The hotel was in a quiet street but still very close to restaurants, cafes and the old town

We had to change rooms after the first night as the smell from the bathroom was really bad. At first they offered to put something down the bathroom drain but when we insisted on being moved to another room this was done quickly. The beds were clean and comfortable. The air con worked well and the breakfast was good.

We loved staying there my wife and I. Place is clean, people are extremely nice and attentive, and the location is very nice. The one issue we had is the noise coming from the shisha bar next to us. They had loud music all night… so that was annoying. Some rooms are smaller than other. So if you’re staying for a while, book the bigger room:) Breakfast was decent, could be better. But the options were alright Shout out to my man Ali, he was a great host and worker there.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Its biggest advantage is undoubtedly its location: just a few minutes’ walk from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Public transportation stops are also very close, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere in the city. Despite being in the very heart of Istanbul, the hotel is surprisingly quiet at night, allowing for a peaceful and restful sleep without any disturbance from city noise. The staff is excellent: friendly, welcoming, and always eager to communicate in the guest’s language. They are ready to help with any situation, whether it’s printing a boarding pass or handling a noisy neighbor watching TV too loudly. Breakfast is great and diverse, with plenty of options for European tastes as well as traditional Turkish dishes, giving guests a chance to experience the local cuisine. There is more than enough food to fuel up before a day of sightseeing. The rooms are very comfortable, featuring cozy beds that provide excellent sleep and spacious, spotless bathrooms with strong water pressure. Daily housekeeping ensures impeccable cleanliness: fresh towels, bottled water, coffee, and a well-maintained room every day. It’s clear that the hotel prioritizes hygiene and comfort. Overall, this hotel is a perfect choice for a stay in Istanbul, offering top-notch service, comfort, and an unbeatable location. Highly recommended!

The only minor downside comes from the building’s historic character: since it is an old structure, there may be occasional issues like temperature fluctuations or mild odors from the pipes. However, simply opening a window usually solves this. Despite that, the hotel is well-equipped for all needs, including an elevator, making it easy to access upper floors.

Loved the decor of the room and foyer of Hotel, very Turkish. The breakfast was a huge spread but mainly the same every day. The staff were super friendly and helpful in anything you need. They are also happy to store your luggage if needed. The location was close to everything , very handy. We stayed for one week, and most of the people we met were regulars that return to the hotel every trip!

The staff were great and very friendly...Murat was a great guy who was always happy to help and greet the guests... everyone was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was good as well. The location is excellent with everything within walking distance of a few mins. Many major attractions and the tram were all 5 mins away including restaurants,but i would avoid most of the restaurants around here, mostly expensive tourist prices. Just around 1 hr from and to the IST airport which was great given the traffic. There are 2 elevators as well which was good. I would recommend this place if you are looking to explore Istanbul especially on foot.

The sounds from inside the hotel were pretty disturbing, after a long day of exploring, getting a good night's sleep was a bit difficult, especially early in the morning. It was very loud i would say. Cleaning, and plumbing sounds were clearly heard from other rooms as well as chatter of people. Rooms could use some soundproofing. Also the bathroom in one of the rooms i had was a bit small, it feels a bit cramped up in the shower and on the toilet...i'm 5' 7 and 160Lbs, someone bigger would have a very difficult time. However the bathroom in the second room was spacious. We had connecting rooms. Overall the disturbing sounds were the only downside i would say. Also please do wash the cups and kettle before use, they were not very clean.

The location was amazing. The price was very good. The breakfast was fantastic, with many dishes to choose from and very tasty. The persons in the reception were very helpful and polite. The room was clean. The wifi was fast. The room and lobby were very beautiful and as shown in the pictures. The bed was very comfortable. We had free bottles of water every day.

The ventilation in the bathroom of our room was probably broken so there was a funny smell. The person responsible for cleaning took my toothbrush out of its paper case(I had opened my toothbrush and kept it in it's paper case for hygiene reasons) and threw away the paper case,maybe the persons took it for trash(?). I had to buy a new toothbrush after that that I kept in my backage.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! Just a 3-minute walk from Sultan Ahmet Station, it’s perfectly situated for exploring historical sites and nearby food courts. The breakfast was absolutely delightful, offering a great variety to start the day. The rooms were clean and tidy, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. What truly stood out was the friendly and supportive staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. If you’re looking for a fantastic place to stay in the heart of the city, this hotel is the perfect choice!

I've been in Istanbul for several times, the staff in this hotel are the nicest I've met. Always smiling (rare scene in Istanbul) and very helpful. I've spent 9 nights in total in Edibe Sultan with 0 complain. The cleaning is so good and the location is perfect. I highly recommend.

Maybe a little bit more attention to maintenance in the room (broken items mostly decorations) but there is nothing that will ruin your stay. The thing that I didn't like is the breakfast, maybe if the invest more into more occidental choices and better coffee machine. Also in the TV, only Turkish channels are working which is a bad thing. Other channels are existing but not working.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They were very welcoming when we first arrived. The room sizes were decent and spacious and very suitable for families. The cleanliness was fantastic, the housekeeping staff were very nice and completed the cleaning of the rooms very thoroughly on a daily basis and the rooms were very clean when we first arrived. The breakfast was very nice and there was a variety of options and a range of hot drinks and fresh fruit every day. Overall this is a very good hotel with friendly staff and great customer service. Another positive is the hotel location. It is very near to Sultan Ahmet Square and other main sites of Istanbul, which was ideal for our family as it reduced the need to use transportation.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Usually the same things are served, with a few changes here and there, but there's a lot to choose from. Rooms were spacious. Location was good as the two mosques, topkapi palace and the bazaars are within walking distance. The tram station was also very close by.

All the shelves in the toilet are half broken so if you put too many things, they just fall off... I feel like this is such an easy thing to fix. There was also a weird smell from inside the wardrobe. While the location is good, know that you're in the main attraction area and so there are many tourist traps. Nearly all restaurants right next to this hotel are atrocious, they charge exorbitant prices and give you very little and disgusting food. This is not the hotel's fault, but it's something to keep in mind when booking here. Do your research about where to eat and expect to pay a lot.
