Location is great and unbeatable. You have access to everything. Many popular places are nearby. It is also near to tram. Staffs are very respectful. They speak good English.

The heater was centrally controlled and it was off during some specific hours so it was not always possible to set the desired temperature. In breakfast room, while grabbing foods you are monitored by staffs standing in front of you and it makes you uncomfortable.

The location is excellent - close to public transport and within walking distance of the major sights. The breakfast was OK - not very varied, but you could find something to eat every day. The overall vibe of the hotel is really nice, with cute decor. There is a terrace with a nice view, but when we visited, the weather was cold, so we could not enjoy it as we had planned. We also hired the airport taxi through the hotel - it was really efficient and good value. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The walls are really thin, so you can hear everything from the adjoining rooms (one night we were forced to knock on the walls to let our neighbours know that we could hear their entire conversation). The rooms are small - we knew this when booking, because the info is on the website, but when you actually get to the property, it hits you (we were a party of three and it was a bit cramped).

The room was small but very clean. The bathroom too was clean. Everyday the towels have been changed. The personal from the reception was very kind The hotel is near the tram station (2min walking), and near Hagia sofia, cistern basilik (5min). Restaurants and supermarket nearby. The breakfast was good. They served me even gluten free bread (by demand). I recomand this hotel.

We loved how central the hotel is to all the tourist spots and the rooftop for the views of the Bosphorous and the Blue Mosque are amazing! It is very central and clean. It is a Turkish breakfast buffet and the staff were so caring and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would return if back in Istanbul!

The rooms are quite small which is expected in a major city especially for the location. There are minor updates that could be done. But overall for me cleanliness is vital and the hotel is clean!

I had a wonderful stay at the Aldem Hotel! The hotel is incredibly cozy and clean, making it a perfect home base for my trip. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The location is absolutely ideal – it's within walking distance to everything you could want, from shops to restaurants and attractions. Plus, the breakfast included each morning was delicious and a great way to start the day. I highly recommend the Aldem Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!

Fabulous location right in the heart of everything with a roof terrace - one flight of stairs up (no lift to here). Fabulous helpful staff who spoke English. Stayed as a solo traveller in a small room with a great shower. Tv and coffee/ tea - there is a fridge but I didn’t use it. Firm mattress which is just what I like - great nights sleep after a long day is ‘stuff’. Would highly recommend this place.

Everything was grand… coffee could’ve been a bit better at breakfast but I’m really preying to find a fault. This place is fab!

The location is excellent, close to several restaurants, major attractions and the tram line. The room, while small, was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfast was very good, as was the WiFi. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Since there are some road closures near the hotel, they even provided help with the luggage to and from the taxi.

Some little niggles, such as damaged fittings in the bathroom, but nothing serious. It is a budget hotel and does that very well.

The location is perfect if you’re looking to stay in SultanAhmet. The taxis can drop you off to the door which means you’re not having to drag your luggage across the pedestrianised area. It’s 2 minute walk from the Blue Mosque and 8 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar. The place is very clean with room service coming every day. Beds are comfortable. Staff are friendly.

The only let down was the breakfasts. The reviews about their breakfasts were positive and its what swayed me to book this hotel and unfortunately I found it disappointing. Most of the food was cold. It was scrambled or hard boiled eggs every day, no option to request a fried egg etc. There were no croissants/ pastries which are the basics of a continental breakfast. The fruit option was apples every day. One day slices of strawberry and sour apricots on another day. Also as a Brit, I need a cuppa in the morning but there were no normal/breakfast tea teabags. They only had Turkish tea ready made in an urn.

Absolutely a wonderful stay at the Aldem Hotel. The receptionist made our stay beyond pleasant and gave us great tips during our stay. Upgraded our room so that allowed us to stay an entire week instead of the one night we had originally booked. Can not say enough about the helpfulness and professionalism of the the entire staff. The free breakfast was amazing! The rooms were cleaned and the sheets were changed daily. I will definitely stay here when I return to Istanbul. Also, the view from the terrace at night is amazing. It just gets a little cold in the winter.

Fantastic location at a reasonable price. It's less than 5-minutes to Sultanahmet tram line, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. The staff were very accommodating of my early arrival (let me leave my bags and check in as soon as room was ready), they were very helpful and provided recommendations. The room itself was basic and perhaps a bit dated wallpaper but I can't fault it. It was clean and comfortable. Plus, they have a rooftop terrace with views of Blue Mosque.
