Haga Sophia etc then this is definitely the place to stay. All in walking distance. The breakfast was buffet style and superb - so much to choose from. We especially enjoyed the different Turkish options for breakfast. The rooms were simple but clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly :) Our flight was only later in the evening on our day of checkout so we asked if we could keep our luggage there until we needed to head to the airport and they were happy to keep our luggage for us. Very impressive WiFi connectivity! An extra bonus for us was that they do not have any alcohol on the premises and everything was halal at breakfast. We found it a bit difficult to find a place in this area that didn't have alcohol on premises and still remain within our budget for accommodation. So this was the cherry on the top for us!!

I had a very good stay at Ayasultan Hotel in Istanbul. The location was excellent and everything went very well overall. The breakfast was varied and delicious, with plenty of choices every morning.

The only downsides were the extremely limited number of TV channels, the minibar which did not cool properly, and the doors that could be better soundproofed. Other than that, I was very satisfied and would recommend the hotel.

Excellent staff - nothing was a trouble for them. The location was fantastic- a very easy wall to all the major attractions and a short walk to the teams. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There were also good restaurants nearby and all the managers gave us some good tips.

The only real problem was the breakfast. They often ran out of food, no coffee machine, bread never seemed fresh. The staff, however, tried their best.

The personel from hotel was really nice and polite, we were very satisfied with servise. Also very clean and good location.

The people from other rooms were really load and make lot of noice long time after midnight, it was hard for us to fell asleep and get some rest. Only negative thing from our experience

Staff are great. Room was in good size. They provide us looker, room kettle and small fridge . Also every morning we were getting fresh water bottles. Area is fantastic. Hotel is clean and nice from inside and outside. Food shopping cloth shopping and gifts shops all very close to it. I Definitely recommend this hotel and i will book this for next time as well

1) Bathroom sealing got damp 2) Hair dryer wasn’t working. Complained to them but no action 3) my room was very dark. There was a window but no view, you only can see a wall there 4) breakfast was good but it will be nice if they provide warm milk and a small grill for warm the bread

The location. It is easy to find food nearby and it is near to several Istanbul's tourist attractions. It is also well connected to other places in Istanbul as the Sultanahmet tram station is very near.

Nothing. But for those with mobility issues, you should be aware that in order to enter the hotel, you need to go up several steps (without handle) at the entrance.

Location: Walking distance to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazar, Gülhane park etc. Few minutes walk to local tram /tubes station. Local restaurants, McDonalds, shops . Staff: Wonderful, courteous, professional and helpful staff . Special thanks to Sinnan , Arda. Cleanliness: Very clear room. Cleaning staff on site every day ( it’s a hotel) We booked family room ( two rooms with Separate bathrooms but shared and secured entrance).

Nothing to complain about really.

I was very satisfied with the location, room, and breakfast. Above all, the staff's generous support from the first day of my stay allowed me to enjoy my stay and sightseeing with peace of mind. I am very grateful. On my last day, I had some trouble printing my airline boarding pass, but they were very cooperative and helped me out. I was impressed by their constant smiling attitude.

The only thing I would like is for toilet paper to be provided in each room. We booked two rooms, but each room ran out of toilet paper, so we had to share it between the other rooms. I think satisfaction would be higher if there was a sufficient amount of toilet paper provided during room cleaning.

The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful! The location is great and most tourist spots in the area are walkable. There is a wonderfully cute cat that lives outside of the hotel!

The walks are super thin so you can hear everything that happens in the next rooms and most guests do not care about other people’s sleep time. The beds are a bit uncomfortable too

The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming people. They did their best to help us with booking and recommended us good places to go to. Location was amazing as all the main tourist attractions (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Bascilia Cistern, Grand Baazar) are 5-10 minute walking distance. It saved us a lot of money from spending on public transport and taxis. Galata tower + Taksim Square is around 15-30 minutes away and it was the only time we used a taxi to go to a tourist location. This hotel is good for people who want to spend majority of their day out of the hotel and come back to relax in a comfortable living space. Granted the rooms were small but they were clean, well decorated and the facilities (shower, AC, exhaust) were 80% of the time working well. PLUS, there are cats everywhere and they’re soooo adorable and well-taken care of!!

One thing to keep in mind is that the street which the hotel is located on is closed off during the day. This means any taxis can’t come up to pick you up directly infront of the hotel. This wasn’t that annoying as we only had to walk a minute or two to get picked up by our uber but it’s good to know for people with a lot of luggage.
